Jeff was punctual, so professional and his quote was exactly what we discussed. Sylvia in the office is amazing. Jesse and his crew were punctual, professional and did flawless work. The owner, Ryan, took the time to follow up to make sure I was pleased with the work. Im so grateful to all of you for my organized garage!! 5+ stars!

I promised that I'd come back after the pantry review to write another one for the garage work, and…read morehere it is! Our initial experience with Closet & Garage Remedy was actually when I decided we needed to get all the junk off the floor of our garages. They had become a dump zone, and I thought I just needed overhead rack storage. So I contacted a few overhead storage people, they came out, and - long story short - it turned out not to be the solution for us. I ended up researching wall-based storage systems, and CGR was the first company to schedule a visit. Jeff came out to measure up and show us options. As we talked it through, we saw that we had other needs that could be addressed: putting the freezer somewhere sensible, getting rid of the mish mash of plastic shelves, cabinets, and shoe racks we'd amassed over the years, and getting even more shelving so we could move seasonal decoration to the garage too. We then noticed that CGR does epoxy flooring, something we have been curious about for decades. So we decided Why The Heck Not - and we went for the whole package: epoxy flooring, shelving, and built in cabinets with a workspace. For the first time in 8 houses, we'd have a Grown Up Garage! Top tip for my fellow Yelpers though: plan for more shoe storage than you think. Thank me later! Jeff sketched out the design then and there, and gave us excellent pricing with absolutely no pressure, which was awesome. In short order, Sylvia called us to schedule the work and the installation began: first the epoxy flooring, then the slatwall, cabinets, and shelving. The installation team were super efficient and kept everything clean as they worked and when they finished each day. If there were any issues that we found, they either fixed it the same day or returned to address it without any questions. We were so pleased with the result that we decided to do a second round to add more slatwall and shelving - because there is never too much space for organizing! We have now used up almost all of the shelving and we're still noodling through all the possibilities with the slatwall, but already we feel so much relief and zen from having a neat garage. Not only can we find everything we need without an archaeological expedition, we were able to move a ton of lesser-used items out of our master closet so we could more aesthetically organize that too. So don't think the benefits of garage storage only improve the garage! If you would like to experience the same kind of relief and zen in your garage, I can't recommend CGR enough. You may, like me, also find yourself tempted to extend the zen beyond your garage, like I did with the pantry (my previous review). No matter what you choose, you won't regret it!

It's never too late to organize your garage AND your life! Thanks to Ariane, "The Clutter Nanny,"…read moreand Shannon, my garage and my life is now functioning at a MUCH better capacity! After years and years of hanging on to "things" I never used, sold or donated and thus making our garage a messy, unsightly and unusable place, I changed my mindset, thanks to Ariane and Shannon and couldn't be happier AND healthier. It feels much better to live in the present than to hang on to things from my past. These are things I decided someone else could much better use and enjoy, and the adage, if you haven't used it in a year, you don't "need" it, is so true. Ariane and Shannon helped me and my husband to sort, donate, toss or keep so many things we had saved for 20 or more years. They also offer to take items to donate as well. I learned about my city's (Fullerton) numerous opportunities for large item pick ups and extra trash pick ups (for an added fee) in the process. I became a familiar face at our local disposal place, which I (don't laugh) was kinda nervous about going to before, and that's why so many things didn't get "dumped." Our garage now has useable totes and shelves and designated spaces for items we truly need and use for our home and life. Big pluses for "The Clutter Nanny" are that both Ariane and Shannon are punctual, hard working, organized, great communicators and schedulers, conscientious, creative, and fantastic problem solvers. Now, and for our future, we have our two-car garage back and I look FORWARD to doing my laundry, storing and easily getting outdoor accessories and decor, easily finding camping items and tools to use indoors and outdoors. All our garage clutter is gone, and with this mindset, which Ariane and Shannon fostered in me, which feels and IS healthy, I am positive, I will not go back to clutter again. I even went to an estate sale two weeks after our de-cluttering, and didn't buy a thing; I just enjoyed myself. Thank you, Ariane and Shannon!

