I just moved from Bay Area to Kingsburg and I was looking to smog my car, called and the gentleman was very courteous and even recommend a place where to take my car as I was also in the need of oil change. My visit was shot it took about 20 minutes for him to check my car and get me all the paperwork ready. I will recommend this place to anyone, even if you have to drive a little more is worth it. read more

Being a woman and looking for any kind of auto service shop is hard. I always heard about women getting taken advantage of because they don't know much about cars. I was desperate to find a trustworthy place to get my car smogged and was nervous because I just did not know where to start. I called a couple places and did my research. I received a call back from the owner of this place and I instantly knew this was the place I was going to take my car. He just was so friendly over the phone and once I got there he was super nice and service was fast and great! I will always take my car to Navarro's Smog from now on. Great service! I had called prior to showing up asking about wait times and prices since I had never taken my car in to get a smog check... He was very professional and helpful. What is not acceptable is that he showed up, completely misdiagnosed the issue after a few minutes, collected his fee and left. He said it would take a few days but took no effort to follow up, whatsoever. He blamed my son for not continuing to call him... we fixed the issue ourselves. Meanwhile, this person took umbrage with the negative review and became aggressive with his responses and texts to my son. I'm shocked that yelp allows legitimate negative reviews to be removed... this should be a "mobile battery charger" service and not a mechanic.

Luis the technician at navarros smog made smogging easy. Showed up without appointment and was on my way within under 20 minute. The shop is located in a older side of town. Peaked my head in the waiting room looked nice didn't not wait in there, but in the shop area where I was talking and asking Luis questions while he worked he seemed like he didn't mind. I called on a Saturday morning to see if they had any availability. The man who answered was very courteous and professional and told me that they had one appointment in about an hour and a half so that if I could come in before that he could get my car checked before that. Called in the morning and he said that he would be there at 9:30 asked the type of vehicle said he could test it and it should take about twenty minutes. I arrived just after 9:30 he was ready and was very courteous and professional had my truck tested in about twenty minutes.
