Currently I'm not too happy with the filler I got. Shannon was very kind but when I went back for my 2 week post filler appointment I noticed my cheeks were still sunk in, I now have a bag under one eye and I can barely tell the difference from before yet I spent over $1500. She said she had some filler left over in the event I needed it at my 2 week appointment but when I mentioned my cheeks she said it was fine and that we could keep going back and forth on an area as such. I was willing to pay more if I needed it but not pay what I did and then not like it... I am still seeing them for Botox in 2 weeks so I hope to bring it up then and I hope I can get a better experience with them in the future. read more

Can't say enough about Nayak Plastic Surgery and Avani Derm Spa! They took my unevenly filled lips and completely overhauled them. My nurse injector Raquel listened to exactly what I wanted and delivered. She dissolved lumpy and disproportionate filler from another practice and then rebuilt my lips in two sessions over two weeks time. They're soft, even, no lumps, and really enhanced my natural lip shape, while adding fullness to my bottom lip. Overall, thrilled. Love this place. Who is injecting REALLY matters. Let me first start with...this review is based mainly on price Dr Nayak charges and not of the quality of his work. I have followed Dr. Nayak for a couple of years on instagram and I love the results for his patients (or at least the results of the patients he shows). I finally got up enough nerve to send in some photos for some cosmetic surgery to his office (I live out of state). They were very responsive, informative and helpful. So based on that alone I would give 5 stars. Where my lower rating comes in is pricing...I was quoted $135,000 - $140,000 for neck & facelift, brow lift, and eye lift, (doesn't not include travel, hotels etc.)! I thought I was prepared for the cost, since I have been doing research with other Dr.s and talking to friends who have had "work done". Needless to say, I was definitely surprised by Dr. Nayak's quote. Some of the best Doctors in my state charge $20,000-$30,000 for all of that. Honestly I would have paid double to have Dr Nayak do the work, but $135,000 - $140,000 was just not something I wasn't willing to do. I'm not a TV celebrity or movie star, so it's hard to justify that price tag. I'm sure he would say that he is one of the best in the world and maybe he is. The reality is, if he can get that price, good on him! Can't blame him for that. Just thought a review about pricing would be helpful to those who might be researching. If $140,000 isn't in your budget, don't waste your time and look elsewhere. read more

So Nayaks office removes bad reviews for "violations". So that's why you don't see any, so be aware of this. My appointment went well, I waited 2 months to be consulted (which requires a $200 booking fee) and everything went pleasant, at first. Upon booking my surgery his office gave me one surgical date, and one surgical date only. I explained it was around the holidays and that was a hard time for me to ask off from work. At this point Nayak got on the phone and invited me to go to another surgeon if this day didn't work. I felt this was completely irrational and a waste of my time and money. I will gladly go to another surgeon because you need to trust your surgeon and Nayak is not a man I would trust if he can only give you 1 day for your surgery and doesn't understand that we aren't all stay at home trophy wives waiting for our surgical date. I'm sure they'll remove my review for some "violation" again so I'll just keep reposting because I think it's only fair that the negative be shared with the positive so you can make a fair assessment when selecting your surgeon. read more

I had IPL done here last Fall. They had a special in October - very affordable- especially considering other meds pas I've been to for IPL, take 3-4 treatments. Dr Nayak's RN, Racquel, was very knowledgable and explained everything in detail. It only took 2 treatments! There was about a day of downtime, I have fair-ish skin and swell easily. But soo worth it! They also give you the option to have numbing cream-at no additional cost- do it! I've had it with and without...trust me. Top notch place! I had a facial with Stephanie on 4/7/16-amazing! I splurged on the Avani facial, $150.00, and it was so worth it! She did a cleansing, extractions, masque, microdermabrasion, dermaplane, facial and neck and shoulder massages. She explained why these were the best choices for me and answered any and all questions I had. I will definitely be back. Also - I have VERY sensitive skin - so she had to do her homework to make sure I wasn't allergic to anything. My face look a and feels amazing! read more

I waited three months for my appointment. I couldn't attend the appointment since I am in the military and was working flood duty. I needed an email reminder, which I didn't get, even though I have them an email address. The office staff, with the exception of Erin Mueller, was impossible to work with. They couldn't get me back in in a timely manner. No one would talk to me when Erin wasn't at work on Fridays, my only day off of school. I would recommend going anywhere else. No body should have to deal with the wasted time and heart ache that I did. Just know that this practice is fully aware that they don't need your business and you aren't important to them as an individual. read more

I had one of the best massages today with new therapist Sarah Jane! She paid special attention to my legs, lower back, and feet as I'm a distance runner and her technique really helped my soreness dissipate after a recent race. I was impressed that she actually knew how to skillfully work on the lower body, as most of the time massage therapists spend way too much time on the back and not enough time on the major muscle groups. I would highly recommend Sarah Jane for any kind of massage and especially if you are an athlete. Make sure you book her for 1.5 hours as my only complaint is that I had to rush out in time for carpool pickup, and really could have benefitted from a longer experience with Sarah Jane......next time I will definitely budget more time :) read more

On Saturday September 29, 2012 a facial chemical peel was performed at approximately 1140 a.m. Although the staff was very nice the end result was not what i had expected. I have talked with Alli, and she was gracious in explaining every one has a different outcome. Since our conversation, I utilized rubbing alcohol on the facial area, and since peeling has started...around the mouth area...although I was expecting a better outcome, it is not the fault of this institution. I believe the product itself was less effective than a glycolic peel treatment, and personally would not bother with this "banana peel" procedure, but look for something with heavier strength that will tighten the skin, remove sun spots or freckles and help produce collegian. read more