I'm seven months pregnant with our second baby, and our kitchen, pantry, and utility closet had become completely overwhelming. My husband and I did not have the time or energy to redo everything before the baby arrived. I especially needed help making our space work better for a toddler while preparing for newborn life again. They stepped in, understood exactly what we needed, and created practical solutions that made our home feel calm and manageable. At the end of the day it was something that needed to be done; something we were never going to do half as well as they did; and something that would lead to headaches and fights. We're so glad it was Ariane and Shannon doing it, not us. It was worth every penny. If you are thinking about booking them, plan ahead because their calendar fills up quickly.

Alice West and the Transform Your Space team are, hands down, the best in the business! I should…read moreknow because I hired Alice 5 times within 6 months. I was looking for a company because I had fallen into the trap of letting things go in terms of getting rid of older items, using my sons old room to store stuff, and generally being lazily complacent in certain areas of my house. Alice and team 'transformed' my walk- in closet and computer desk area, my son's old room (second bedroom) including closet, my kitchen cabinets, and my entire garage. I chose Transform Your Space because of my initial interaction with Alice. I found her website and saw exceptional reviews on various platforms, called, and expected to speak with an operator or administrator, but after talking for a few moments was pleasantly surprised to learn it was actually Alice after she identified herself. I had been going through some challenging times that lead my letting things get so disorganized and I was concerned I might be judged, that the tasks would be too overwhelming as I found them, and that there might be a lack of empathy. All of that went away literally in moments once Alice described her approach to her business and what she could accomplish. She really listened to me as I described what I needed done and my insecurities of letting someone into my home. The caring and ability to relate through her prior projects to me solidified my decision. She let me know that pictures were helpful to prepare her and team for how many people would be needed, time to complete projects, and gave an idea how best to approach it overall. I sent them for the first job and she immediately made me feel better that it wasn't that bad. We set the appointment and she gave me an estimate of the project cost along with the deposit required for the initial work which is later refunded. She also explained that they donate to Goodwill, work with assorted consignment stores, Working Women's Wardrobe (which I did donate some suits to especially after Alice explained that it helps those struggling to find work and need the clothing for interviews, etc). The best part is they take everything away including televisions and equipment of various kinds, and I kept asking Alice, "Can this be donated?", and she never said no! They give you itemized lists for tax purposes and email any done through organizations so you have it for your files. The day of my first appointment, I was still a little apprehensive because seeing a picture can be different from being face to face with the actual 'disaster' (as I referred to it as). Alice arrived right on time with a team member. She had a gentle and compassionate demeanor from the get go and I quickly felt like I was in good hands. She came with all necessary supplies including options to utilize her organizational bins, holders, etc. (she even got me a great plastic compressible ladder for my closet to reach taller shelves and that I now use throughout the house! She thinks of EVERYTHING!) She has a label maker that has made such a difference in accessing what I need after the fact. No more fumbling around and having to take everything out to find something! They bring trash bins and bags for sorting too. Alice is very dialed in to environmental concerns so is tenacious in the separating stages , including if something is hazardous waste. They start by tackling areas and separating items and then ask you to decide what you want to do with it. And before you know it, you start seeing clear progress which is so gratifying especially if you've been drowning in a mess of just too much stuff! As I hired Alice multiple times, it became my choice to stay nearby and work hand and hand to get things done quicker. I quickly realized I had been holding on to too many things that weren't important and she helped me 'let go' and really keep what was and is important. It was cathartic and I felt free from the burden of having so much. The finished product is so overwhelming that I felt like crying in relief! She even has a completion bell that they ring during for success made! I have never been so organized in my life now. I even say "What would Alice do?" when I now put things away in my new, neat world! I also want to give a big shout out to Jenny, Ashli, Lindsay, and Teena who supported Alice and my many projects. They were terrific! If you're reading this and really need an organizing service that does so many things, please contact Transform Your Space first. Best decision I've made in a long time! Alice is now a friend and I recommend her because she's the total package including with pricing. Don't suffer or wait any longer. Call or message them today!

