The words "oil" and "vinegar" have a gravitational effect on me whenever I see them, drawing me in with inescapable force, so when I discovered Navidi's during a random afternoon wandering around in downtown Camas, there was no question I would be spending some money here. My wife was busy at an acupuncture appointment nearby, so I scouted the lay of the land, promising the shopkeeper to return with my wife in tow shortly. An hour or so later, I fulfilled my promise, and the both of us spend the next 20-30 minutes browsing, and conversing with the (very pleasant) shop owner. All oils and vinegars are available for sampling, as well as a sizeable selection of salts and seasonings. There are also pasta sauces and noodles, chocolates, olives and other pickled vegetables, mustards, jellies, and similar culinary accoutrement. Among my wife's favorites were several fruit-based balsamic vinegars which, when mixed with soda water, create some tasty, low-calorie beverages that also are great for treating the persistent heartburn and indigestion she was experiencing during pregnancy. Considering my other favorite oil and vinegar shop is a five-hour drive away in Leavenworth, having Navidi's in our backyard is a blessing, and a guaranteed regular stop for us throughout the year. We swung in not really needing anything, but found some great olive oil options, some super tasty salts (try the jalapeño salt), and some great chocolates too! Very nice place when you want great, high quality olive oils and balsamic vinegars. There are many that are infused with other herbs and you can sample what they have at no charge. Staff was very helpful and we ended up getting some oils and a vinegar and pourers that go into the bottles. Worth the stop when in the area. read more

Stopped in to this lovely shop while I was waiting for a friend in Camas to have lunch. It is so inviting and warm. Let's talk oils and vinegars. So many delightful items. I went home with a garlic olive oil, which is so tasty I have used it in my Caesar dressing so far. The one that I bought that I had not used before, pomegranate balsamic vinegar. I have to tell you this is delicious and fantastic. I also used it on a piece of grilled chicken breast. Hey finishing touch. Delicious! The owner of the business is so knowledgeable and very kind. They have small bottles of their items. You can grab one for around eight dollars and try it out at home. Believe me you will go back. It's a great experience. The woman working there was very pleasant and had helpful information to help me find my way amidst the abundant varieties of olive oils and vinegar​s. You can taste as many as you like. My favorites were the smoked olive oil, and the Fig balsamic. I bought 2-ounce​ bottles so I was able to take them back home on the plane. I finally made it here on a busy night during Downtown Sip & Shop. Awesome selection of variously spiced oils and vinegars. I picked up Cinnamon Pear Balsamic Vinegar and Wild Mushroom Sage Olive Oil. What I liked most were the size of the bottles. They come in 2 fl oz, so we can easily use one up and come back for another since they have such a variety. It was only on my way out I saw a freezer to the right of the entrance with lamb meat. Love coming in here! The summer peach, Vermont maple, and fig balsamics are my favorite! I love love love the garlic oil. The women working are always super helpful and I don't find the prices to be unreasonable. Olive oil is expensive even at Safeway. I prefer to get one that I can taste and they have 3 sizes if you find it too pricey but want to take some home. Very fun to take time and try all the flavors. I am always so amazed by what this place has. I never knew how many different flavors olive oil and vinegar can have, especially when you put them together. There are flavors from cranberry-pear, to garlic, to espresso. They offer a few different sizes of bottles, and free tasting. They will happily make different combinations for you to try. During a trip to a local farmer's market, I happened upon this company. Moving to Washington from Utah, I was thrilled to find a good oil and vinegar purveyor. I was even more excited to find they had a shop near my home in Camas. Even though COVID has restricted their ability to refill bottles, the product and customer service is amazing. I bought many co-worker gifts there this year because I wanted to support a local business. They even packaged them up with ribbon and tissue. First class! I've seen some negative reviews for things that have nothing to do with the business - or due to things outside of the owners control. For me, this is a 5 star business - and the Espresso Balsamic alone is worth the visit there. read more

I was approached by a very tall man (Ken-owner) as I entered the QFC in Camas. He told me he and his wife had recently opened a local business and gave me a handout about the biz and asked me to come and visit sometime. I just so happen to be in the area the following day so I decided to take a peek at the store. When I walked in Gabby (Ken's wife) warmly welcomed me in and gave me a rundown of the store and what they had to offer. She had me taste several oils and vinegars...some infused with fruit others had nuts and even a chocolate flavor. She also had me taste several flavored sea salts. After smelling and tasting several things I decided on the chipotle sea salt, roasted french walnut oil, wild blueberry balsamic and a whole fruit blood orange oil. However, everything I tasted was fabulous. I really enjoyed being in Navidi because Ken and Gabby's 2 kids were there and it's clear that this couple are following a passion. I love supporting local places and I think this is a great addition to the Camas community. I would strongly urge people to give this place a look. read more

