Remember Service is just as important as buying the Boat!!…read more We thought we found a great dealership... our sales guy was wonderful... Service on the other hand.... if I could give a Zero, I would. Sun Ray Marine Service had our boat for 6 weeks. We went to check on it and found that our depth finder was smashed against a rail on their trailer, as we chose pick up and delivery. Then when we got out boat back, the seat cover looked like they just ripped it out of snap. They also installed the incorrect underwater lights, even after I told them in an email on a phone call, and on a list which ones we wanted. We have been trying for over a week now that the one of the owners call us to discuss our issues... NO RESPONSE FROM THEM AT ALL! SERVICE AND RESPONSE AFTER BUYING THE BOAT IS TERRIBLE. You might want to think twice...

We recently bought a boat from Sunray and thought we'd found a great dealer. Lots of promises,…read morebut not carried out. Called Ken Peterson the salesman to say I pulled a hub off trailer sent pictures that it needed work. He said to bring in and after many calls and weeks of waiting "because they couldn't get axels" and they were replacing wheels and tires too, the trailer was picked up. When I put the boat back on the trailer there were two flat tires. Took trailer to trailer repair and was told I needed axles, tires because the ones on trailer were dry rotted , hubs all the things Sunray was supposed to fix. When I called I was told they never said they were going to fix the trailer. Not true Also when we looked at boat it had a nice steering knob. I wanted it back , but they never called back. Not happy with Sunray!

Who, in good conscience, would sell a vehicle unfit for safe operation? Imperial Motor Company…read morewould. This establishment operates as little more than a transient dealership. They acquire used vehicles, perform cosmetic detailing, and place them on the lot for sale without undertaking substantive maintenance or mechanical inspection. I conducted business with Brian, the General Manager. He was accommodating and cordial throughout our interactions. My formal recommendation to any prospective buyer considering Imperial Motor Company is this: perform exhaustive due diligence and define precisely the specifications you require. Should any aspect of the transaction appear irregular, do not expect scrutiny to alter the outcome. Mr. Brian will invariably provide a prompt and superficially logical explanation designed to dismiss concern. I advise you to pause, reflect, and ask whether the condition presented is one you are prepared to accept long-term. By way of example, I purchased a Jeep Wrangler that lacked a spare tire and displayed active warning indicators on the instrument panel. These deficiencies were characterized as minor and easily remedied. However, the dealership declined to assume responsibility for repairs. In the excitement of purchase, such issues may appear inconsequential. In practice, they escalated rapidly. Upon departing the premises, the vehicle experienced complete loss of power on Interstate 75. I reside three hours from the dealership and narrowly arrived home. No consumer should endure severe anxiety operating a vehicle purchased for a substantial sum. A subsequent professional inspection revealed defects numerous enough to warrant immediate trade-in for a vehicle I deemed safe. Before executing any document bearing the designation "AS IS," be absolutely certain you can either accept the defects as presented or possess the financial means to repair them, in addition to the premium pricing charged for vehicles in this condition. When contacted, Mr. Brian stated his intent to "make it right." At this juncture, the only acceptable resolution would be reimbursement for the $4,000 financial loss I sustained when forced to trade for a safe, operable vehicle. The failure to withdraw from the transaction was my error. I mistakenly extended trust that I would not be permitted to leave the lot in a vehicle exhibiting critical mechanical failure, including repeated power loss en route. At 65 years of age, I continue to learn lessons through costly experience. The responsibility is mine. Spare yourself this hardship. Procure your vehicle from a reputable dealership that performs complete service and safety inspections prior to sale.

