The difference, at least for me, is that she is working with my body rather than against it. A lot of what we do involves working on an area and thinking about when I may have started holding that particular pattern, then consciously releasing it. Somehow, releasing it in my mind seems to correlate with releasing it in my body. When I walk out, I feel lighter, freer, and more aligned--and the changes last. I don't revert back a day or two later. Being able to improve my posture, release a tight hip, or eliminate hamstring pain is the best feeling in the world. I highly recommend giving Gail a try. I had wrapped my hair in a nice scarf and when she was done my scarf was off my head. My daughter said the young lady she had was breathing hard over her so she really couldn't relax. I was kind of disappointed that they didn't have a locker room nor a shower, or bottled water. They offered you water and came back with a little plastic cup with water in it, not sure if it was tap water.
