Absolutely the cutest farm I've ever seen. A group of us went for the goat hike (so unique right?!)…read moreand loved it! Our tour guides were the sweetest people and so knowledgeable about the goats and the farmland. A drink ( alcoholic or nonalcoholic up to $12) is included in the price of the goat hike ticket. They also have a cute gift shop where they're selling goat cheese, goat gelato etc. We didn't try the restaurant this time, but we will be back! I recommend checking this place out if you're in the area even though it's a little out of the way in the countryside!

I think I've seen 1 billboard in Champaign / Urbana for here.. maybe. But, a coworker of mine suggested I go and thank goodness she did. The food here is so delish. We got the chef tasting and wine pairing. 5 courses + 5 wines. The muscles we were served for the entree were the star of the show; Especially the sauce they were served in - killer. It's not particularly "fancy" inside, given you're on a farm. But, it is cute and clean. Do be weary when ordering because our bill came to just under $300 for 2 with the tasting menu. There are many other cheaper options on the menu and their menu is clearly priced online so there are no blindsides. This is a great place to go for a birthday dinner or celebration. You will enjoy the food (and the goats)

The highlight was the running train in the middle on top floor as you sit and sip on the hot cider while waiting for our reindeer tour at around noon. Luckily at the time we went we were the only once so we basically got a private tour. Who knew reindeers love graham crackers? It had snowed a couple days before so it was so special to see all the reindeer in the snow. The lovely gal answered a lot of our questions about the farm and the reindeer and my 4 yo daughter really loved feeding and patting the friendly and soft reindeers. It looked like they had a fun playground and an onsite cafe (it was closed) and some other amenities around but they were all covered in snow when we went. The only thing is it would have been nice if they plowed their parking lot after the snow for safety. This was in the same town we were visiting family so it was very close. I thought it was worth the price ($12) and I would recommend this for other families to come check out with their little ones and have a unique experience!

I wish they had some proper drinks like cider or something for the hot days but they just had this smashed pumpkin pie with icecream and a donut on top. It was delicious but a whole lot of sweet assortments I guess. Would love to return and do the maze in moonlight, if not for the horror movies I watched

In fact, it had the complete opposite effect on them; from viewing the trees, given an apple growth lesson, learning how apples are pollinated and viewing the bees, learning how the apples are sorted and viewing the large washing/sorter machine and seeing how the apples are stored in the large refrigerator. We enjoyed our lunch while eating apple donuts and drinking apple slushes. We spent time at the playground before departing back to school. The Okaw Valley Orchard staff will tell you exactly what is needed, what to expect during your outing and what you'll need to make the trip an awesome experience for you and your students! Be sure to call in August for September or October field trip dates

Absolutely love this shop! While roaming around the towns of Arthur and Sullivan, I found this…read moreOrchard on Yelp and had to stop by to check it out. It was so exciting to see homemade jams, freshly picked peaches and cider. I ended up getting the cutest soy eucalyptus candle, a bunch of ciders, a measurement shot glass, kettle popcorn and organic bug repellent. All things I never knew I needed, until now :) I wish this shop was bigger and more expansive but I'd be in trouble because I'd end up buying more than I bargained for. The home made cider was incredible. They made it into a slushee and it was so good, ended up getting two cups full and then two for the road. It was also neat that the cider didn't need to be refrigerated, making it so much easier to transport cross country. The staff here was also super friendly and welcoming which also is an added plus. Highly recommend stopping here if you ever find yourself in Sullivan, Illinois!