I went to Dr. Nayak for some form of facial filler. After discussing my various options, we decided on Juvederm since it's supposed to last a year. The areas I was most interested in having filled were my forehead and a vertical crease in the tip of my nose. He told me he doesn't do forehead or nose, but thought I would be very happy with having my tear troughs done. I decided to have that done as well as a few areas in my cheeks and jawline. It came to a little over $2,000. Within four days, to my surprise it was gone. I looked into how this could happen, if possibly certain individuals could absorb it at a rapid rate or it could somehow escape through the pores. All the doctors said it's practically impossible and the only reason results like this could occur would be due to flaws in the technique that was used. I'm unsure what to think, but I'm left disappointed. read more

Raquel did an amazing job with my under eye filler. I've been a patient of Dr. Nayak for about 5 years. I have horrible hollows under my eyes and I come in every year/year and a half for a fill. I'm VERY picky about who I let touch my face. That area is very unforgiving and about 7 years ago I had a bad experience and results with another doctor with under eye filler. After researching high and low, I found Dr. Nayak and won't even consider another place even with having to fly in from Georgia. Anyway, the dates that I could fly in this year did not work for Dr. Nayak's schedule, so I decided to try someone else there a try. I was hesitant but I trust him enough to hire the best people. Back to Racquel- she did an AMAZING job. She was super nice, was not in a rush, answered all my questions and was just all around great. The actual injection process was less than 10 min. I was in and out and back in Atlanta within 3 hours. The following days were typical with most of my experience with Dr. Nayak. Moderate/High swelling for 2 days. On the 3rd day I was a little swollen but not where anyone who wasn't studying my face could notice. 4th day all the swelling was gone. I LOVE my results. See you all next year! read more

As a man, not the most macho guy on earth but I hold my own,I appreciated working directly with Dr. Mike. I went in with a few ideas and a budget. I like the way he looked at my whole face and understood where my concerns where and worked (mostly) within my budget. The botox was easy and the results after a few days were very good. The filler around my mouth by my nose was an immediate result and also very good. I went back two weeks later and got a banana peel - it was not a feel good facial - and I was glad for that - I wanted something aggressive. It seemed simple at the time, just a few wet wipes to the face but within two days I felt like a Molokai resident (leper colony for those to young to remember). After leaving my DNA with flaked skin all over town, it looked good - but do not go to work or in public or the CDC will intervene. I also had a few injections under my eyes and there was some bruising (I was warned in advance) and puffiness but after a few days that is subsiding. I have some other flaws, but I think Dr. Mike did a good job embracing those as character and not blemishes.We talked though the need to maintain a certain level of masculinity through the process. I only know ladies who have done this before and they all seemed a little too plastic and perfect. I avoided their suggestions on who to go to. I also felt I wanted a plastic surgeon to do this and not a nurse or technician. it only costs a little more for the doc to administer treatments. With that said, for future touch ups, I think I would feel comfortable with one of the nurses. Only suggestion, and I am not a believer or groupon or other ridiculous discounts, maybe a holistic approach to total treatment and a small discount or added service for repeat visits. I spent around $1,500.00 in total and I think I got that much in value. I feel better and look reasonably better. Perhaps my expectations where realistic. I am thinking through my maintenance costs in the future and will have to decide if it will work in my budget. But I guess I have spent 3 times that on liquor and the same amount on cigs - and neither made me look better, unless it was in a mirror. My understanding is the botox needs touch up every few months (and this was the least expensive service, save the facial). The fillers I should have for a year. Happy Customer JD read more

I was afraid. It is so scary to think of someone cutting on your face. And you see so many horrible stories about facelifts gone wrong. I am so grateful to Dr. Nayak for his gentle manner, his confident (but not arrogant) approach, and for changing my life. At age 63, I was no longer happy with my sagging jowls, my turkey neck and the bags under my eyes. I had heard that a facelift would take 10 years off your looks, but honestly I think it was more like 25. My husband has not stopped smiling and neither have I. Dr. Nayak was not the most expensive - nor the least expensive - surgeon I looked into. But he was absolutely the best surgeon! I really appreciated his attention to detail and the care he provided after surgery. I also liked the fact that he ONLY does faces. I didn't want to trust my face to someone who also did breast augmentation or liposuction. This is the only face I get, and I love it more than ever! I would absolutely recommend Dr. Nayak. I am OBSESSED with Dr Nayak. I had fillers injected into my tear troughs and nasolabial folds. I'm 27 and I had started to notice lines and hollows I just didn't like so after about a year of research and hesitation, I made the appointment and did it! I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER. Yes, you have a $200 consult fee that you pay but it gets applied to any purchase. Yes you have to wait longer if you want to see Dr Nayak but the man is busy, he is that good-give him a break. He made me feel COMPLETELY at ease. Never once did he suggest anything outside of my areas of concern. I simply asked about the 2 areas I didn't like and he gave me options and suggestions. He didn't try to point out my other imperfections and pressure me into getting those fixed as well. Which I truly appreciated because I'm not trying to look perfect like a wax figure, I want natural results. He is gentle and precise and you can bet your bottom dollar I will be loyally coming back to him every year in the future for more :) read more
