When I picked them up she shortened them but did not taper then charges me $36.75 When I told her we agreed to a specific marrow cuff she just kept acting like she didn't understand. Then when I paid she shorts me a dollar in change. Don't let that friendly demeanor fool you. This place is not only expensive but she can't even do the job requested. I'm going from loyal customer here to never coming back. I had slowly stopped coming to the clintonville coin-op when I noticed a decline in their cleanliness shortly after they reopened. I started visiting other laundromats. I came back to give coin-op a try again and I'm disgusted to see they haven't improved their cleaning at all. This is the inside of the first machine I stopped at, 45 minutes into the day's opening, with the attendant chilling at the desk. So I skip the machine and go check some others. Checked at least four other machines. Each one was filthy. Dog hair, lint, gunk, coins, KIBBLE?? I found the cleanest one I could and wiped out the inside as much as I was able (it was still pretty grimy). Honestly I regret doing that wash. When it was over, I ended up just grabbing the 'clean' clothes and the rest of my clothes and putting them back in my car. No idea where I'm going to wash them next, but it's definitely not here. This place really used to be my favorite, but they need to seriously implement some stronger cleaning protocols and follow up on them.

I counted last time I was there (Nov 2025), and 20% of their machines were down. That's 1 in 5 and that is not an exaggeration. So if you go and it looks to only have a few people inside, there's a good chance that every washer will be occupied upon arrival. I removed the plastic from around my suit after bringing it home from Crown Point Cleaners. It had small dark stains on the right sleeve by the shoulder. There was nothing noted on the hanger that there was a stain on the sleeve that they could not remove. I've never had an article of clothing returned to me by a cleaner that had a stain without a tag stating that there was a stain that couldn't be removed. I took it back to them and the owner said it was from a moth. A MOTH! I purchased the suit less than two months ago. I tell this to her and then she claims its mildew. MILDEW! I can't believe my ears. I did not even walk in blaming them for what happened. I simply showed it to her. No apology, nothing. In fact, she said there were more spots on the pants. I never even looked at them and when I got home, she was right! I then took the suit to another dry cleaner. The owner looked at it thoroughly and said it was an ink stain. He said it was obvious that an ink pen had broken on the suit. He had the seamstress remove the inner lining of the sleeve and spent four days trying to remove the stain. No luck. The work Crown Point did set the stain. There is no way that the suit was brought to Crown Point Cleaners with those stains. The location of the ink blots are impossible to happen without me knowing. I can't believe that someone would so badly lie about something that was so obviously their fault and never even give me heads up. Stay away!!!!!!!

I made an appointment after using the request a quote tool on Yelp. The response rate was remarkable and within about 30 minutes I had an appointment for a few days later. The location is easy to find but tucked away off Henderson Rd. in a small shopping complex next to a barber shop and a paint store. The staff is friendly and quick to greet you when you arrive. My appointment took less than twenty minutes. My dress took about two weeks and I had it hemmed, a slit put in the front, and the straps shortened a bit. It came out to about $115 with tax and the work was wonderful. I wouldn't hesitate to come back the next time I need any clothing alterations. The reviews are real and you can definitely trust them.
