    A huge flying roach

I'll give them one star because the property is affordable and is well maintained on the outside. The parking is horrible the office staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. Maintenance is ok but be home when they come or your problems won't be solved. I'm on year 2 here and I hope this is my last year. They are developing new establishments in the area and that's a plus however the surrounding areas are extremely dangerous! My neighbors were older so it was mostly quiet. It's ok for a starter apartment. Also beware of the roaches

Dec - end of Jan. '24 - Tub leak that was not fixed for 2 months. My sister sent 9 Emails before contact DOB.

On behalf of my sister who has told me that her ceiling is still hanging, even though the damage was reported a week ago. She has sent 4 emails and has inquired once in person. My sister is still trying to be "peaceable" I am so angry, I am so tired if them treated my sister so horribly. I don't understand how the Property Manager gets away with treating tenants like they are trash, leaving them to live under these type of conditions. My sister is so frustrated, she is dealing with other personal issues and doesn't feel like going through this and shouldn't have to. If you are looking for housing that value their tenants, respect their tenants, care about the welfare of their tenants, if you are looking for experienced, professional, compassionate, friendly, approachable adults who run a very large community of apartments with concern for their leasing tenants, don't move to Naylor Gardens. If you are looking to purchase a unit, you're good, they will take care of you. This place is run by high level ratchet thinking and behavior women and the Board Members are their teachers. They don't care about their leasing tenants, only the owners.

From the friendly concierge to the management team, all have taken steps to make sure our move-in was a smooth process. The parking garage is easy to get to via the same elevator that takes us to our apt floor. You are also steps away from the grocery store (Trader Joe's). In fact, you don't even have to go outside to get to Trader Joe's. I would highly recommend getting a tour of this place like we did. We fell in love with this place and we were able to pick the exact apt we wanted.

I had a horrible experience with this leasing office. I applied to rent an apartment that was…read moreadvertised online. Once I applied and paid a deposit, the leasing manager started giving me conflicting information on the move in date. Several weeks later, she stated that the tenant did not want to move so they were not going to honor the rental deposit agreement. I still have not received my deposit back. I found the management to be dismissive and unprofessional. They left me in a horrible position and couldn't explain why the tenant who terminated their lease could remain in the apartment even though they took my deposit. They offered other apartments that were smaller or more expensive. They took my deposit and after I asked to see the apartment, they promised to let me see it so I would not cancel my deposit. They never scheduled a time for me to view the apartment as promised but suddenly said the "tenant withdrew their notice." The tenant had effectively terminated the lease at that point. I still have not received my deposit despite them saying they expedited it and sent it overnight.

Staff: This review has been a long time coming I have lived…read morehere for 21 years. I wanted to continue to work with management however since 2012 it's been the same sour service. It's my basic right as a tenant and according to WC Smith, customer service is Ridgecrest Court's best amenity. That's definitely a lie!!! Hopefully, management can benefit from the same constructive criticisms it's been receiving all along. Long story short, I don't love where I live, management is arrogant and very dismissive check out what some of the other reviewers are saying. You'll see management complaints, roach and mice infestation complaints don't ignore them when making a decision to move here. Especially, if you can find somewhere better. Reviewers are saying things like "avoid management at all costs" and I agree but it is impossible to have a happy life with current management. Another reviewer referred to the man at the office as a "dreadful human being" and another stated "he can be flat out rude" yet another reviewer stated "staff talks down to customers like children" and I definitely agree. What you will get is a newly renovated apartment, however, it may be next door to someone who possibly has mice and roaches crawling everywhere. One reviewer stated they caught at least 10 mice. The mice and roaches are in the walls, ceilings, radiators, and coming out of the light fixtures. What management will tell you is the exterminator comes every Wednesday don't fall for it. It's just a band-aid to ignore and pacify, the real problem and avoid being sued. It is a violation of the leasing agreement and they need to be held accountable, for getting these pest infestations under control, both inside and outside the buildings. When you first move in management will sweet talk you and practically kiss your butt to get those good reviews. They will cater to you at the drop of a hat (this will work in your favor). So that they can drown out the negative reviews about them on this page. They are not all bad and have interesting personalities but their level of professionalism and customer service is severely lacking. This office had really great non-managerial staff in the past, but if their customer service was top-notch I knew they wouldn't be around for long. They all find new jobs making more money, the excellent staff never stay too long. Noise: The walls are very thin and you can hear everything, like your neighbor, talking, coughing, screaming, cursing, their tv, music and adult activities. It can sometimes sound like they are in your house. Having noisy neighbors will ruin your peace. It's been a problem in the past but it can be tolerable depending on your neighbors. Grounds: The grounds are visibly pleasing, kept clean, and maintained well. Sometimes neighbors throw trash, spit, leave cigarette butts, beer cans, food, and even dead mice on the front porch and in the hallway. But for the most part, they are kept clean. Safety: There are police that patrol the property. I guess I feel somewhat safe, the police seem to be there to protect management from dissatisfied tenants and write tickets/tow. And to make sure things don't get out of pocket at the rental office. They don't do much of anything else people still loiter, and sell drugs, despite their presence. Something is better than nothing they are getting paid. Neighborhood: Two Metro stations are nearby, the Giant grocery store, banking, and small take out restaurants. A bike and walking trail at Oxon Run Park is not too far. T The Arc, YMCA, and Boys and Girls club. Close to major highways. Maintenance: Sometimes they cut corners or don't do a good job. However, they do a satisfactory job most times. They're overworked and possibly underpaid men. I spent a lot of time learning how to do stuff myself because my apartment has not been updated in over 20 years, and with the number of repairs that needed to get done, I could tell they were annoyed. I was having to have them do the same thing two and three times. Like wall repairs, caulking baseboards, and stuff like that. They jump to get the new renovations done but don't want to repair/upkeep older units.
