Very disappointing experience with InMotion Wellness…read more I initially purchased a 3-month package and was given the impression that I would be contacted before the 3 months were up to see whether I wanted to continue. I never received a call, notification, or receipt letting me know that I was being enrolled into an ongoing monthly membership. I later discovered that I had been charged $199 per month, despite the fact that I have not used the services at all. I also did not receive receipts or any communication notifying me that these recurring charges were taking place. Once I realized what was happening, I contacted the Statesville location to ask about canceling the membership and getting a refund. I was told someone would get back to me, but I never received a call back or any follow-up. I understand that memberships can have terms and conditions, but there is a big difference between knowingly agreeing to a recurring membership and believing you are purchasing a 3-month package and will be contacted about continuing afterward. I'm extremely disappointed with how this has been handled, particularly the lack of communication and follow-through when I tried to resolve the issue directly. I hope InMotion will take responsibility for the situation and make this right.

I am finishing up on my 9th week at Phoenix Physical Training & OMG y'all, he is awesome…read more I meet with Jesse 3 days a week, 30 min sessions. He is working with me to rehabilitate & strengthen my body from a spinal cord injury & my latest back surgery. After 2 weeks, my family & friends were already seeing a big difference in my walking & activity level. The 4th week I was able to do 2 Walmart trips with my son. Y'all, I haven't been in a store since the later part of 2017. I suffer from lots of nerve damage, both active & chronic. My legs randomly give out on me causing falls. Public places were not an option for me until now. I am even confident now enough to run a few errands on my own. This is huge for me. Anyone who suffers from anything knows the toll it takes on you not just physically, but mentally as well. So just getting out can cause anxiety. Now I'm getting out 3 days a week going to a safe place that's helping me get better. A win-win for me for sure. Jesse is one of the most comfortable trainers/therapist that I have ever worked with. He is so patient & encouraging. I was going to one of the local popular physical therapy places for awhile & I wasn't comfortable. The girls there were great, but it was all out in the open & always lots of people around. No privacy. I dreaded going each time. Another issue I had with them was scheduling. By the time my insurance would approve sessions, this place wasn't able to accommodate them all in-in the time they had to be used by. I was missing out on a lot of therapy sometimes not able to get in for 2 wks. For some reason they wouldn't pre-schedule my visits. It was very frustrating & stressful. I Phoenix Physical Training for anyone either in my situation or just wanting help to get healthy & fit. I can not stress enough how good he is & how comfortable he is to work with. He really cares & is very passionate about helping others. I look forward to our sessions & can't wait to see where I'll be at physically in another 9 wks. I am so excited for my progress & forever grateful to Jesse for bringing me this far so quickly. Thank you.

We have been so happy with the entire program and school-the teachers are warm and caring and get to know you and your child well. The class size is still small- and the children are very well cared for. When my child is tired or not eating-- the director and teacher notice right away and help to figure out if she sick etc.. simply could not ask for a better daycare.

As a resident of the Moss Creek development, I recently signed up for access to the fitness center…read more I've been in the neighborhood for over 7 years and I've frequented the pool and clubhouse on numerous occasions. The pool is well above average when compared to other housing developments. Sometimes it's overcrowded, sometimes you're all alone. Get there early during peak season if you really want a good seat or an umbrella accompanied table. Slide, kid's pool with fountain, Olympic size lap pool....all good in my book. The clubhouse is just what you'd expect. Reserve it for a party or what have you. It's not much unlike any other community clubhouse. The fitness center was just introduced this year and residents must agree to a $100/year increase in their homeowners association dues in order to use the facility. Worth it if you will actually make use of it. It's convenient but there are limited hours of operation. They do not allow anyone under the age of 18 to use the facility and they threaten your membership if you allow any nonresidents or minors to accompany you in. Your resident card, via a magnetic chip, grants you access during their hours of operation. The facility is better that I had expected of a community fitness center. A little larger that expected with a few more machines and such. Four treadmills each with TV viewing capabilities. You can also hook your iPod into them. Several basic settings on the machines make them user friendly for newbies. The space is also equipped with weights, multifunctional weight bench, ellipticals, bicycles, etc. with a view of the large pool as you grunt through your workout. The facility also comes with access to the shared pool house restrooms. There is one shower available in the men's room if you choose to make use of it after your workout or swim. I can't speak for the ladies room. Most of the time I find myself working out alone or with just one or two others. Of course January sparks the season of resolutions and it's been a bit more crowded lately. All good and I wish everyone well in their new personal endeavors but I fully expect it to die down again soon. One thing that I think would improve the experience and perhaps encourage others to make more use of the space would be if residents were allowed to bring a guest. My sister often visits me from out of state for a week at a time and I don't see any reason why I shouldn't be able to let her join me for a gym-like workout when she's in town. Neighborhood folks may also be more inclined to workout and/or stick to their goals if they had a workout partner. What's wrong with Susie bringing her buddy from work for a little extra motivation? What if Johnny wants to bring his personal trainer to see what equipment he has to work with and to get a little advice? A limit of one guest per resident isn't unreasonable. Especially given the empty air outside of January, but that's just my opinion. We are granted guests when visiting the pool. How is the fitness center any different? Anyhow, if you live in the Moss Creek neighborhood, get off of your lazy bum and go get your workout on! You'll feel better about yourself, I promise!

