I honestly cannot say enough good things about this spa. I saw Julia yesterday (after dealing for MONTHS with really bumpy acne prone skin) and not only did I leave looking radiant and clear, but she also took the time before our appointment to answer all of my skincare questions, review my current routine, and then afterwards sent me an extensive list of what I can do to help improve the appearance of my skin. She is the absolute sweetest person, and my facial with her was so relaxing and actually a lot of fun too. With everything that's been going on, it was a nice hour to chill out and laugh. My first Facial at Nefaire was June 2019. I called to make my appointment and the person answering the phone was extremely thorough in providing a step by step process in terms of the email that would be sent that provided a link for me to fill out the form that would help determine what type of facial I would be receiving plus parking instructions due to limited parking. I arrived a few minutes early to my appointment and the front desk staff was extremely welcoming offering me water and if I needed to use the restroom before my appointment. The facial started right on time and Wen was AMAZING! She asked me all sorts of questions and spent several minutes going over any issues I might have currently and what I would like her to focus during the facial. The actual facial was so wonderful. They even included a little massage of my shoulders, arms and neck. It was really relaxing and helped me to let go of the stress of the day so I could enjoy the facial. I am by no means an expert when it comes to facials but I have had many throughout my 49 years of life and I would say this was absolutely the best facial I have ever received. I literally walked out of the facial room feeling like I was glowing. Once the facial was complete Wen gave me several helpful tips that I can use during my everyday life to help keep my skin looking healthy. The top of this list was hydrate with LOTS of water. Something we all know but fail to accomplish most of the time. After my appointment signed up for the monthly program for facials and I have had a facial every month since including a Hydra-Facial and was extremely happy with the results. It is also important to point out that after my appointment I was not pushed to buy any skin products from the store even though they offer them. I don't know about most people but this always annoys me when having any sort of treatment at spa. If I want to buy any product I will ask!! I wanted to fall in love with this place SO much...For me, the all-natural concept is a match made in facial heaven. Unfortunately, I didn't fall in love with Nefaire... I should start by saying, I'd really give them a 3.5, but halfsies aren't an option... I made a same-day appointment on a whim because I was long overdue for a facial. I created a profile on their website and booked my appointment over the phone. I got a 60-minute facial. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly, and the atmosphere when you walk in is welcoming. My technician was also lovely. First off, I arrived a little late due to parking issues. There was a big festival, which I guess may also have been why I was able to get a same-day appointment. I called ahead to let the front desk know I'd be a couple of minutes late (took me 20 minutes to find parking!) and was told I'd still get a full hour. That definitely didn't happen... More like 45 minutes since it also took my facialist more than 5 minutes to whip up whatever creams and such were needed. I've had 2-3 facials a year for the last 15+ years... I wouldn't consider myself an expert, but I know a good facial. Nefaire's concept of all-natural facials is fantastic; however, the execution is just not there. Main complaints... 1- A good facial includes a GOOD steam to open your pores. My face was MAYBE steamed for 2 minutes... MAYBE... 2- Extractions were a BLIP. I expect a good amount of time to be spent taking care of blackheads and other issues. A quick once over was done, and when I asked my facialist if she'd be doing the sides of my nose, etc, she said it wasn't needed. I left Nefaire with TONS of blackheads around my nose, on my chin, and in other places that were SUPER obvious and should have been addressed. 3- The majority of time was spent massaging goop into my face. I get that every place has "their style" but for me, this was time wasted. I know the whole argument about releasing toxins, etc... That could have been done in half the time. When I left I was told, "Oh wow, your face looks so bright." All I could see were the TONS of things that were missed. My face looked no better than it had used my Clarisonic... I tried to address my unhappiness gently by making a comment to the women at the front desk that the facial wasn't up to par with what I normally get. Their response? A half-smile. That was my attempt at saying, "This was not a good experience." I guess my subtle message wasn't understood. Or maybe they just don't know how to address when a customer is dissatisfied. Anyway, at the end of the day, I wouldn't say Nefaire is BAD. Very nice people. Beautiful atmosphere. I also would not say they're GREAT ... For the introductory offer, price-wise it was OK. I definitely would not be able to justify getting a facial there at their standard prices. read more

