I was met by Dr. H.... and another person whom he brought in the room and never even introduced them. I believe she was a student or nurse not sure but anyway I explained to him the reason for my visit. He examined my legs and stated we have to do surgery on you.. I'll tell .... to call you. He never explained to me what was going on or exactly what the treatment plan was. I then began to explain to him the excruciating amount of pain that I was experiencing and how my feet were swelling daily and how I could no longer wear closed shoes. I had bruises forming on both of my inner ankles and then he stated to be very sternly," You shouldn't have any pain in your legs only cramping." I desperately tried to explain to him that this was my second time seeing a vein doctor because I had no pain even though the atrophy blanche caused my skin to start forming light patches a few years back. I was not experiencing any changes to my condition until I made the appointment. He then stated I can prescribe you a steroid Creme, but my concern was that open bruises were starting to form and the pain or wound care, and I wasn't sure how the creme was going to help. He quickly left my room with the lady assistant and closed my door. I could hear him telling her things about me as I got dressed. I was appalled and felt disrespected because he didn't take that much time to address my concerns, but now I and everyone else there could hear him through the door talking about me. He dismissed my concerns as if I didn't have any very rudely. I hurriedly got dressed and cracked the door as I heard him saying to her oh, she says pain she shouldn't have pain, and ohhh we have to treat this to cover ourselves because she may have DVT. THE AUDACITY OF THIS MAN!! He was never going to see me or treat me. His bedside manners were terrible as well as his duty to treat me correctly- blemished. I told all my coworkers about this; some have similar problems with their legs from standing a lot. I left and made no follow up appointment The receptionist told me ... would call to schedule the surgery. What surgery what type and would this ultimate correct my ulcers I had so many unanswered questions? I tried the creme, it didn't help the pain of me having an open wound on my leg. I called the office the next day to ask the doctor Again what pain medicine I could take or preventive care I could do to treat my ankles, and the receptionist stated that the doctor wasn't in the office and once he got back, she would call me back. Needless to say, I'm still waiting for them to call me to this day...!! The woman did call me back to schedule the surgery a week later and I told her no Thanks I'll seek my professional Care elsewhere. And that's exactly what I did and I have no complaints. They explained to me what I needed to do and gave me a printout explaining the treatment options as well as side effects. And my bruises are healing now, and my feet are no longer swelling. I thank God that there are doctors out there that truly care and don't treat their patients this way. I pray no one else feels the way this man treated me.

I have a chronic wound that's going on for many months. I have seen several doctors that can't…read moreseem to figure out why it's not healing. During the past few months, I've been to three different wound care centers in northern NJ. I believe this is the best one out of the three. The reason why it's the best are the nurses there. Most of the nurses there really care about you and want to see you get better. This is a rare quality. The doctor I saw didn't seem very interested in the wound which seems to be the case at most wound care centers. Most seem fixated on simply going through as many patients as possible without really paying individual attention. So, go here because the nurses and physician assitants will try their best. At the same time, do a lot of reading on wound care by yourself. There is a wealth of information out there. No medical provider is really going to care about your wound as much as you are. So, in order to know how to dress and take care of the wound, do a lot of online reading. Unfortunately, it appears that many wound care centers in NJ do not keep up to date with all the modern methods.

He then left the patient he was with and then was like "why are you talking to my staff". He came into my room and said that we are not getting off on the right foot and I'm being "feisty" and "fighting with him". ILITERALLY ASKED WHEN I WOULD BE SEEN!!!!! He then said that we can't get along and that me complaining wasn't going to work. He also asked if I was a new patient, meaning that he doesn't even know his patients. I genuinely think that he was antisemitic and didn't want to treat me from the start. Nonetheless, he's clearly sexist, unprofessional, and RUDE. I was a very uncomfortable environment. I would never recommend him to anyone. It was an awful experience from the minute i walked into the practice.

I made a last minute (emergency) appointment with Dr. Mayorga at One Oak Medical as I severely…read moresprained my ankle and it was recommended that I see a foot & ankle specialist. When I arrived the front desk staff was aware of my appointment and was so warm & welcoming, which was refreshing being that I've recently been to a bunch of other appointments with different providers & that wasn't quite the case. The nurse was also very friendly & genuine & made me feel very comfortable regarding what to expect throughout my visit. Even the xray technician was bubbly & made me comfortable despite having to contort my body to get the best shots lol. And finally the Doctor ... Dr. Mayorga is hands down one of the best doctors I've seen in my lifetime. It's not just one thing that he does, it's literally everything. I felt heard, important, confident in his care & like he had my best interest at heart. He's truly a 10/10 & I highly recommend him ... & highly recommend the office as well! So glad I found them!

Less than 100 steps. There is only 2 lanes of traffic between here and there. I came in for a blown out knee, and I can barely use crutches to walk very far. Certainly not safe to walk across a street by myself. I had someone that could get me in their car over there, but noone to get me back, and I didn't feel safe as it's a busy street. I figured I'm sure someone would help, right? I asked for someone to give me a ride just to my drive way less than 100 steps away. NO. I asked for a wheelchair I could borrow and my wife can bring it back tonight when she gets back from the city. NO. I asked if someone out of the KINDNESS OF THEIR HEART would take a 5 min break, and at least walk with me across to help me be safe. No. I have no one else to come help me. So they are willfully sending me out to danger. No humanity in this world anymore, and certainly not at this doctor's office. And they want me to come back?! For a repeat visit for another couple hundred? What disrespect. I literally was crying as a 35 year young guy at my lowest point, so embarrassed and they just say sorry and go back to work. Shame on you all...
