Part of the contract was that after the first 18 months, Blue Raven was to send us a monthly chech of 43.94 to help with interest on the loan payments. The first year was fine but for the past year I have had to call at the end of each month to ask for my check. I am supposed to recieve them during the first week of the month. Every time I call I get the same answer, "it has just been approved and will be out within the next week". I did not call one month just to see what would happen and I never recieved that check. This is not the same company, (morally), I started with. There is no way I would recommend Blue Raven, Sunpower or whatever they call themselves now to anyone. They are getting a lot of advertising from me but it is not the kind they would like. I put my 2 cents in anywhere I can, with friends and neighbors, blogs even public bulliten boards.

We started the process in late August after confirming the rebate would end December 31st. These guys did everything they said they would do. Most vendors were booked through the end of the year but these guys took care of business. My PM Rana Mehmood and the site team lead Abraham were A1 professionals and very courteous even when I was freaking out over the holiday crunch. I really appreciate the overall service, the fair quote vs some of the competitors that came in way higher with their qoutes. And I love my solar energy and my free EV fuel.

I signed on early December hoping for the Duke rebate, it was a lottery, so I did not get upset because I did not receive it. It was bloody cold in January and the guys were on the roof installing the panels. Next was the hardware on the side of the house, I chose to buy one battery so if the electricity went out I could at least have lights, fridge, tv, internet. Maddie was my contact person and she was nice and worked hard to keep me up to date on what was next. The only thing I regret was I was not home when it was turned on, this is such a BIG investment until I really wanted to be here. Covenant overcharges and under delivers. A year ago, we signed with Covenant Solar based on their slick sales pitch. Just 3 months in, we were already not seeing the "savings" we expected. Convenant said that the ROI needed a good year to manifest based on seasonal production and usage fluctuations. This month we are now a year with their system, and we are paying $150 MORE PER MONTH in utility expenses than we were before solar! Every time I talk to Convenant (which is difficult now, sine they already have my money), they "confirm" that our system is producing as designed. That may be true, but the amount they charged for the system, we've since learned, is outrageous! I highly recommend that you stay FAR AWAY from Covenant Solar. I get it that this review could be written by a competitor, so don't take my word for it. Shop around. And choose any company OTHER than Covenant.

I really loved working with Micha, and his expertise was the reason I ended up picking Sun Dollar. The job took only a few days to complete installation. Everyone on the staff was very polite and respectful to our house. They even came back out to paint a conduit black to match my roof. I ended up getting a 9K system, and I'm already producing very close to that in the winter. We'll see how things go in the summer, but so far they've delivered on what they promised. Overall, I had a wonderful experience. I would highly suggest Sun Dollar Energy to anyone who wants quality work and outstanding customer service.

I got the Tesla Charger installed by Yes Solar and the reason I went with Yes Solar was, they are…read moreTesla Certified and the cost difference compared to uncertified installers was not much. The uncertified installer was not going to take town permit and said will use 50A breaker compared to 60A tesla suggests to take full advantage of their chargers. So it was no brainer to go with Yes Solar. They are very professional and meticulous in their work. Firs they will come and inspect the location and gives an estimate. Once you approve it they will start with town permit and procuring the 60A breaker which was a special order and took some time to arrive due to supply constraints. The permit took more than a week, but it was worth the wait and gives me confidence that I followed the NEC code. I dont want to take chances with electrical work. On the installation day 2 installers came on time and did a wonderful job, everything according to the code. My car now charges at full 48A Tesla rated 80% of 60A breaker. Getting 43 miles per hour charge. Very happy with the work and suggest Yes Solar for anyone looking for quality Tesla Charger installation

First, no matter who you speak to over the phone, they cannot explain to you any particulars about the "free" program. They'll always HAVE TO send a representative to your home to explain things to you. That's their bread and butter, yet that's where they fail hardest in my opinion. I relented and agreed to a meeting. However, I ended up having to cancel via email. I received confirmation of said cancelation. The next day while I was away, I got a phone call from a gentleman who said he was waiting at my home. So, nobody from work told him I had canceled. I rescheduled for days later. Again, I confirmed via email for a 4pm meeting. At 4:30pm, I called the company to see where my rep was. She contacted him while I waited and said he wasn't told to come out to my house. So, not only was my time wasted (and HIS, the first time) but they're not very good at communicating. Especially with each other. I wish them the best, but I cannot recommend them under any circumstances. A.

I signed a contract to add a battery in September 2022 and there have been multiple delays and missed scheduled dates. It is now April and still getting excuses and scheduled appointments missed. I have asked multiple times to speak to a manager and this request always is denied. My solar panels have not been operational since January. The staff managing the project do what they can but lack support to get issues resolved. The managers do not care about the customers and let the staff deal with the upset customers as myself. If you are planning to go solar, go somewhere else.
