I had headaches and seeing blurry and he fixed it. My favorite doctor. My whole family loves him. His office is helpful and supportive. They're no nonsense but still kind and thoughtful. The office atmosphere is homey and comfortable and I have given out many cards to people who have heard about my mom and asked who finally gave her the ability to see again, read again, and legally drive her car. The drive to Chester is long but it is located in the beautiful rural Chester area. All of the staff are attentive, well trained, more than friendly and compassionate. Once in a while you might have to wait longer than you like because Dr. Siwoof takes the time it takes to make a real change in your life!! We don't mind. We've been offered snacks and entertained and the apologies aren't even necessary but we get them anyway. If you or your friends or family have serious eyesight issues that other doctors can't or claim they can't help you with, come to Dr. Siwoof's office. He is one of only 5 Low Vision Centers that really know what they are doing in the country. We have been seeing Dr. Siwoof for 2 years. I can't say enough good about Dr. & Mrs Siwoof, and the staff. This woman is horrid and if her husband was not such an excellent doctor there is no way he would have any patients left. The doctor is wonderful it is a shame that we can not tolerate his wife any longer and will be looking for a new doctor. This last time alone, our appointment was changed twice and when they called to change it a third time we refused. When we got to the doctors office there were other people in front of us so we waited patiently in the waiting room. Once we were put into a room we could hear Rachel Rose telling another customer that the doctor must really feel they were worthy to spend so much time with him. And that normally she wouldn't care but there were some "very demanding patients" here tonight. Excuse me? Aren't all of your patients deserving? And is it demanding to make an appointment and not have to change it three times? Especially when you are making the appointment because the contact they gave you last visit was defective and it is affecting your vision? Then when we went to pay she made snide comments about how we could call the contact company and find another doctor. She is a horrid woman who made all three patients in the office uncomfortable. This is not customer service.

He had so many great reviews that my husband and I decided to go and meet with him even-though we live one hour away. We felt that with so many amazing reviews, we needed to meet with him and decide for ourselves if this is "our" doctor. Making the decision to have cataract surgery was no easy decision. I thought about long and hard. However, since I found that my vision was increasingly getting worse and everything was getting blurrier, to the point that I couldn't see clearly out of my right eye because when I was watching TV, for example, it was in "double vision". After meeting with him, both my husband and I found him to be very knowledgeable, informative, professional and had a wonderful bed side manner. He diagnosed me to have two cataracts, one in each eye. He scheduled me for both surgeries one month apart starting with the worst eye first. Taking a leap of faith, I decided to have cataract surgery and chose Dr. Medford as my surgeon. I was extremely nervous on the day of surgery, but while the nurse was prepping me, Dr. Medford came in to see me and saw that I was quite anxious. He then went on and reassured me with his kind words telling me that he's performed this procedure many times and to try and relax. The surgery was textbook perfect. When I went in for my follow up visit the next day, he told me that it went very well and gave me further instructions on how to continue taking care of the eye so it heals perfectly. I then saw him again one week later, at which point he evaluated me and recommended that I wait to operate on the other cataract because in his words "it was necessary yet". I really appreciated the honesty and care. I highly recommend Dr. David Medford, not only because he is he an amazing surgeon, a kind person, but a very honest doctor as well. It's a win-win. His patients welfare is his primary concern.

Upon arriving at the office, the assistant at the front desk greeted me with a smile, was friendly and helped make check-in a breeze. During my visit, everyone on the staff, with whom I encountered, was so friendly, professional, helpful, and extremely organized. I immediately felt at ease with everyone in the office and appreciated Dr. Fruchtman's assistant for her kindness while helping me prepare for my eye exam. I also appreciated how Dr. Fruchtman patiently listened to my concerns, took his time while going through the examination, then explaining his recommendations in detail including having his wonderful staff prepare my prescription so I could take it with me when leaving. Dr. Fruchtman is a true professional that is kind, very personable, and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend you make an appointment with Dr. Fruchtman when looking for a highly skilled optometrist.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. I arrived 20 minutes early and filled out some basic paperwork. I waited no more than 15 minutes, and a nice nurse took me in the first of several rooms to test my eyes, and finally have doctor Mann check me for glaucoma and a prescription . Because there is new equipment out you don't have to have your eyes dilated anymore. I told Dr. Mann that I could not have my eyes dilated and be able to drive. He assured me it wasn't necessary. This place is in a large medical building across from the Rockaway Mall. There is plenty of free parking. I would definitely recommend coming here if you need an eye exam or have any problems with your vision.

I just got done the cataract surgery on my both eyes during two weeks apart from 08/25 - 09/08/2020. I can't be more happier for the results.
