Each spacious suite is intrinsically designed with own balcony overlooking the panoramic Taal. Facilities include the infinity pool and relaxing private lounges. Breakfast is served at the 2nd floor with choices of Western plate or Filipino Food. Other meals were provided by the hotel's catering partner. Activities were held at the Function Hall with a verdant backdrop of nature. A private butler assistance was also provided. This is recommended for company meetings and special events. The function hall is ideal for intimate receptions were entourage and guests can use the hotel for wedding/debut preparations. Parking inside the property can fit up to 10 vehicles. One last note on the hotel front desk. Bells were provided per suite but there must be an in-room telephone for the immediate needs of guests. First, the security guard asked us 10 different questions and it felt like an interrogation. We felt so unwelcome. Already, it was a terrible experience! Since we first spoke on October 5 and upon arrival, not a single person from your sales team reached out or followed up -- despite confirming the appointment for October 17 and assuring me that it was "noted." We waited for 20 minutes in your office, were eventually led to the "blue room" to meet the salespeople, and still waited endlessly. No one seemed to know what was going on. The entire experience was disorganized, unprofessional, and a total embarrassment for what's supposed to be a reputable resort. What makes this worse is that I had been messaging since October 5, trying to coordinate. Had your team shown even a fraction of professionalism, you could've had a full week's stay from guests who have shared stages with Tony Robbins and Oprah Winfrey, using your amenities daily and generating great exposure for your brand. Instead, you've shown a complete lack of awareness, urgency, and business sense. Opportunities like this don't knock twice -- and you've managed to slam the door shut on yours. Truly disappointing.

We were a party of four with friends vacationing from the US. We booked in advance at booking.com.... the hotel was delightful. Clean and spacious. The lobby and the rooms we chose were overlooking the volcano. Of course, when we got there, the steam/ash from the volcano was covering the view. Nevertheless, the hotel has much to offer. We checked in at 2pm. The guests were few as we were allowed to check-in early. Normally, it's a 4pm check-in with a 2pm check-out. After relaxing at our rooms for a couple of hours, we decided to do the SPA. Best decsion we did that day. By the way they have an ice cream 'caritela' at the lobby . You must try the chocnut flavored ice-cream... the avocado too! All four of us truly enjoyed The VEDERA SPA. We did the 60 minute body scrub and 60 minute massage for 2800 pesos each. That was rejuvenating and relaxing. Our skin felt smooth and soft after the scrub and the massage, solid excellence - you can tell the staff are well trained therapist. Not just fly-by-day masseuse. After the massage, we had dinner indoors due to the ash fall. There was simple entertainment with a female singer accompanied by male guitarist. Pleasant tones I say. Even sang our requested songs. Come morning, the buffet was scrumptious. Tiny fried fishes were a favorite at our table. 'Tawilis' I believe. So many food options and they had TAHO!!! My childhood breakfast food...how wonderful was that! The buffet had all-american and filipino dishes. Oh and the steam/ash died down in the morning. Giving us a great view for breakfast. The concierge, counter staff, servers as well as the spa staff were great. Real assets of this hotel. Everyone was in smiles and ready to help at all times. The great landscape and the rustic vibe gives off that laid back nature that you can only experience in the province. What's also great is the cold weather in Tagaytay if you're really sick of the humid and polluted Manila. You won't even need to turn on the AC but you need to bring an insect repellent to shoo away the bugs that might seep through. It's also one of the few hotels that makes you appreciate the Philippine culture because of the interior design and the materials used. It's like staying inside a museum. The place is also perfect for reading because of the fresh air and the nature that you can overlook. Their breakfast is also to look out for. However, it was only a few years after that I was able to see it for myself. We did a wedding at Hacienda Isabella and I must say that I was glad to finally see it. It's a sprawling property reminiscent of Old Asia, with several casitas, a pool, a main house, and a lawn. The vast lawn was where we had the wedding reception and it easily fit 300 guests. I think it could probably fit more. For those who just want a weekend getaway, they have rooms for a reasonable fee. What I liked most was the main house where a long wooden table with equally long wooden benches are, serving as the main dining table in the house where a few rooms are located.

My parents are seniors and were concerned about going to and from the room, so we asked to be moved closer and they happily obliged. The resort sits on a mountain and has a fantastic view of the Taal volcano. It's surrounded by lots of trees and plants. The resort is clean. Many years ago, Estancia Resort Hotel was probably the it resort. However, it's now old and outdated. A family member booked our overnight stay for us, so we didn't know what to expect. When we arrived, the resort looked like a ghost town. I am pretty sure we were the only customers. Our (second) room was spacious and the beds slept comfortably. Though clean, the shower drain was clogged and left standing water. Because of the pandemic, Estancia no longer has a full service restaurant so you have to leave the resort for lunch and dinner or bring your own food. However, they do offer freshly made breakfast and can serve it anywhere you'd like in the resort. We chose to dine by the pool and enjoy the scenery. There's not much to do other than go to the pool, sit in the sauna, and walk around the huge property. If you're looking for a quiet and affordable resort to relax and unwind, Estancia might be the right fit for you.
