I was a bit nervous about going to this place after reading all the reviews but I really wanted to give this place a try. More so because my dad is from Nayarit. I ordered couple of things: Birria tacos - Overall good but a bit bland. Needed a little more sauce flavor Shrimp tacos - good Fish tacos - good Shrimp cocktail - Good! Shrimp salad - Good! Menudo -overall good but again a bit bland. Soup needed a bit more flavoring, kind of watered down a bit Definitely would eat here again and try other dishes. read more

At the very moment we walked into this establishment, we were ignored. My family and I were not greeted at all. I had to solicit the attention of the wait staff whether there was open seating or not... I gave it a chance. We ordered and were given ONE single basket of chips and a small cup of salsa for a party of 10!!! No water was offered, let alone ANY drinks... We waited over one HOUR before our food got to the table... My chili relleno was burnt and soggy... My wife's quesadilla was 'Childs size' and we had to request more chips and salsa as we waited for our order. We will NOT be back to this location. Despite the lack of service, the waitress applied $10, automatically, as a suggested tip, way over reaching from what we actually received... Needless to say. The food was mediocre at best.... I have been living in Perris for years and never tried this spot so I thought it would be cool to try it in Father's Day . We went it looked rubbed down but didn't mind because most good authentic Mexican places are little holes in the wall type places that turn out to be bomb . This place is a hole in the wall that should be permanently closed . The lady cleaned off the table which smelled like dirty rag and the menus smelled nasty and dirty . What made us leave was when my daughter pointed out all the huge cockroaches on the floor and wall ,we literally got up and left ! So disgusting !! read more

Worst service ever! We were seated into a dirty table waitress said she would clean it up right away just needed a clean towel to wipe it down. Waited 15 min for them to come clean table from last people who were sitting there. Then waited another 10 min to get our order taken, I ordered taquito plate, was told no they are flautas that the menu was wrong. After waiting 1 hour for food, received my plate with taquitos, beans that tasted like pure lard, cold rice! Really cold rice after you made me wait an hour for my food! My husbands menudo was nasty I could just smell the tribe, he likes tribe so he said it was not too bad but very strong tribe tasting. I would not go back again not even if I was starving! Horrible experience, only went because our house and kitchen is under remodeling so we have no choice but to eat out for now. read more

I was nervous eating here as the reviews aren't great, but to my surprise the food was delicious and tasty . I had the camarones cucaracha and the fajitas with meat, chicken and shrimp. The camarones have a unique sweet and sour sauce that I've never had anywhere like it. The fajitas were full of flavor. Service was 10/10. I would definitely recommend. read more

They had live music. Awesome. Didn't expect that anywhere on a Sunday. We ordered safe meals since it was our first time. I had the campechana which was ok. My wife and youngest had quesadillas. My oldest had chicken and asada tacos (she said the chicken was dry, as is usually the case everywhere else) but the tacos were good overall. I have two gripes. First being that I ordered a coke and got a can, then someone came out of the back holding a bottled coke. Second, it felt like we got a different quality of service because we don't speak Spanish. The waitress acted like she didn't speak a lick of English until we handed her a tip greater than 20% then suddenly she was bilingual. We will be back because they had some good looking molcajetes, hopefully they'll treat us like we pay with money like everyone else next time. read more

I got served a suspicious plate of grilled beef that ended up being some type of cloven-hoofed organ meat, which tasted like something grainy that fell on the floor during an autopsy. My brother had street tacos that belonged in the street.....the gutter! They were full of connective tissue with extra tendons and fat. I would rather walk barefoot through a room full of broken glass and tortured rescue animals covered in fecal matter than go back here! read more

