Well, Grand point did it,…read more Early this spring I bought big ass trolling Moter, The Garmin Kraken it's a beast and its new to the market, I live in Howell, after a month or 2 of fucking around with my local Yamaha dealer I came to realize they were incompetent. Soo, I tied another dealer, and they were afraid of it because they had never mounted such a Moter, and they weren't a Yamaha dealer. I expanded my search and found Grand Point marina, let me tell you what, these guys are phenomenal, absolutely wonderful They ordered a bracket with no questions asked, when it came in, they shared photos with me to confirm it was the correct one. I took the boat in, and they didn't lie they had never seen this trolling motor before, but they were confident they could meet the challenge, and man did they. I could not have asked for cleaner install; it is pretty damn perfect. I live 40 minutes away I won't take my boat Anyware else these guys are stuck with me. To the guys and Gals at Grand Point, I took the boat out yesterday and everything was perfect. I can't thank you enough, you killed it Tracy Moore

Below are the key events and facts that support my complaint:…read more1. On March 13, 2026, my wife and I toured the Cutwater C-288 at the Progressive Novi Boat Show with Grand Pointe Marina salesman Mike Merrill and Cutwater representative Shane. The boat and motors were pristine as Mike and Shane showed every detail of the boat during an hour-long tour. 2. On March 17, 2026, I purchased the same new Cutwater C-288 we toured at the boat show. 3. Between the purchase date and delivery date, Cutwater Boats and their dealership Grand Pointe Marina committed that the boat would be out of the water for a thorough detailing. The boat was to be delivered for launch with a full tank of gas. 4. On April 11, 2026, the boat was scheduled to be launched into the water at Sundog Marina and delivered to me. 5. Upon delivery, it was noted by the company salesman Mike that the boat had been launched into the water weeks earlier. 6. Upon delivery, I noticed significant damages to the boat. 7. Looking at the boat's Garmin GPS history, it was noted by the company salesman Mike Merrill that the Grand Pointe Marina personnel had used the boat extensively throughout Lake St. Clair, including beaching the boat at a lake island. The activities were long enough to burn up half the fuel or about 100 gallons. 8. The delivery team noted the damages in their report, and pictures were taken on-site. Damages included: Upper frame is structurally damaged with the fiberglass cracked and fractured. Both motor propellors are older and damaged. Roof panel fiberglass is cracked badly along the edge. Interior frame is badly scratched and scuffed. Wood trim is scratched and split in multiple places. Bathroom handle broken with loose stripped screws, and the edge of the door cracked. Seat cushion tear. Rod holders missing covers. Rear fold-down seat latch had been struck hard, cracked, and clasp cracked. 9. On April 12, 2026, I contacted your customer service department to report the issues. 10. On April 15, 2026, I emailed supporting pictures and documentation as requested by your team. These events have caused inconvenience and dissatisfaction to me.
