After requesting to not have Vasquez due to her questionable skills we were scheduled with Johnson for a spay. It looks like my dogs stomach was butchered. I have never seen such poor incisions. Her wounds were very concerning so we asked to bring her back in & we were given the advice to take her to the ER after spending over $1000 at this vet. So, I am extremely particular about how you're treated as a patient from the first phone call. The whole team at Family Pet Hospital get it! They remember conversations you have. They note their findings clearly so other staff members can communicate with you without having to pass the buck back to someone else. My dog had to have a tumor removed today. I was called before the procedure; given clear instructions verbally and via email. Given multiple fee scenarios pending on what would be found during surgery. After the procedure, I was contacted by the doctor and given a full report. Then, when I picked her up, they explained all the after surgery instructions clearly. My last vet couldn't remember that my cat was female no matter how many times they were corrected. Thank you everyone at Family Pet Hospital!! You truly made us feel like family!!!
