I brought my bridesmaid dress that had been absolutely wrecked due to walking around the streets of New Orleans following a wedding I had attended/participated in. This place is great! I have been in a couple of times to get fancy dresses and thick comforters dry cleaned, the man who works there is always so nice when I come in. This last week I found a blanket my great grandmother knitted that had been passed down to me with a huge stain on it, I had no idea what it was and was worried I would be unable to get it out, I took it to Neighborhood Cleaners, they said without knowing what it is they would try to remove the stain the best they could. I had kind of accepted my fate that the blanket was ruined. When I went to pick it up Monday the stain was completely gone and the blanket looked cleaner than I had ever seen it. read more

Every time I buy new suits and formal wear, I go straight to Neighborhood Cleaners because I know they'll do a great job. On a more regular basis, I send formal wear there for dry cleaning because it also saves on a lot of my own time to stay looking professional. First time here. The owners greeted me very kindly and we had some pleasant conversation. I deducted 1 star because it's expensive and the turnaround time is kind of long (7 work days). Sadly I haven't found an affordable dry cleaner in Cbus so I just went with the most recommended. I like that it is family owned and they dont really advertise, as word of mouth has them busy enough. After moving to the c-bus, I was looking for a dry cleaner I could trust. Took in brand new, never worn, Michael Kors suit pants. The pants were wrinkly after being hemmed and I took them to be dry cleaned. There was a big hole from the press machine on the front of them. The man then proceeded to call me a liar and refused to take responsibility for their carelessness. We have been long standing customers (5 years+) and have sent numerous coworkers, friends, and acquaintances to Neighborhood Dry Cleaners. We are huge proponents for small businesses and it's a shame to be treated so poorly. Us, and several others will be going to a dry cleaner who isn't as careless and treats long standing customers with more respect. read more

I'm surprised there aren't more reviews. This is just an exceptional small business and the best dry cleaner I've found in Columbus. Everything done on site -- the #1 most important factor for a dry cleaner -- and done with care by an owner who takes great pride in how he runs his shop. Initially I only went because their prices on dress shirts were lower than anyone else (still are). But the service is better than anyone else too, so I'm very happy. Paying in advance is different, but not a big deal. Highly recommend. read more
