This is my favorite place to eat in Harrison. Good quality food, healthy choices, and generous portions. Everything I have ever eaten here has been incredible. Parking is a bit of trouble at lunch time but it's well worth the small hassle for the amazing food. The staff is friendly and helpful too! read more

Have stopped twice now in the past week. Stopped first on a Saturday afternoon. HUGE lines for lunch so we just picked up a loaf of strawberry pecan bread. It disappeared within a day. Stopped by again on a Weds afternoon to see if we could avoid the lines for lunch. Success! All of our sandwiches were very good (grilled cheese, bbq chicken, and one other chicken sandwich) and my tomato basil soup was also great. The menu has many great offerings and their grilled cheese with a cup of soup is a comfort food favorite. Then there are the desserts. Always have dessert! Oh Neighbor's Mill, how I do wish you were in NW Arkansas!!! Every time I go to or through Harrison, I stop here for breakfast, coffee, lunch, or just bread. Love their bread. I wait and get my bread there even though I am surrounded by perfectly lovely bakeries at home. I really like the light wheat. The staff is wonderful but let me tell you, this place can get crowded, so plan accordingly, but don't miss it. And join their coffee and/or bread club so you can get free stuff. Also they have a nice points rewards system. I am always getting emails for a free cookie or cup of soup or something. read more

I enjoy the mill, but I don't like how it's so loud and echoes. It is hard to have conversation with them people you are having lunch with. Everyone can hear your conversation. Breakfast was such a treat, the cinnamon rolls were probably the best we have ever had! There were a number of coffee choices, I went with a latte (that was made perfectly) and my husband tried the chocolate almond latte and it too was great. We also tried the breakfast sandwich, they came out quick and were delicious. There are also a number of choices of breads, cookies and pies. We took home mini loaves of cranberry cream bread, strawberry pecan bread and peaches and cream bread. Can't wait to try them!! read more

Excellent Bread! I've had most of the breads, we pick some up for all of our vacations, family trips, or just when we pass by! Their Honey Wheat is the best bread I've had on this planet. And I'm betting no other planet will compare. We like some of the sweeter breads for adding a sweetness to our breakfast toast. I've had lunch here just a handful of times and it was, forgettable. Great coffee and great food. I travel through Harrison on my way to Springfield MO and have stopped here often as a "half-way" respite for coffee or a meal. Everything is very high quality. Getting on and off the highway can be tricky. If you are approaching from the south, I would advise taking the left turn at the traffic light at Rock Springs Rd. before Neighbors. It's much easier than trying to turn left on that busy stretch of highway where they are located. There is a back entrance on Rock Spgs. Rd. a short way down the street that leads directly into their parking lot. From the north it is much easier, but if you turn into the bank driveway before Neighbors, you won't have to wait for cars trying to exit their narrow driveway. The bank parking connects with Neighbors' lot. That part of it wasn't very well thought out considering the huge amount of vehicular traffic in that part of Arkansas. read more

During lunch, it's more self service & then at dinner it turns into a full service restaurant. Stopped in Harrison to met friends and eat lunch. We choose to eat at Neighbors Mill!!! The food is very good, but it is served almost cafeteria style and there is not a lot of service!! I'll be honest. This is not my favorite place in town. The breads are wonderful, that's true. Nobody can argue with that! However, the seating is uncomfortable (wooden booth seats, woven-seat wooden chairs) and something about the acoustics make the seating area loud and unpleasant. It doesn't make me want to stick around. My husband and I tried their dinner service a couple of times and were very disappointed-- seems like the owner's not around and the staff didn't really seem to know how to run a full-service restaurant. The pasta was way overcooked and waterlogged, meals didn't come out at the same time, et cetera. It's a decent spot for a quick muffin or lunch, but it's not a place where I want to linger or chat. read more

My Boyfriend and I love going to Neighbor's Mill. Their sandwiches are top notch, and we never have anything less than delicious no matter what we order. We got a to go grilled cheese and French dip today and recieved prompt service, reasonably priced. I've been there probably twenty times in the past 4 months and I've not been disappointed with any aspect of any of my visits yet. What a wonderful find! The atmosphere was wonderful and the food was great. When we are traveling, we love to find local restaurants that locals love. This is a MUST TRY for those who are traveling. The Service was usual southern "thanks for choosing us" but the food was fantastic. I had the breakfast sandwich and husband had the omelet....almost forgot the out of this world cinnamon roll...wow!! BTW their local coffee was a must try also. As I read Maggio's from Frisco Texas, I could not help but wonder if she actually had the correct restaurant. Perhaps it was intended for another eatery and she was confused. Neighbor's Mill makes all of their own bread, and other foods right on site using the freshest ingredients -- even local when possible. I have loved everything I have ever ordered at the Mill. I live here in town and I love to take out of town guest here to eat or to meet friends who might be passing through. The service has always been great, with smiles and courtesy . . . and by the way, even though we are locals, I rarely know any of the young folks working there and serving the customers. read more

This place was great! Stopped in on the way to Hot Springs for a to go breakfast sandwich. Hubby and I had the bacon egg and cheese on honey wheat bread. Delicious! The coffee was also very good. Had several choices to choose from. Food was ready quickly. Staff very nice. Love the old building. We love locally owned little cafes and this fit the bill. Definitely worth a try.
