    Weekend!
    Latifa S.

Wine wine wine! Wine tasting in October x chelan views? Sign me up. Pretty cool people too. Amazing views from outside. I came to Chelan on a weekend trip / first girls trip of 2020 this week and this was one of our stops. We had a party of 10 and they gave us a beautiful spot outside. Can't do this in Seattle! My first big group outting of 2020. So glad they can accommodate us all. Views are amazing. Wine is even better! We did the tasting. I love the consequence! And their Syrah, Malbec and then some. All were great wine. Customer service was even better. And of course; being able to sit outside in October is a plus! Loved it!

Gorgeous wines and view! This has been a favorite of ours in Chelan for years. The vioginier and consequence are must tries. The view is beautiful. The tasting room is small but doable, and always seems to be buzzing. There is a small patio you can enjoy facing the lake, and there is even a playground for kids. Always enjoy our time here and go out of our way to stop!

Beautiful setting and the wines are spectacular. After making an appointment at another nearby winery for a tasting and getting horrible service we managed to get into here and they did not disappoint. The ladies wiring on an extremely busy Saturday gave excellent service and were very friendly and still took time to give great service. I only wish their wine club was not a wait list only.

5 stars for the excellent wines! My favorite winery because each wine i tried, 6, were beautiful and refined. The location has a lovely view. Sit outside with a glass and enjoy the view of the lake. The inside is nothing special though. I tried to join their wine club but there is a 2 and a half year wait!!!

This winery has a beautiful setting, but we were told on entering that there are no longer tastings per se. We were offered glasses of wine at $10 each, but I thought that it was bit on the high side in comparison to other nearby wineries so we decided to go elsewhere.

Nefarious Cellars is a relatively new winery on the scene in Lake Chelan however, they are by far the most exciting winery to appear in the AVA thus far. A good portion of their grapes are estate grown and are an excellent representation of Chelan's terroir. The Wine Gnome and I were lucky enough to catch Heather and Dean (the owners and winemakers) on the day that I arrived. They and their staff were friendly and accommodating. They were tasting 3 wines: A red blend, a Malbec and their latest Riesling. All wines were approachable and delicious. I drove back and picked up their Malbec after visiting all of the wineries on the South Shore, which gives you an indication of the quality of their wines. I was especially wowed by the Riesling (and I'm not a sweet wine fan). It was bone-dry and had a juicy complexity that reminded me of Starburst candies that I enjoyed so much when I was a kid. No visit to Chelan would be complete without a visit to Nefarious Cellars. Do yourself a favor and order a glass of their Riesling, stay and enjoy the view of the lake.

Lovely spot overlooking their vineyard and Lake Chelan. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Wine selection was enjoyable - really enjoyed the Viognier which is crisp and dry and Spinner, a Bordeaux style red blend. We enjoyed the tasting so much we bought a few bottles that were not on the tasting menu to give them a try. Outdoor seating space is limited so be sure to make a reservation.

Atop Wine: 4 Setting: 5 Extras: 4 Sitting atop the hill, this winery has an exceptional panoramic view of Lake Chelan! While the wines are okay, the view is worth the trip. Sit in the colorful chairs and have a glass; an excellent way to relax.

Lovely outdoor seating area to enjoy their diverse wine selection w stunning views of Lake Chelan.

The standout was the carrots, it was my favorite surprisingly, beautifully roasted, naturally sweet, and layered over a rich, bright purée that made the whole dish feel special. I've had their wines many times at home, but hadn't been in for a visit and taste in many many years until this past Memorial Day weekend. Sadly, the winery experience to me was a little underwhelming. The grounds felt a little scattered, and the team working seemed a little cold to my in-laws (despite them being long time members and locals). The Sauvignon Blanc bottle we shared had the very distinct "cat pee" aroma that I couldn't get out of my nose. I had to choke it down. The views were beautiful and I know their other wines have been good, I'm just not sure if this is some place I'd come back to given all the many other fantastic options in the area.

I heard from another winery that the chef at Sigallo was the real deal, so the missus and I stopped by for a meal. What a treat! A Caeser salad kicked us off - great flavor and a perfect starter. She ordered the shrimp grits, me the roasted chicken. Her plate was chock full of plump tasty prawns, with delicious pancetta bits atop a creamy bed of grits (much too smooth to be grits). Adorned with crispy zuchinni, it was just wonderful. My rosemary roast chicken was terrific. More French inspired, it was juicy with a flavorful crisp crust and the best crispy fingerling potatoes and roast carrots, the bernaise style sauce was equally tasty. We've tried the Bistro in Chelan which we love, but this meal was equally special and the value was terrific - each entree $20 or less. We're excited to see what other things they produce. Don't be fooled by the sign - this is a first rate kitchen. The red wine pairings were solid (less a fan of the whites), but come here for the food!

They had literally nothing from the photos and even pics added from the business owner. I thought maybe the menu changed seasonally or something but the waitress we had didn't even recognize the stuff and said it was probably from one of their other restaurants... I wish this stuff was accurate because the menu we were presented with was a let down after seeing the amazing things online. I will say, however, that everything we got was good. The steak bites were yummy (that sauce!) and my friends that shared the fried chicken sandwich were pleased and that thing was massive. Our cesar salad was also enjoyable.