There aren't enough amazing words to say about Liz and her team. We moved in to a new house and I…read morewas confident that I had purged our pantry and our garage before the move, although they needed to be organized. First, the pantry. Liz came in with Lisa and organized my pantry and kitchen. Not only did they help me sort through and discard FOUR bags of unnecessary items, but they left my pantry and kitchen so clean and organized that I thought I wanted to sleep in there! A few weeks later, we had them come and organize our garage. Our garage was the catch-all space for all things move-related, on top of our usual stuff. Every time I went in there, I got anxiety looking at all the stuff that needed to be unpacked and organized. Additionally, my husband's biggest goals were to (1) get his brand new tool chests organized and (2) simply be able to park his car in there. At the end of the very long and hot day of organizing, Liz and her team were able to organize EVERYTHING in our garage. They even sorted through all my husband's hardware (nails, nuts, bolts) and organized them into containers within his tool chest. Could I have organized my garage myself? I mean, yeah, probably. But here's how it usually goes: the two of us (my husband and I) would be able to do one section, not be able to go through *every item* and ask ourselves if we truly use it or not, NOT be able to really remove ourselves enough to categorize them properly, then we realize we need more bins, so we have to go out and get some more. We either procrastinate until tomorrow... or the next weekend... or the following month... Liz and her team already have ALL the necessary organizational items with them. They know the process because they've done this a thousand times! It is NOT possible to get this done without this team. The best part about having everything organized in clear bins is knowing exactly what we have and where we have it. It sounds dramatic, but I think it's accurate to say that having everything organized is life-changing. No longer will we have to second guess what we have or where to find it, only to purchase a duplicate (or gulp, a triplicate) of it, but we can access it easily... and most importantly, we can keep up with the organization. I think that organization MUST be sustainable in order for it to work. Even now, months later, my daughter and several friends know where to get snacks in the pantry or items in the garage, and they know that they can put it all back easily if needed. I cannot recommend Coastal Organizing Company more. Just absolutely fantastic!

One day, I looked around and had enough! I started to research home organizers and read tons of reviews for different companies. I reached out to a couple but a call with Jenn sealed the deal. Jenn listened carefully to our needs, got an idea of what we needed, and walked me through her process. I really appreciated that she intended to come prepared with all of the organization tools she'd need, requesting measurements of my cabinets/storage spaces well in advance so she can shop for the perfect bins, etc for our spaces. She also gave me a quote and time estimate that was extremely reasonable. We decided on two days beforehand and in anticipation of all of the *stuff* we'd be clearing out, Jenn also organized a donation pickup that would come straight to our door! On the first day, Jenn arrived with her car full of storage bins. We walked her through the kitchen, showing her what items were used most frequently, how we cook, etc. Jenn was super thoughtful in the questions she'd ask to maximize the utility of our kitchen space. Throughout the day, Jenn would check in to ask about items to be thrown away, how often we use certain ingredients, etc. The end result was a beautifully organized kitchen space that was *functional*. Bonus - we could see our kitchen counters again!! The way she organized everything just made sense - she truly has a gift for this. I also wanted to note that I was working from home while Jenn was organizing in the kitchen and she was so respectful of our time and patient while I was held up on work calls. The second day went just as smoothly. We had a storage cabinet that was just an explosion of random items we couldn't find proper places for, and Jenn somehow found a way to find make sense of the mess! Can't thank Jenn enough for the magic she worked! We will definitely be calling her again to help with our closet spaces. Thank you, Jenn!

She is on time, comes prepared and listens (and remembers) my needs. Her solutions go above and beyond what I could do myself. The true value is the condition in which my space is in when she leaves my home each time: I don't feel weighed down by the clutter and everything has a home. I thought it would be a luxury to afford this service but I can't imagine having to do everything she did all alone with a 9 month old baby at home with me. I'm eternally grateful for her expertise, patience and compassion through the process!
