They went above and beyond for me. I had a special request and they helped. I got my medications transferred with no issue. Everyone who works here is nice. They follow the HIPPA laws which makes me happy. Some places don't and scream out your medications. They have a great selection of vitamins and natural products. They remind me of mom and pop stores. Very family oriented vibe in this location. They answered all the questions that I had. They aren't open on Saturdays. Did you know they deliver? Yes, they do. They also let you know that you have medications ready by calling you up. A lot of pharmacies do not go the extra mile that they do. I hope to be doing business with them for years to come. For an independent pharmacy they have a lot of cosmetics. I especially love the sale table that's a great table if you love a sale. The sales have random items on them but its nice how organized they are. The have other selections in the store like creams, shampoo, cards, medical supplies and much more. They do have a notary which is cool and you can also make copies here. If you have children they will be happy to know they sell these cool activity books. This place really caters to the locals. They are literally up the block from the Vernon 7 train station. The upkeep to the store is very clean and everything is in order. I prefer them over Duane Reade because if they don't have something they order it for you. They also carries a broad range of herbs, holistic and homeopathic remedies, as well as organic and gluten free products, as well as surgical supplies. What pharmacy do you know caters to you this way? I do not know of a pharmacy like it especially an independent one. They always remember my first name whenever I come in. I just appreciate their level of care that they provide. And the store is very long with some natural products I haven't heard of. I appreciate that they have a little fridge here that has eggs.

I usually don't go in for homeopathy, so I entered Nature's Prescriptions as a skeptic, not sure what I would find. They won me over immediately with the large selection of high-quality toys and baby products. The store has children's books, toys, diapers, baby ointments, and gift-wrapping supplies -- all products that are **desperately** needed here in the cradle of Queens. They even carry Haba toys!! Haba is my favorite toy brand, with beautiful high-quality wooden toys for babies on up. Check out the amazing "First Orchard" game for ages 2+ that this store carries - best game for teaching young kids about games, ever. The store also carries a selection of natural foods, home supplies (like lightbulbs), soaps, and a pharmacy. Welcome to the neighborhood Nature's Prescriptions, we have been waiting for you!!

Very mom and pop-ish, but has a lot of products to offer. The items are not super expensive, either. I plan on visiting often.

I came in for a cough and asked for their advice about what I should do and Maya recommended elderberry tea to try to soothe my bronchioles.

*This is a review for the bakery section at Whole Foods*…read more If I brought home a cake, tossed the packaging, and told you it came from a well-known local bakery, you'd probably believe me. Their bakes really are that good. I especially love their desserts. My favorites include the tres leches cake, chocolate cake, berry chantilly cake, tiramisu, and sticky toffee pudding. These are frequent purchases in my household, and I'd even say they rival desserts from many local bakeries. Their baked goods are equally impressive. The vegan croissants are surprisingly delicious, and that's coming from someone who doesn't typically eat vegan food. They're better warmed up though, as the heat brings out whatever vegan butter they use. I'm less enthusiastic about their gluten-free offerings. While the flavor is decent, the texture is a bit too airy and slightly gritty for my taste. These definitely tasted gluten-free. I am a bit cross with Whole Foods for shrinking their cakes while increasing the prices. Three years ago, their tiramisu almost filled the entire plastic box. Now it's been reduced to nearly half the size! I'm so irked by the flagrant shrinkflation here. I hope Whole Foods does something about it.

I usually go to the Whole Foods located on East 87 St. & 3rd Ave. when I'm looking for something…read morespecial or different to buy. It's a bit pricey here but they have a wide variety of healthy products. This time I wanted a cake & it was creamy, delicious & not the usual run of the mill generic supermarket cake. It's ok to pay for fresh, good quality specialty food when the whim strikes you. Well deserved. The multi-level supermarket is always bright, clean & organized. They even have a food court with seating if you choose to get a bite to eat & the restrooms are clean. The associates are polite, do their job & accommodating whenever possible.
