We are visiting the Tahoe area and saw a brochure. It is not like anything else I have ever tried. I use sensory for my work so it was fun to flesh it out in a different way. I would highly recommend! We went as just two people. The optimal amount of people in a group would probably be 4. I could see it as a great team building experience.

She was very thorough in explaining what the game is like, the rules, and cheering our teams on. The games were fun and funny, and sometimes built up a sweat. I thought they did a great job coming up with games using all five of our senses. This would be a great place for TEAM building or for friends and family. You can have a minimum of two people and maybe up to eight, so there would be four on each team. I think any more than that would be a hindrance. It's not that big of a deal, but try to have your group it be split into even numbers. I feel that some of the games work out in favor of those who have more in their group. I've done so many escape rooms that this was such a great change of pace!

Most recently we visited Toytopia. This exhibit offers the chance to explore a hands-on history of toys from the past and into the future. My kids loved the oversized robotic claw, reminiscent of an amped up arcade machine. It was a blast trying to get the individually articulating fingers to close around the ball in order to lift it into the basket for the big reward. We also enjoyed the oversized battleship game. So fun to play and we spent 20-30 min there. Mr Potato Head was old school fun too. We made a competition out of it to see who could make the wackiest example. I think I won... or maybe my kids let me win. But the favorite had to be the mini arcade they had setup with some of the best old school cabinets. Donkey Kong, DK Jr., Dig Dug and so many more are all here as part of the exhibit and you could spend a long time here without realizing it! Oh and there's even a Zoltar fortune teller too! When you're done at toytopia you can go learn the history of Wilbur D May on the other side of the museum. I personally love exploring the artifacts and treasures he collected from his travels, especially the hunting and fishing trophies! All in all, a great little place to spend a

It was a bit strange today having only one person swimming in the giant pool. It was overcast and rainy, Saturday evening... I guess I was the only one that needed to do laps but, when you're face down in the water, you don't really see anyone else or talk to anyone else. This is my favorite swimming/exercise spot . Can't say enough about it. Don't forget, the membership here also allows you to go to the other Reno area pools. Including Idlewild, north Northwest and Mount Evelyn or Evelyn Mount whatever it is. Ok, maybe it is a clean pool smell. The building, locker rooms, seating areas, parking lot and outdoor areas look good. If you haven't been and you are thinking it is just another community pool like Alf Sorrenson or Idelwild, it is not. This is a jewel in the Parks & Rec. Department's offerings. This facility gets bonus points for being fully self sustainable with the hot springs and solar. The rates are reasonable with discounts on Wednesday evening and Sunday. RecConnect passes start at $12 per month.

I saw so much wildlife and even came across a deer and a beaver. If you haven't checked it out and need to relax a bit, this is the place. On the northern most path, once the shrubs and trees leaf out, you walk thru a green tunnel. I used to bring my mom here when she used a wheelchair for mobility...paths are pretty level and hard packed, and there are a couple of observation points paved with that plastic decking...they are holding up very well! There is a mystery here tho...closing hour is listed as 4:00pm, with notices the gate will be locked and your car stuck...but we've been there later in the afternoon and the gate was open and the parking lot full... We had our dog with us, on her leash, only to see a sign as we left, that dogs are not allowed...sorry.
