I got the Tesla Charger installed by Yes Solar and the reason I went with Yes Solar was, they are Tesla Certified and the cost difference compared to uncertified installers was not much. The uncertified installer was not going to take town permit and said will use 50A breaker compared to 60A tesla suggests to take full advantage of their chargers. So it was no brainer to go with Yes Solar. They are very professional and meticulous in their work. Firs they will come and inspect the location and gives an estimate. Once you approve it they will start with town permit and procuring the 60A breaker which was a special order and took some time to arrive due to supply constraints. The permit took more than a week, but it was worth the wait and gives me confidence that I followed the NEC code. I dont want to take chances with electrical work. On the installation day 2 installers came on time and did a wonderful job, everything according to the code. My car now charges at full 48A Tesla rated 80% of 60A breaker. My husband drives a Tesla and wanted a 240V outlet installed in our garage for home charging. We found Yes Solar Solutions on the "Find an Electrician" part of Tesla's website. After reading reviews and asking for quotes from four other electricians, we thought Yes's pricing hit the sweet spot: not too cheap to think, "Hm, sounds shady" and not expensive enough to yell, "GET OUTTA HEAAAAAAAA." After the initial response email with the pricing range, we provided photos of our garage to get an accurate estimate. Lucky for us, our installation was straightforward, so we ended up on the lower end of the range. Email communication leading up to the installation was clear, which we appreciated. We knew the electricians' names coming over and what to expect from the city inspection (which they set up themselves) afterward. It's been 3 months since our Yes Solar Solution solar system installation and we are still very satisfied! We purchased 30 panels and a Tesla battery. Even in December and January (with the shortest sun days) our Duke Progress Energy electric bill is just basic charges that everyone pays, no KWH usage with Net metering. I cannot in good faith recommend Yes Solar Solutions. The communication throughout the process has been terrible except for the initial sales pitch. I reached out to them based on their good reviews on Yelp from the Tesla website. The install quoted with Yes was 3000k higher than the other two electricians we received quotes from. Ben Phillips made up all these reasons why our build out would be difficult which was refuted by other electricians. I was planning on considering going full solar with this company. I'm glad I held off to start with a much smaller project as I would not trust them with a larger one. read more

We contracted Yes Solar to install our EV charger. They were not the lowest quote we received. They couldn't do the install within two weeks and then my schedule was busy so we scheduled it for June 2. on June 1 I was advised they had to reschedule because their crew was sick. We rescheduled for June 8 starting between 8-10. The crew didn't show up until 2pm. The install crew was very conscientious and did nice work. they were done by 4:30. Yes Solar did an excellent job. When I called to request a quote/assessment for EV charger wall mount installation, a consultant was available next day. It was easy to approve the same day quote - 2 options were provided for cost efficiency. One approved digitally, the program manager engaged right away. I will add that before approving, the consultant Juan was able to ensue a timeline estimate that met our needs. The permit was quick - they have no control of that but for anyone looking to install a wall mount, it was roughly 2-3 days for Cary. Then it was a function of project installation and the wait was shy of 2 weeks. For anyone with an EV, not having a charging system at home knows that it's a pain to have to go to a supercharger and wait regardless of charging speed- plus there are only 2 Tesla superchargers in Cary no where near where we live. We were thrilled to have the work done on time and the wall mount works well as expected. Also love that it's easy to call and speak with any of the staff from Monica in the office to Emanuel our project manager. In this day and age where automated recordings and do it yourself digital experiences prevail, I really appreciated that if needed, I can call and directly speak with someone - versus going from prompt to prompt. Although I use Yelp occasionally, I have never written a review before . However, I'm making a special effort as I was overwhelmingly impressed by the entire experience with Yes Solar. Everyone with whom we were in contact was knowledgeable and highly professional. Their organization was amazing; we were kept appraised at every step with regard to what we should expect. We got other estimates and Yes Solar was very competitive with other providers - but also offered much more information and professionalism. We got the very distinct impression that solar energy is more than just a business with the people that work at Yes Solar; they seemed very committed to providing an optimal experience and clearly believe in what they're doing. Our system has been functioning for over a week now. It has exceeded expectations and is generating even higher amounts of energy than we anticipated. Moreover, we have had several torrential downpours and there has been no leaking of the roof, which is always a risk when work is done that requires roof penetration. The craftsmanship of Yes Solar is exceptional. The team that installed our system was very business-like and highly professional in addition to being friendly. At every turn the office kept us posted on what was happening. When we needed our local utility to install the bi-directional meter as the last step before turning on our system Yes Solar was helpful in assisting us even though it wasn't really their job at that point.
