Toshi, my 14 week Shiba puppy and I came to Nikolett and Angela for a 1:1 private session after our puppy was having some biting issues and harness/grooming aggression. He overall is very eager to learn and was doing well with his early obedience training but definitely runs the house. Within ONE HOUR, Toshi was able to tolerate the harness, and for the FIRST TIME since he came home, he let me brush him for a minute straight without biting me!!! We got so many great tips and a list of homework to work on until our second private session later this week before we start our AKC STAR Puppy classes (already secured the date!) I cannot thank them enough for their tips, their kind words and efforts towards Toshi and I am confident to believe he will be a great dog with the right tools. read more

These trainers are seriously the best! I cannot say how much we appreciated this training for our Golden-Doodle! I had Trainer Angela visit my home for a 1:1 session. She was business from the moment she entered the house; solely focused on Ariel's attention and in minutes, yes minutes--Ariel stopped jumping up on a visitor as they came through the door! Trainer Angela also had several techniques to correct some of the puppy behaviors. Ariel has done amazing with those commands. I also enrolled our 11 month old puppy in the social class and again, in one session, she is already so much better! The trainers that I had, both in person and over Zoom, were phenomenal! My pup has been demonstrating some selective hearing and they came up with techniques to work through that. They were thorough in person and thorough with the "homework" they sent post session. They also advised getting a leather leash and spiked collar (don't worry, it doesn't hurt the pup). The in person trainer demonstrated how we know it doesn't hurt the pup by having a thick towel on my arm while wrapping it with the collar; I felt nothing! I had Naughty to Nice Dog Training come in to help train me with my 3 month old puppy. I've only owned medium to big size dogs but never a small dog until now. I have a mini long-haired dachshund. I know smaller dogs can be a bit more challenging to train. Once I had an hour session with them I gained the knowledge in order to train my puppy and the tools they gave me worked. I would say 95% of dog training lies in the ability to train the OWNER!! And, sometimes the owner THINKS they know best when in fact they don't. So that is where Nicoletta excels. She knows dog behavior, and really listens to the owner. Given a chance the owner is shown the error of their ways and the dog succeeds. If the owner is a bit stubborn, Nicoletta listens to the owner and somehow works a in a program that meets the dogs needs and the owners. We have one nipper and one PTSD survivor. We were besides ourselves on what to do. One teleconference and two meetings and we are good to go. Both rescue dogs are able to come, sit, stay and heal. Our little PTSD girl is more secure now that we know how to help her. Our boy is calming down, and we are feeling more confident in allowing him to be close to strangers. I have a 1 year old Papillion puppy. He is a very friendly social dog. He loves all other 4 legged friends...although he is only 7 lbs..he thinks he is a big boy. His struggle is being shy and timid around people. He backs away if someone tries to pet him. Nikolett worked with us and showed us some easy techniques to help him feel more secure with others.