Also went for my first visit 3/19/2019. Played hooky from work and called them at 10:30 and the squeezed me in at Noon. Felt welcomed from the moment i walked in. I've only had one other facial in my life so i guess i'm not the best expert but i can tell you that Wen took her time with me gave me lots of helpful tips and she followed up with an email that night to go over what we discussed. I truly loved the entire experience. Made another appointment before i left which is saying alot because I was only going to treat myself that day - but decided i should treat myself monthly! This was my first time going to Nefair and getting a facial! Wen took me at the last minute and she was great throughout the process! About the spot: Nefaire is tucked in the heart of downtown Westport and when you walk in is very spacious and clean. Great receptionist and explained the facial process very well. The Facial: I went in for very dry skin, I took the quiz online before I got there and when I went in, Wen knew the best way to handle my dry skin. Throughout the process she was very informative and helpful. We had conversations about my skin, my lifestyle, how I eat and my AM and PM routines. After: I really loved the way my skin looked! I now come each month and love the service! It's personalized to your skin, it's made in the premises and the treatments are awesome! I still haven't tried the body treatments. Just the facials and they have been great! Wen is the best!! She really tries to determine what's best for your skin and what may be causing issues. I very much enjoy my visit and treatments. Loved my experience at Nefaire. My favorite part was how everything was so personalized to address my skin type and concerns. After taking the skin quiz, Carrie and I talked through my skin concerns and she created a personalized mask for me made from all organic and natural ingredients. During the treatment she talked through everything she was doing and explained the benefits of each of the ingredients she used to make my mask. I usually go to the chain massage places around here, but was very impressed by this local gem! The prices are very reasonable, for both New and repeat clients, the facilities are clean and comparable to a Massage Envy/Elements/Spavia setup, and the massage therapists are very attentive and great with asking for feedback but not talking too much. Parking is pretty easy if you don't mind a 5 minute walk. The only thing I wasn't crazy about were the aromatherapy scents, but it'll be easy to avoid next time. Will definitely be back! read more

I can't say enough about this unique spa! Wen is the most attentive, thoughtful esthetician I've ever come across. I have problem skin, I've tried every spa in the area but I've never had an experience anything like this. After thoroughly examining my skin, Wen hand mixed botanicals, vegetables, and other completely organic ingredients to create the perfect products for my skin. She then explained every ingredient and then brought me into the treatment room. If you have skin like mine, facials can be pretty painful, but Wen made sure the extraction was quick and as gentle as possible. The rest of the treatment was seriously calming, stress free and the products all smelled fantastic. Wen is very special lady! She is smart, mindful, and very invested in her clients' happiness. This is not the place for you if you're looking for a typical, quickie facial. There is no product sales pitch, no rush to get you out before your hour is up, and the prices are very fair. My second visit was yesterday and I already can't wait to go back. I'm super excited to see the long term improvements Wen's unique process will bring to my skin. read more

Went here for an event with Fairfield County Moms Blog and had a mini facial. It was amazing. Went back for the Mother's Day special which was a facial and massage. Both were outstanding!! The massage was so relaxing that I actually fell asleep (which I never do) and the facial had my face glowing when I was finished. One of the best experiences I've ever had and I love that all of their products are organic. At the event, we made a natural scrub which I still use and it's better than anything I've bought in years. Definitely worth a visit. I went here after hearing about a discounted offer of $20 for a 30-minute massage and booked a session online for Saturday (second week of opening) with Monica F. The place looked hip and clean, and the service itself was great -- Monica was very communicative and great with her hands (I had a few tense spots in my shoulders, neck, and back that felt amazing after), and the massage table had incredibly soft sheets. The 30 minutes passed by too soon and I was in a post-massage haze after it was done! The owner was very kind and seemed eager to drum up new business -- their pitch seems to be quick, good services for people on-the-go and specialize in 30-minute and 60-minute offerings, with a $39 annual fee that gets you $10-$20 off per service, with no commitment. I normally only get massages every 4 months or so, but I may have to come back more often! read more

This is the place I've been looking for. I loved that the check in process was quick and easy. The space is clean, relaxing and modern and everyone was really warm and welcoming. I've been experiencing lower back pain and tightness for a while and Suzann took the time to listen, ask questions and rule out any nerve-related issues. I've had my fair share of massages, but this is the first one that actually felt like remediation. Suzann knew exactly where to focus; she knows her stuff and she knows it well. Had an excellent massage by Suzann. I have scoliosis and she was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job, any muscle pain I had was gone when I got off the table.
