I live in Florida. Which has only 5 Authorized Rolex Dealers in the state. 18 months ago I reached out to the five dealers, to express my interest in the Rolex SS Submariner Date Only one, of the Five Dealers, had the courtesy to respond to my text from the Rolex website. That was Hamilton Jewelers, and to my surprise it was a Ms. Cassandra McBride who was their Rolex liaison, located in their main Store in Princeton, New Jersey. I followed up with a phone call to her , at the Princeton NJ location It was a very delightful and informative experience . Ms. McBride reviewed my information and explained to me , all the great details about the watch and it's current market availability , but assured that my interest in the watch would be noted and would keep me informed. I told her I frequently visit New Jersey several times a year. On, one trip I went to the store and personally introduced myself to her, had a very nice informative and friendly conversation with her, a very nice customer service experience . I would during the 18 months, text her to reaffirm my interest, and she would always reply quickly , reassuring me, and expressing hope for good news in the future. On December 3,2025, she texted me. And asked if I was still interested in the SS Submariner Date, ironically I was in New Jersey for a social event. I called her back , and reaffirmed my interest, and we laughed that I was in New Jersey. She said she hoped to have good news in the upcoming year. The next day she called and to my surprise said the watch was available. I was ecstatic, we made plans for me to come to their Hamilton Jewelers store in Princeton on the 5th of December. At that time she made me a wonderful presentation of the watch, explaining all the details. It was like Christmas with an old friend. My dealings with Ms. McBride and the Staff at Hamilton Jewelers, was a wonderful experience. The Extraordinary Customer Service, I experienced with Ms. McBride and Hamilton Jewelers, is very rare these days, and I will not forget it. read more

They replaced a batter in a vintage Movado watch and didn't reseal it properly, it now has moisture under the crystal and has stopped working. I've made multiple purchases at Hamilton Jewelers in the past and couldn't be more satisfied with the service that I received every time. I worked with Karen on my first Rolex watch purchase at Hamilton and it was such a pleasant experience. Karen and I met about 8 months ago and talked about Rolex watches and I shared my wishlist with her. We kept in touch over the months and surprisingly after few months she reached out to me and let me know that she was able to secure one of the Rolex from my wishlist :) I was out of town when Yacht Master arrived but Karen held it for me till I got back. While me and my wife have been purchasing items at Hamilton Jewelers in Princeton for many years (that also dates back to my parents shopping for our family), I had to share our most recent experience with Peter Dunn. After 10 years of marriage, my wife wanted a new ring setting. She had a clear idea of what she wanted but there was nothing in the display cases that matched what she wanted. Upon visiting with Peter (who we have worked with many times prior over the years), he simply listened to my wife describe her ideal setting, he drew it on a Post It note. After just a tweak or two, he said, "no problem, we can make this for you". About 6 weeks later, the completely custom designed ring arrived, it is beautiful and she is very happy. There is something very special about Peter. Of course, he's great at listening to and consuting with clients that are looking for high quality jewelery and watches. He also has the product knowledge to efficiently guide people in the right direction. Hamilton Jewelers and it's entire staff are a class act. In the summer of 2020, I took my Rolex Datejust to them for a repair, and whilst there, asked to put my name on a list for a Submariner. They told me that it would take about two years to source one for me. Anyone in the market for the Rolex at the time knows that A. this was a conservative estimate and B. it still would have been unlikely for an AD to sell one to someone without a purchase history with them. In January of this year, Diane emailed me to ask if I was still interested, and I replied in the affirmative. My husband and I hadn't been into Hamilton in a while, but I'm looking for a very specific Tag Heuer watch for my husband's upcoming birthday, so we stopped in yesterday afternoon. We've always had great service at Hamilton and they have a huge watch selection, so I was hoping to purchase the watch if it was in stock. Not only were we not greeted, we were outright ignored. It was bizarre - by the time someone asked if we were being attended to, and I said no, and someone was sent to work with us, my husband was over it and declined help. This was over 5 minutes after we first entered the store, which was almost empty, with multiple employees milling about. I said hello to multiple employees and got back a strained smile and that was about it. So by the time someone was assigned to help us, we were over it. (As a side note, The store is newly renovated and is significantly larger than it was even last year! The store can sometimes be busy especially during weekends or before major holidays, so an appointment always helps)   Last year, I was looking to commemorate a special occasion by purchasing my first Rolex. As many may already know, Rolex watches are in very short supply globally. Most other Rolex authorized dealers in the NY/NJ/PA area would not even give me the time of day, let alone add me to any waitlist. Hamilton Jewelers was the exception. Kyle (my associate at the time) was honest, transparent, and straightforward about the waitlist process. I never revealed to Kyle that I was looking to celebrate a special occasion with the watch; I only told him that I was happy to wait. Regardless, Kyle treated me with the utmost care and respect. He patiently informed me that although these watches are in very high demand Hamilton Jewelers does the best they can to be as fair as possible when it comes to allocations. Impressed with his professional courtesy, I went ahead and completed the "registration of interest" form. My initial visit with Kyle left such a good impression that I also returned multiple times later in the year to purchase gifts for Mother's Day as well as wedding gifts for close friends. Along with Kyle, I also worked with Kristin and Diane. Each time the experience was superior to any other Jewelry store or Rolex Authorized Dealer I have ever encountered. I would like to emphasize that at no point did I ever feel pressured to purchase anything. Hamilton was once upon a time a place with a reputation for quality and service by family history but now has lost its way by the inherited. Remember, the tail follows the head and today the employees snoby, disdainful, elitist, smug. pompous and more attitude is sickening to say the least. My 25 yr son purchased a $2,000 necklace and was treated this way and after purchase. He called the sales person what she deserved a "B" word which he shouldn't done. He should have just, not patronized the establishment. My understanding is the owners back up the employees which I am all for however, the real question is why did the customer feel the need to say this if it were not true. I have personally been in the establishment myself and never purchased because I felt this unwelcoming feeling. Bottom line is it seems that the current operators have become to big for their britches and more important not good people. My son, is building a very successful business himself and would have purchase jewelry over his lifetime I imagine $200,000 but I fairly certain they don't care! read more

