I had the absolute most fabulous time staying at Nawa Wellness Resort this summer! It's a stunning, expansive escape in the deep rainforests of Batangas-- with so many fun things to do, or relaxation to be had.
First off, the rooms and resort ambience themselves are beautiful. The theming blends into the nature surrounding the resort seamlessly, it's honestly like you're glamping, but super heavy on the "glam". One thing to note is that there is a LOT of walking between activities, the lobby, and your cabana/villa. And, most of which is on stairs or a steep hill, so I wouldn't recommend this stay for any folks who require mobility accommodations (mostly because you won't get access to the pool or be able to participate in a lot of the activities, but if you're just looking for a place to sleep then there are rooms at the bottom of the hill by reception).
The main thing that makes this spot special, are the programmed wellness activities that occur every day, and are free to all guests. The schedule is different depending on the day, and the staff will provide a detailed list, and a complimentary sauna & salt room experience. During my 2 day/1 night stay, I was able to attend the sculpt class, breathwork & meditation session, yoga class, and fresh juice demonstration/tasting. I loved every bit of it, and you can tell the staff are knowledgeable in their respective specialties.
Something that really stuck out for me was the spectacular and thorough service. Guests get a dedicated "wellness butler" or attendant who you can sign-up for activities with, get reminders/wake up calls from, and book any additional services with. I booked a massage on my first night, and it was fantastic. I've never had such a relaxing experience, and I felt taken care of in every aspect. I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for some peace in the jungle! read more
