I would like to take a moment to recognize María at the Westminster DMV for her exceptional service…read moreand dedication. During my visit, María provided outstanding assistance. She was professional, respectful, and very knowledgeable. She took the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and help me through the process with patience and a positive attitude. Employees like María represent the best of customer service. I truly hope her supervisors recognize her hard work, commitment, and the positive impact she has on the people she helps every day. Thank you, María, for going above and beyond. Your professionalism and kindness are greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Rogelio Manzanarez

I came in to…read moretake my driver's test, but I was told that I would not be allowed to take it because my appointment was not made one hour apart from another appointment. When I asked whether this was an actual DMV rule or whether it was clearly stated on the DMV website, I was told that it was not. If this is a requirement, it should be clearly communicated to customers instead of leaving people to find out after arriving for their appointment. The entire process was extremely confusing. Different employees were yelling different instructions at me about my vehicle -- telling me to move the car, not move the car, drive it, don't drive it, and move it somewhere else. I was given conflicting directions and felt like I was being completely run around instead of being clearly told what I needed to do. When I expressed my frustration and explained to Vanessa that I was getting the runaround and that no one was clearly communicating what I was supposed to do, she responded by screaming at me, "YOU CAN GO SOMEWHERE ELSE" That comment was completely unacceptable, rude, and disrespectful. I came there as a customer expecting basic professionalism and clear communication. Instead, I was yelled at and made to feel unwelcome. The entire experience was extremely disorganized and unprofessional. I also felt that I was treated unfairly and that the interaction had racist undertones, which made the experience even more upsetting. Customers should not be spoken to or treated this way, especially when they are simply trying to understand the process and follow instructions. I hope management looks into this situation and addresses how customers are being treated and how unclear communication is creating unnecessary frustration.

I recently had to take care of a traffic ticket that almost became a warrant for my arrest. I went to see the judge early in the morning and they dismissed my late fine. So i payed the original price, and the judge set me free. Standing in line to pay a fine can be 30 minutes in line. Parking is free here which is a plus. All in all, I hope i never have to come here again.

I dont know if I'd call myself a fan, but as a juror, it's not a completely horrible experience…read more I'm writing all this down because there's a surprising lack of information on here about it. I had rescheduled Jury Duty and carefully calculated myself to report the week of Thanksgiving, hoping to get excused due to the holidays. I *think* this would have worked if I had remembered to check in on the correct day. My call-in day was the day before Thanksgiving. I didn't check in until Friday. That was my stupid mistake. Don't make this mistake. Anyway, when I checked in on Friday, I was given a new juror call-in group. I had to call in on Monday... then Tuesday... and on Wednesday I was requested to come to the courthouse at 8AM. *screams into the void* PARKING: There's free parking JUST FOR JURORS across the street. There are metal detectors when you enter the courthouse. Please don't bring any weapons or anything dumb. AMENITIES: Vending machine, WiFi, work tables and power outlets along some walls, a fridge and microwave for your lunch if you bring one, and unisex individual bathrooms in the jury waiting room. No cafeteria on site... you'll have to get in your vehicle or walk somewhere for a proper lunch. If you make it to lunch, your lunch break is from 12PM - 1:30PM. PROCESS: After the metal detectors, you follow the signs for "Jury Assembly Room". You check in there and get your jury badge at 8AM. You watch an orientation video telling you the importance of serving. Then you wait. Please don't be an asshole and talk on your phone on speaker in the assembly room, it's annoying. Do bring headphones if you hate the sounds of people and want to watch something on your ipad or phone. Once the courts were finally in session, all the jurors were randomly separated into groups of about 75 and sent to courtrooms. This is when the judge tells you the foundational gist of what the trial will be about, and about how long you will be on trial if chosen. From there, about 24 people were randomly selected and asked pertinent questions by the judge and attorneys. Questions like occupation, do you know cops, have you had bad experiences with them, can you in good faith produce a fair and unbiased judgement on the case based on the content of the case. Based on your answers, you will either stay or be dismissed. If a person is dismissed, someone else from the pool of people in the courtroom will take their place. SPOILER ALERT: Just because English isn't your first language doesn't mean you will automatically dismissed. Even the guy who worked graveyard until 5am who showed up at 8am on no sleep AND didn't speak English fluently wasn't dismissed... so you're going to have to suck it up. Sorry folks, we all don't want to be there. If for some reason you cannot serve and are excused by the judge, you are done for the day and have fulfilled your service for the year. You can pick up a note from the assembly room if you need it for work. I think that covers everything. Bring entertainment, headphones, snacks, and hope you don't get called... but there's a good chance you will if you're there.

She is holding a classroom setting. Clapping hands and singing songs for the whole time. When someone was using a cellular phone, the staff immediately went to intervene him. A library should be for reading and keeping the sound at the lowest level. Staff allowed this happening 5 days a week. They did not do anything. I wonder whether they are all deaf.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Tibor Rubin Library! My first visit here was August…read moreof 2022 for their Wednesday Story Time program with the beloved Miss Lindsay. My toddler son and I immediately felt welcomed and nurtured. Our second visit was where I knew that I wanted to make this our home library; after one Story Time encounter Miss Lindsay had memorized who my son was & his name. She treats littles like they truly matter and are special. And her enthusiastic spirit makes each Story Time captivating and exciting! The children's section is thoughtfully designed with colorful decor, small chairs and tables, loads of toys, all types of puzzles, plenty of STEM toys and an extensive collection of books that cater to all ages and interests. They have huge collection of children's books that includes: board books, picture books, early reader books, wonder books (that read to you!) and fun audio books for kids just to name a few. They also have a AWE Learning computer that my child loves! What truly sets Tibor Rubin Library apart from others is how welcome they make you feel. They welcome all patrons and bring a sense of community and importance to all who enter. Their staff is fiercely dedicated and have always gone above and beyond for us. I have received much help and support from their staff, including help from Miss Chloe to help sign my child up for school. They offer a fantastic array of programs and activities tailored to children and families. Story Time is our family favorite and is very interactive and includes music, games, dancing and bubbles. Some Story Times also include crafts or STEM like experiments which my toddler loves. We've also come to many of their Special Events and have been been blown away countlessly by what a "library" can offer. In April Miss Jenny made sure we knew about 'Children's Day' where she had organized a fantastic day supporting children with a Youth Lion Dance Performance. It made an everlasting impression on my child and myself. It was absolutely spectacular! The library also caters to adults and teens in the community. I personally came to the Author Discussion of Arlene L. Walker presented with Miss Chloe and found it incredibly engaging and fascinating. There were so many great questions that lead to meaningful and engaging discussions - where I felt like I gained a new sense of wisdom. Tibor Rubin is a true community based library that creates a sense of belonging. They offer a safe and nurturing space for young minds and for everyone who goes. I love how quaint the library is and how everyone makes it a point to know you and your child. It's a place my child and I feel safe and welcome when visiting. Thank you, Tibor Rubin, for being a beacon of positivity and learning in our community. We are incredibly grateful for all that you do for all us!