I love shopping at Hamilton's and though there are other choices around especially as both NYC and Philly are so close, Hamilton which is a family owned business always goes above and beyond with their service where you are met with utmost professionalism and warmth. If you are looking for something special, I would especially recommend seeing Lauren Tischler who honestly is the reason I shop at Hamilton. She is knowledgeable, incredibly friendly and never pressures me just to get a sale. I will only go to her to purchase watches or special jewelry pieces. They also had in their showcase several other Rolex's, Patek's etc. which even large stores in NYC did not carry. ****Update**** I did receive a phone call from someone at Hamilton Jewelers. The sales tax on gift cards issue happens to be an error. They will fix that issue. Nevertheless, ordering watches from HamiltonJewelers.com is still pointless. No guarantee that your order will be fulfilled. I just finished calling some of their competitors around the US and none of them sell anything on their website that they can't fulfill. Those competitors are Reeds.com, CHPremier.com, ExquisiteTimepieces.com, WatchesOfSwitzerland.com, Tourneau.com, LittleSwitzerland.com. Some of these other authorized dealers stated that they would fulfill the order eventually. It would take some waiting. But none of them sell anything on their website that they can't fulfill. I guess it's about having better inventory management software so that it benefits the business and the customer by not wasting someone's time. ****End of Update**** DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING ON THEIR WEBSITE, ESPECIALLY A WATCH. If there is one thing that I want someone reading this review to get, it's that ordering on Hamilton Jewelers' website is completely futile and worthless and a waste of time and a lie. So, I ordered two entry-level luxury watches on their website. The orders went through and I received automated confirmation emails. Then out of nowhere, two days later, I received an email saying that my orders will be cancelled because the watches aren't in stock. Why is Hamilton Jewelers selling watches that they don't have or can't order for their customers? These timepieces aren't high end and all the other ADs will order it on behalf of their customers. Maybe they should have a more accurate website, in terms of inventory. Second, they shouldn't wait two days to respond to someone's order. It goes to show you the quality of their customer service. Second warning: DO NOT BUY GIFT CARDS FROM THEIR WEBSITE. They are charging customers sales tax on gift cards and another sales tax on the usage of the gift cards. This is a big one so I had to report them to the NJ Division of Consumer Affairs. I hope no other customer has purchased a gift card on their website because they paid a tax that they shouldn't have paid. When I pointed this out to Yvonne Eng, a sales associate, she laughed it off. Their business practices are truly questionable and associated brands should do a more thorough investigation into their treatment of customers so that it doesn't tarnish the reputation of the brands they represent. read more

We even went outside together to look at the sky dweller in natural sun light, there were no high pressure sales tactics. First Class From Start To Finish. They had a welcoming presence I was on a very short time crunch but we made arrangements to possibly purchase a yachtmaster for my wife. Hamilton is certainly a Princeton institution having served the town and college community for many years. Whether management has changed or the times have, it is difficult to know. Needing a repair, i stopped in and was quickly "processed". Then no word from Hamilton. Finally calling several weeks later, I was told what the cost would be and immediately approved the repair. Then no word again. I called multiple times, needed to leave messages since the reapir department never answered and no return call from my multiple messages. Finally I called again and rather than being transferred to the repair department, I spoke to the person actually answering the phone. After listening to my litany of nonresponses, she found the record on the computer and said she would check and call back. I ended the call by saying I doubted she would call back. That was indeed the case. I was also contemplating the purchase of a watch but based on my experience with Hamilton, I will shop elsewhere and look for other retailers for repair services. I have a Tissot T-Touch that needed a battery replaced. I also wanted to be sure the watch was re-waterproofed. I could send it back to Tissot, but had an issue with them not sending me back my watch last time I sent it in for service. Tissot is in Secaucus and currently not accepting walk-in's due to COVID, but recommended Hamilton Jewelers. I called them last week an spoke to Eva in Service and we stopped in last Sunday with my watch. She was polite, helpful and understood why we came to them vs sending it back to Tissot. She took pictures of my watch, which were included in my order and assured me I would have no issues. Went back today to pick up the watch and it runs like new again.