If there is an ounce of foodie in you it is worth the drive to downtown Camas to sample the ample selection of olive oil, salts, and vinegars of Navidi's. Gabby (owner) guided my wife and I through our world tour sampler before we decided on the 18 year old Traditional Balsamic Vinegar (my favorite), the 25 year old Sherry Wine Vinegar (my wife's favorite), the buttery smooth flavored Hojiblanca Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Spain, and the Mt. Andes Pink Mineral Salt. They also have a decent selection of loose tea, locally baked bread, as well assorted other seasonings and miscellaneous vinegar and oil related accessories. What a great find! Navidi's has a huge selection of olive oils and vinegars so plan to spend some time looking at everything and trying lots of different things. I like that they have 3 different bottle sizes so you can buy a little or buy a lot. In addition to the oils and vinegars, they also sell different flavored salts and sugars, teas, and dried pasta. I ended up buying gifts for my family as well as myself. I purchased a bottle of garlic olive oil, an australian olive oil, a butter flavored olive oil, an 18 year old balsamic vinegar, lavender vinegar, and truffle salt. I found out about Navidi's through a local Vancouver event (The International Food festival) where I got to sample a limited selection of Balsamics and Olive Oils. I love the Raspberry Balsamic so much, I bought one on the spot. I got a card and the next weekend found myself in their store wondering at all the different Balsamic's and EVOO's. After sampling several, I decided on a HOT EVOO and some lamb beef jerky (from a local lamb supplier). I came back the next weekend and bought some Applewood smoked sea salt and some Red Apple Balsamic that was on sale for the Camas days event that was happening. I am always amazed at this store because they have all kinds of different oils and vinegars as well as loose tea, sea salts, breads, various cuts of lamb and even recipes! I used some of the Applewood smoked sea salt and Red Apple balsamic vinegar on some new york strip steaks and they were SO delicious! i would recommend this store to anyone who loves to cook. And yes, I don't buy store bought salad dressings any more. I now make vinegarettes with their vinegars and oils. With so many flavor combinations, I will never get tired of them! Check them out! Never thought I'd find a place like this in dinky downtown Camas, but it's definitely a gem! The staff here is so knowledgeable if you have any questions. There are taster cups to try the different oils and vinegars. Selection is huge, there is a recipe rack, and the staff is eager to exchange ideas for using their product. Disappointing visit today. Took a friend after receiving an email invite claiming fresh bread and specials. Arrived at 11:30 am, no bread to be had and clerk didn't have a clue what we were talking about...then she disappeared into the back for 10 minutes while we helped ourselves. This is not going to cut it if you expect to succeed in Camas. Step up the CS and get some bread in your store consistently. You can only sample so much vinegar and oil before you need some bread to clear your palate.. read more

Divine balsalmic vinegars and oils. I love the lavendar and also the espresso flavored vinegars. Goes well on surprisingly so many things (watermelon, berries, BBQ, and on and on). Bring your bottle back to be refilled and you get $1 off and they also have a punch card for frequent flyers like me. On my last visit (08/05/12) there were no bread samples out. The person working wasn't the owner. She was helpful, but having bread or fruit out is expected in order to sample the many choices here. read more

I came across the Navidis booth at the Farmer Market in Vancouver and purchased a bottle of the Maple Balsamic Vinegar. Outstanding and versatile. When we realized how close we were to their shop in Camas, our family decided to take a few minutes to stop in to take a look around. I like how their shop is set up, where you can easily see whats available and sample to your hearts content. The sales people were very helpful and friendly . I especially appreciate the advice on ways to use and combine the different flavors. We bought several assorted bottles of both oil and vinegars and I expect will be doing some seasonal gift shopping here as well. read more

When touring camas for my honeymoon I stoped by hoping to purchase multiple bottles of unique oils and vinager. The lady working there was very inattentive to anyone besides the customer immediately in front of her. I saw the sample cups and attempted to turn the metal carafe spout labeled with olive oil I was interested in. The oil started coming out very fast and I immediately asked for help while trying to stop it. The woman working there made me feel absolutely horrible when I could not get the spout off and kept saying " oh my god what did you do! Your supposed to use the jars! " ( mind you no where did the jars say tester or sampler on them.) She then said in front of everyone else present , "this is the biggest mess I've seen in the 8 yrs of working here" I apologized over and over and helped clean it up explained what happens and at no point did she even acknowledge my sincere apologies. I finished cleaning it up while she attended to anther customer, threw away the paper towels and placed the cloth on the counter. I left feeling horrible about the interaction. I will not ever be returning due to her horrible customer service and extremely rude inconsiderate response. read more

We ended up buying two different types of fantastic olive oil (what we came for) but what got me really excited was the plethora of flavored balsamics.....all so amazing! Blueberry! Chocolate! Black Cherry! My mouth was so happy! I will definitely be back for refills on the oil and for some of the black cherry balsamic....heaven in a bottle! I live north of Seattle and was visiting a friend in Washougal when we went shopping around the farmers market in Camas. My friend had mentioned this wonderful store that she wanted to check out, so we walked on over. We had so much fun tasting the different oils and vinagears and had a really hard time deciding which one to purchase for the moment.
