I love it here! Staff is amazing, friendly and professional…read more Staff is very empathetic, they are always able to answer all my questions and come up with a plan instead of jumping ahead with unnecessary exams, X-rays etc. I love that you are able to get early or late appointments. My miniature poodle is in good hands here at Falcon Pass.

Recently we took Abby in for an issue with her front left leg causing her to limp significantly. We had noticed a lump on her left shoulder and thought it could be related to the issues with her left leg. We communicated this concern several times with Dr. Sunderland who was performing Abby's exam and she repeatedly told us that it was just Abby's breast bone we were feeling. They took X Rays and didn't see anything significant and prescribed medication for pain and inflammation. We were told that if her condition didn't improve within a couple of weeks to call them back. Abby showed no improvement after taking the medication so we contacted the vet and received a referral to MEDVET speciality healthcare. After a thorough examination at MEDVET, the doctor was concerned with the mass in the region of the pre-scapular lymph node and the lameness on the left side that they are related. This was the same mass we had previously discussed with Dr. Sunderland who repeatedly stated we were just feeling her breast bone. The MEDVET doctor has recommended a CT to determine what might be involved with the mass and to determine what further actions might be required. Very disappointed that Dr. Sunderland at Falcon Pass did not make the same diagnosis.

They've known him since they could carry him around with one hand. And they helped us when it was time to say goodbye to our loving cat Abigail. She was with us for 27 years. It felt as if one of our own children had passed. And they were with us every step of the way. Checking in on us. Sending us cards. Even on the anniversary of her passing. When ever Rerun or Goose have to go in for anything, they act as if it were a trip to a friend's house. Who wouldn't want that for their pets. Especially when we have to leave them behind. Whether for a trip or just the day. Our Animals are always looking happy when we drop them off or pick them up. That does my heart good.

TLC is the ONLY place I trust for my cat, Nala's care and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM…read more They are always there when I need them- for example - A few years ago, I was only 100 miles into our first cross-country road trip when my cat, Nala, started getting "motion sickness". He wasn't eating or drinking and he started vomiting every few minutes. I called TLC and told them I was traveling back east on the interstate and needed an OTC medicine that I could find at a truck stop or gas station mini-mart for Nala's motion sickness. Dr. Richardson got on the phone, and started consulting her medical books to determine a safe OTC medicine I could give Nala, the correct SAFE dosage, frequency, and advised of the best way to administer it to my cat. I immediately sought out the medicine and gave Nala the first dose, as instructed. Within 20 minutes, Nala was feeling better, drinking water again, and resting comfortably. Dr. Richardson called me back two more times during the next 48 hrs to check on Nala's status and I was happy to advise Nala did great throughout the rest of the 1,500 mile road trip with no more incidents. That level of genuine care and emergency veterinary support I received in that situation with my cat, while traveling (**without any compensation**) is something I have never before experienced with a veterinarian and that is why I ONLY trust the veterinarians at TLC Animal Hospital to care for my (current and future) FURR-BABIES. For those concerned about costs - I understand, however, TLC DOES cooperate with online sites, such as 1-800 PETMEDS. PLEASE NOTE: ***TLC also DOES NOT include ADJUVENTS in VACCINES!! This is HUGE because ADJUVENTS cause 90% of negative side effects to animals from vaccines. I hope this input helps! ~Vicki C. of Houston, Texas

Words can't express the gratitude I have for Dr. Jennings and the Haven Veterinary Clinic staff…read more When I moved back to the Houston area a few years ago I was so happy to come across a black AND female owned veterinary clinic that wasnt too far from my home. Cultural similarities aside, Dr. Jennings' credentials also spoke loudly to me. American Veterinary Association, Chief of Staff at Banfield for 20+ years. Texas A&M vet school. Yes, someone I can trust. Someone, who'll listen to my concerns and truly care about what's best for my pet. I confidently booked my first appointment for my dog. The staff is mild mannered, calm, gentle and always very welcoming. Dr. Jennings, the same but firm, knowledgeable and honest. Dr.Jennings always treated me with the utmost professionalism but yet with the care and concern of a dear family friend. It was clear she saw how much my little one meant to me and she wanted to provide me with the best information she had. A couple weeks ago, I was so relieved to have Haven Veterinary Clinic in my corner on the last day of my fur baby's life. I'm so grateful it was on a Saturday and while Haven was open. They welcomed me as soon as I could get there, without an appointment. Once there, they did all they could and let me come to the back with my little one as they cared for her. I stepped out briefly to run an errand and returned at closing time. Dr. Jennings then referred me to two 24 hour facilities were I could continue my fur baby's care. She remembered an awful experience I had with another nearby clinic and was careful NOT to refer me to them but to her top two choices. The option I chose couldn't have been more perfect. I'll be leaving a separate A+ review for them as well. While providing medical care for my dog, Dr. Jennings recommended the best diet plans, medications, and specialists and gave my baby the very best care. She was very helpful in guiding me on realistic options and steering me away from expensive time wasters. Although she always ensured all decisions were completely made by me. She laid everything out on the table for me to decide. A day after my precious little doggy passed away, which happened to be on a Sunday, Dr. Jennings called me and gave me her sincerest condolences. It meant so much to me that she went out of her way on a Sunday and when I knew she had time off the following week, to express her sympathy to me for my loss. I always felt seen, heard and understood by Dr. Jennings and like she truly cared about me and my fur baby. I would without question recommend any and everyone to this amazing veterinarian and her awesome staff. One day, when I have future fur kiddos, Haven is absolutely the veterinary clinic I'll choose. I'm a little sad I don't have a reason to see the staff and Dr. Jennings regularly anymore but when the time comes this is without a doubt where I will go.
