The pattern of the flooring involved 3 different sized wood planks (3", 4" and 5"). While it took several months before all the wood finally arrived, Luis was able to install, sand and stain all three bedrooms (and closets) in a week's time. After 2 months of trying to get a straight answer and resolution from the original contractor, I decided to look elsewhere. I found J & C Flooring on Yelp, a local family-owned business. The experience with J&C was quite the opposite: excellent communication, fast response for quote, competitive pricing, very knowledgeable, and the floor was repaired quickly and correctly. I am very pleased with the whole transaction and the results; I feel like a valued customer. Without a doubt, I will reach out to them again if I have more flooring needs.

Was given a quote after numerous times asking for it. When trying to arrange to have other items repaired in home and schedule installation, they just vanished. This is very unprofessional behavior, especially since I have a year's warranty on my flooring. And if something happens to my flooring within that one year timeframe, who do I contact if they are not communicating with their customers? Very poor communication! Very unprofessional behavior.

David was extremely communicative about the timing and plans, so we always knew what would happen next and what we needed to do. His demo crew worked quickly and cleaned up very well. His craftsmanship was evident throughout. The corners line up. The grout lines are clean and consistent. The aesthetics are lovely, and the practical functionality of the bathroom is outstanding. He had to solve for a couple challenges, most notably that the new flooring was thicker and thus created a disparity with the entrance to the master closets in the bathroom and to the master bedroom. His solution was elegant and well done. My morning showers now feel like I'm at a spa. We love it! By the way he and his wife are lovely people and a pleasure to work with.