You are our car dealer; I have no plans on going to anyone else. You helped us when we needed you before, and I knew you would be able to do it again, and you proved that you could. I purchased a 2019 Key Largo Center Console boat from Factory Direct Boat Outlet 3 months ago. Let…read moreme start out by saying the boat itself has been great, the trailer and the customer service are worse then a dumpster fire however. 4 weeks ago, the Bimini top on the boat broke and I called the dealer and was told to bring it in as it was under warranty. Not wanting to take my boat in yet because I had a trip planned, I decided would wait until after my trip to take it in. The following weekend when I was prepping my boat to leave, I noticed that I had no lights on the trailer of my boat and found that the wires were completed rotted in half. Whomever wired the trailer did not use any type of heat shrink to protect the wiring, which makes zero sense for something being soaked in salt water. As I was replacing the wiring myself (because I didn't want the same type of workmanship) I was unable to run a wire down the passenger side of the trailer. Upon closer inspection, it was found that the trailer had been spliced together and the weld ground off to hide this. Might I also note, both inner fender wells came off and both bunks came off. Some where on the highway as well. Keep that in mind, this comes back to play in this situation with the dealer. So I called the dealer and cancelled my trip. I trailer the boat to the dealer and explained to them all the things that was wrong with this boat and trailer. They assured me they would take care of this and make it right. After a week and a half went by I called to check on the progress of the work and the told me it was complete and that I could come pick it up. I asked what they did with the trailer and the salesman stated that Geof Hoffman stated that there was nothing they could do with the trailer, as splicing trailers together is an industry standard. I explained to the salesman that this was unacceptable and asked to speak with Geof. He stated that he was in NY at the time but would have him give me a call the next day. Fast forward another week and half and still no call so I stop in at the dealership to see what is happening. The only person in the office is Geof, which is good because that is who I want to talk too anyways. Upon finding out what I am there for, Geof explains to me that he replaced the Bimini top but didn't have to because it wasn't under warranty. So seeing house my boat is less than 90 days old to me, I question why it wouldn't be under warranty. He stated that because I used the top with the boat under power it voided the warranty. I questioned Geof as to why he would assume that I had done as he suggested and he said "well you don't drive with the top up, everyone does that". I explained to him that I most certainly had not and didn't appreciate his comments. He told me that I should appreciate his efforts and that I could take the boat now. I asked him about the spliced trailer and he claimed that to be a industry standard and that he stood by the 1 year warranty on the trailer and that if I didn't like it, to have my attorney send him a letter and he will forward it to his attorney. I then asked him about all of the other repairs that weren't addressed on the trailer and he stated he knew nothing about them as they addressed with him. I asked him when I could expect that they would be completed and he stated in a few weeks. I explained that this was unacceptable and needed a better estimate. It was at this time the Geof became irritated and began getting frustrated and wanting to get louder and louder and told me to take my boat and get off his lot if I didn't like it. Needless to say, but Geof and I didn't see eye to eye on this and he called the Sheriff's Office because I wasn't going to accept him trying to rip me off. Once the S.O. arrived they looked at the situation agreed they could understand the frustration and ascertained from Geof what my options were with this trailer. Geof stated that I could contact Key Largo and address the trailer issues with them directly but he preferred I let his company conduct the work. The moral of the story is that dealing with Factory Direct Boat Outlet has been nothing short of a nightmare. These people are crooks when it comes to keep their words and standing by the products they sell. They are simply trying to sell you the boat and then not have to deal with you anymore. Geof Hoffman is the most unprofessional business person I have ever come in contact with. Warlock Trailers is whom they state is the builder of the trailer, but each search of the trailer on the internet comes back to Factory Direct Marine and RV. So I have been left to assume that this is their brand of trailer they make, since they will not address where the actual factory is that produces this trailer. Do yourself a favor and buy anywhere else then from this place and stay away from WarLock Trailers. There is nothing positive or good about this place.

Richard Johnson worked hard to get me a great deal on the boat. Now that the boat has been delivered i seem to be having problems with repairs. My trade in has not been paid off. it's been over 20 days. had to send a certified letter and report them to the state. Still not paid. Payment for a boat I no longer own was taken from my account. They have no clue how to set up or wire electronics properly. I spend hours fixing what was done. The gps compass was mounted next to the radar dome and will not calibrate. It has to be moved and the hole in the t-top repaired. Was told the trolling motor would be the correct size, took the boat fishing in 1 foot seas and motor was coming out of the water. Was told by Richard I have to pay extra. It was measured by Richard and was told the longer motor would be overkill, (have proof). The fuel tank is not set up correctly. Was set up as 65 gallon not 110. Calibration is off and fuel gauge will not read correctly. I had made a list of repairs for the boat including gel coat and motor vibration concerns, they had the boat for nearly 2 weeks and most of the concerns were not addressed. I had a planned fishing trip so I took the boat back. They dropped the boat off before all repairs were finished. I hooked up to my truck and found the trailer lights did not work. This was a supposed brand new trailer. I found a broken ground on the flat five connector. The trailer harness was already tampered with and connector was changed. I made the repair at my own expense. The trailer guides were missing that was another expense. The trailer vin I was given in my contract was not the trailer I was given. When I pointed this out they said the boat did not fit on that trailer. I am still waiting for the repairs to be made. It's really sad when you spend that kind of money with a company and this is how you are treated.