My husband and I went in and waited 1/2 hour even though the restaurant was almost empty. To top it off we ordered a Campechana, which is a mix of sea food in coctel style and it tasted very watered down, the clams weren't cleaned and canned. Al Pastor Taco. onions, cilantro and homemade candy corn tortillas. The pastor was so sweet, I almost thought it was a candy yam taco. Carne Asada Taco. Same topping but different candy flavor across between corn and flank steak and a cup of sugar. Chicken Taco. Topping is the same, flavor was I mix of al pastor mix and asada mix, all tossed into the chicken. I can even start rating the chip and salsa, only because I can't pinpoint what the hell was in it besides sugar. Whatever you do, don't go into the bathroom before or after you eat here if you wanna take the chance that I'm wrong. It's a dirtier then any bathroom I've ever seen. Think horror movie and bathroom in TJ. There was a couple of cute girls here, I have no idea why, and they seemed to like the food. lol Perris girls, I'm sure craigslist misses all of you, I know I do, lol. The state of "Nayarit" in Mexico is known for their amazing sea food. It's their speciality.... BUT the food here was absolutely awful and horribly overpriced. Please do not come here I beg you. The food tasted like salt and cheap powdered seasoning. I paid nearly $50 for what I assumed was a lot of food, but when I got home both containers were 90% empty! There was about 5 shrimp, a clam, and a bunch of leftover trash. My guests and I were upset and laughed at how little food they put in 2 giant aluminum containers. I can't believe I wasted $50 for this abomination they call sea food. I also ordered tacos on the side and the asada meat was dry and pale. Possibly old and reheated in a microwave. read more

They have way to many tables in that place and men with no shame. Got 2 beers for $15 plus a bottled water. Had to get up and ask security where I could pay my bill and was told he also took other forms of payment. I shoved him away from me and went inside that's where everyone was at. My son and I stopped by because there was quite a few people there, it looked like a hole in the wall spot. "Usually those are the best places" As we walk in nobody was there to greet us so I stopped a waitress asking if we seat ourselves she said yes, so we grab a table outside because inside was too hot. The staff was polite and nice once they noticed we were there. We ordered green enchiladas w/ rice and beans and 3 Birria tacos a coke and ice water. The water came bottled, perhaps a way to charge for water! "Whatever"! The Birria tacos were dry and needed flavor, the enchiladas were drenched in crema and took away from the flavor of the enchiladas, but decent. Beans were close to a purée, rice seemed dry. It was mediocre. They had a DJ that started playing music just about the time we finished thank god. Because that music was so loud, like ridiculously loud and we were outside by the street. I can imagine the people under the patio next to them. They must need ear muffs. After that we didn't wait for the check we went inside to pay to get the heck outta there. The bill was $27 for two. I felt overpriced for what it was. Most likely won't be back due to other competition in the area. Also there was this Securtity guard kept walking around dressed in camouflage with a bullett proof vest, I wish he was a waiter we wouldn't have sat for 23 mins to get our order taken. Also they looked like they were about to start the grill up outside because they brought 4 bowls filled with lemons and onions etc. that sat outside uncovered for at least 15 mins and stayed uncovered when we left. I've been to this restaurant about 3 times now. The food is decent. I ordered tacos de asada and lengua and they were bland, so I wouldn't recommend tacos. They didn't have green salsa for the tacos de lengua. That was disappointing. I've ordered some caldos and some are pretty good, some are very salty though. They do have great flavor, but they definitely need to lay back on the salt. The first two times I went in to pick up my order I was greeted by an older lady. She was the sweetest! Very polite, great customer service and made me feel welcome and at home. I recently went in to pick up an order and there was a younger girl working there and she was so rude! From the time I called in my order she was rude. I should've canceled and gone elsewhere but I thought maybe she's busy, even though that's no way of acting, but I still ordered. I picked up my order and it almost seemed that she was upset I was there for my order. I was shocked by her attitude. I know this is a small business and I support small businesses, but I will not longer spend my money at this place. That lady needs an attitude adjustment and a refresher on customer service. read more

Here on a Sunday Valentine weekend. Very well decorated, greeted with a smile, was seated right away. Drinks followed (coffee) ordered food and came out very quickly. Chilaquiles plate was delicious. Wuevos ranchores were ok. The flower tortillas are delicious. A great breakfast experience. read more
