I wanted to take the time to review La Petite - Concord because they have truly been a 2nd home for my children ages 11 - 1 years old. I started bringing my children to La Petite in 2012 when my oldest was 6 and my middle child was about 3-4 months at the time. The facility went through a management change and we have seen our fair share of teachers come and go. The teachers who have been there since I decided to enroll my children are truly like a second family to my children. The teachers that my children interact with are always easy to talk to & always willing to answer any questions/concerns I may have. My kids have truly grown socially and academically. Although my oldest does not attend anymore, he likes to come in and say hi to everyone whenever he comes with me. My middle child was so prepared for Pre-K because I know personally I didn't work with her as much as I should have, but the activities and lessons she got at La Petite really gave her an awesome jump start. She gets really excited to do daily activities especially going to the School Age room where they get to pick jobs so that everyone contributes and gets paid in play money to earn things! Lastly, my baby enjoys his teachers so much that he jumps right into their arms as soon as he sees them. Even the staff gets really involved at making things flow around the place. When they see something needs to be done, they just jump right in. I love seeing that they take the time to get to know each child and their families. My only critique is that I wish corporate would invest more into updating the building. Although homey feeling, I personally feel like the teachers & staff (as well as our children) at La Petite deserve a better facility to match the excellent service they provide. read more

This Facility has been a blessing to my family! I'm a mother of 4 and I moved to NC about 8 years ago. At that time La Petite stood out when you are coming off the the exit. I met Ms. Keke and she took such great care of my two oldest children. I ended up moving and was looking again desperately for a daycare for my now younger children . I searched high and low and the only place that made me feel secure was La Petite. When I called ,Mrs. Jasmin answered and she was so kind and warm. She allowed me to come in for a tour that day and I was so thankful. I then found out Ms. Keke was still there and teaching! Long story short with my 12 years of experience in different daycares and curriculum, I would have to say I was very impressed. I expressed to Mrs. Jasmin that Kindergarten readiness means the most to me and she assured me that my daughter will be more than prepared. When I tell you my daughter is writing her name, knows how to do math, reading short stories and her critical thinking has blossomed since the summer and school year just began.They have a great Junior K teacher Mr. Austin too. In addition Ms. Ja'Lisa is always so consistent and sweet. Last but not least I love how this facility now does many family oriented events , where I can still incorporate my older children that used to go here. La Petite isn't as close as I'd like it to be ; however, I don't mind the travel knowing my children are receiving quality care and education. La Petite is more than a daycare it's a place to stay connected and grow! I would certainly recommend this facility to families that want more out of a daycare , other than just drop off. I wish i could give this center 10 stars!!! The only way i can describe Mrs. Jasmine, Ms. Ja'Lisa and Ms. Kiki is DYNO-MITE (as JJ from Good Times would put it )!!! My children have been going here for a while and i have seen a dramatic change in my children not only academically but socially. I have a four year old who started out an introvert and stayed to herself but now she has so many friends and is as outspoken as can be. My youngest child started off as an infant there and would barely go to anyone and cried all the time but now at a year old he is so attached to Mrs. Maryam that he doesnt even give me a second thought when im dropping him off. My three year old is head over heels for her teacher Ms. Keyla and my school agers cant get enough of the afterschool and summer programs. The staff is amazing, the curriculum is spot on, and the center is organized and always presentable. I can tell that these teachers and staff are there for more than a pay check. They genuinely care for their students. My children and myself love this center and plan on being here for a while!!! read more

La Petite Academy has been a true blessing to my children and family. I enjoy coming in and engaging with the teachers who are very welcoming and excited about teaching. My daughter enjoys coming to school each morning and getting to pick her "job" of the day. The teachers and director do a great job at making the children feel important. The director is very attentive and greets and knows ALL of the parents, children and staff members. She leads well and definitely has the children's interest at best. I have toured and also enrolled at another La Petite in the past but La Petite Concord is definitely the place for my daughter and family. I am beyond satisfied and happy about my decision to enroll. read more

I have been the director here at La Petite Concord for well over 5 years. I am proud to say that our facility, programs, staff and families have grown immensely over the past 5 years and we have so much to offer our future scholars. Every day is exciting and new, as the amazing teachers create a great learning experience for their students. I have only great things to say about Lapetite. I had both my girls here in the after school program and it was great. They were able to work on homework and enjoyed doing the different activities set for each day. They loved going on the scheduled trips during the summer. Everyone knew their name and greeted them. I now have a toddler here. The curriculum that they use is awesome! The teachers work with her in different areas to help her learn and grow. The atmosphere when you walk in is like family!
