I attended Diwali Mela in Mountain House yesterday and saw Nishu's henna booth there. I was intrigued and wanted to experience the culture so I sat down to receive a henna tattoo from her. It was an amazing experience. I was curious to learn more about what hennas mean and how she celebrated Diwali (as I am not a part of the culture) and she took the time to teach me more. Not only was she extremely great to talk to; the henna work was beautiful too! I will attach the design I got so everyone can admire her work. She is very talented. I'm happy I sat down with her!

I am extremely impressed with the quality of work as well as the customer service. I requested for a "simple" henna tattoo since I will be attending a friend's "jago". I'm new to henna tattoo and what I got was so intricate (see photo by plant). Hubby was so impressed with her work. Communication was clear with instructions on how to take care of the tattoo and what to avoid. She even provided the written instructions. The artist explained that she has been doing henna tattoo since 2016 so she has a decade of experience so knows what she's doing. If I had an Indian wedding to go to, I am definitely coming back here and even insist the wedding party to bring their business here. Nishu was absolutely amazing! She was very kind and fun to chat with for so many hours while doing my arms and feet mehndi. It was a great time! Her work is excellent! She took her time and made sure everything was perfect! The details and designs she included were absolutely beautiful and are long lasting (it has been over a week and my mehndi is still showing details)! Nishu is really an artist. I booked her for my friend's wedding henna as a gift, and Nishu was very prompt with replying and easy to communicate with. She really took her time with the bride. She listened to the bride's needs while also making suggestions here and there, especially with creating designs that would accommodate her jewelry. Even after she spent about 5 hours creating intricate art for the bride, she jumped in at the last minute and applied some henna for the groom! I have loved henna and it has been a passion for me since I was a school going girl. Henna craze many a times had even put me into trouble of standing out with hands raised probably or making 4 rounds of the school playground for applying the henna onto my hands. Henna was not allowed in our school. But my deep love and inclination towards mehendi always made me apply henna on my hands and then I use to get punished. The story does not end here. I started taking henna orders right from my childhood.The mehndi madness is still on and with me. Last min I asked nishu if she will incorporate some personalized elements in my mehendi which I should have informed her in advance but she happily incorporated everything and did it beautifully. I had reached out to Nishu literally 5 days before my mehendi event and asked her to apply mehendi to both my mom and mom-in-law along with my bridesmaids. She was so energetic and bubbly throughout the evening and applied beautiful mehendi designs on everyone's hands. All of my family and girl friends liked their mehendi designs.