It's kind of sketchy so hid valuables in car or bring inside. Problem: The air was non existent in the studio! Very hard to workout with little circulation. Please fix this asap!

It's taken me some time to get back to Yelp, but I knew I had to review this place…read more Dance is the 4th activity my child has tried. She went to another dance place, and it was good, but the commitment was just too much. Recitals, costumes, all the fees... the place I took my daughter to is only for the REAL committed dancers. I'm just looking or a place for my daughter to a. move around and burn some energy, but also b. she likes dancing, so this should be fun and she can learn a few easy technical moves at the same time. This ain't the place for that. What I do like is that while I cannot be in the room or by the room for my daughter and me to see each other, there are TV's on the wall for me to see what she is doing. BUT! I can't hear anything. I also liked the owner was around to greet people. And someone just dropped their little sister off and little girl didn't know where she was going. The owner took great care of her. He seems really nice. IMO and this is only my opinion, this is where some improvements could be made. 1. I thought I was signing my daughter up for a 3-4-year-old class. On the first day, I heard a child going to the same class say she was 6 years old. Yea, I think if a class is for 2-3 or 3-4, or 2-4; whatever, I think it should most certainly be for that age group only. The development and attention span of children varies greatly from one age group to the next. 2. My daughter's class was pretty big. Perhaps this is normal? There had to be maybe 10 or so kids in the class. Now, grant it, there were 2-3 teachers in the class, so I'm sure the ratio of teachers to students was up to par or beyond; however, one teacher is upfront teaching the moves, and the other two are really just doing the moves in other parts of the room for the kids to see. I didn't really see any direction. My kid was booored. There was too much stop and go and the "stops" would be too long of a break. The other teachers didn't really seem to be paying attention either. It was kind of annoying. 3. There was too much technical involved in dancing. For a 3 or 4-year-old, that's too much. They just want to jump around really. But if technical moves are going to be taught, perhaps the most up-to-date video dance moves should be reserved for maybe 5 and up. I would think they would learn maybe 3-4 short moves and work on that the entire class. I saw some kids kind of moving around all antsy, kind of not paying attention. 4. At the end of the class, they gave popsicles. POPSICLES! That's cute and all, but the class ends at like 7 PM. I don't need my child hopped up on sugar after I knew she was going to be worn out from the class before going to bed in like an hour. Plus, not every parent gives their child sugar, at least not artificial. Perhaps, an Honest juice is more appropriate. They're thirsty, maybe hot and need something to quench their thirst and there is very little sugar in it, but kids who don't eat too much sugar, like mine would still think this is a treat. I think this studio is good for the below individuals: 1. Those who have a background in dance 2. Those who are disciplined and focused, no matter the age 3. Adults who are looking to learn the latest moves, learn dance routines If you have an extremely active child, who needs to constantly move when doing an activity, like mine; this is probably not your place. I was told to give my daughter at least a few more classes as she would adjust, but nah. Not for a once a week course. She would need to do this at least 3-4 times a week to adjust; because then it would be a normal sort of everyday activity in her daily routine. My youngest child is more focused and chill. If she takes an interest in dance, she is fine being in a big group of kids, and I know that sugar is not going to make her hyper before she goes to bed, I would most definitely consider this place. I put my child in soccer.
