Why does it seem that all of Reno is sleeping on Birdeez? Good vibes fun times big bars, friendly staff and tasty food plus a whole lot of experiential fun make this a place that everyone needs to check out. The food was surprisingly good. I tried the chicken wings with their hottest sauce and couldn't stop licking my fingers. They were perfectly crispy and came with a nice side of fries and healthy veggies to dunk in the ranch. The sauce was balanced with a good punch of vinegar and a nice kick of heat and the service team really knew the menu well so they helped guide us to some great selections. The mini golf being themed around our city was a fun time too, and I loved the addition of the Joker, which makes each whole play a little different and the game of mini golf a whole lot more interactive. I loved how it would encourage. Encouraged you to connect with the people you're playing with talk to them and strategize around how to leverage these advantages to help you win. Now the darts was a big surprise. This fancy tech driven dartboard that they have includes a bunch of super fun games that make darts approachable for any person. I'm not a Dart player. Maybe I've thrown one a few times but the variety of games they offer made it super fun. We crashed castles and spaceship ships and played team games in individual games in the our past and all of us were like oh no is it over? Seriously, put Birdeez on your radar for a good time. They've got a good variety of HH menu items at $10 and under, as well as $2 off cocktails. (subject to change of course, but this was my experience in Jan 2026) There is mini golf, and ping pong tables and a cool little section between levels with pillows to be able to watch whatever they are showing on the screen. The place is best setup as a group outing destination with the main attractions being one of the best mini golf courses in town (two separate courses of 9 holes each on different floors), darts, and quiz show rooms. The food and drinks were pretty good, a little expensive, and surprisingly fast and easy to order despite the crowd, there are two bars on the main floor and lower floor to order from. I really liked their burger, surprisingly juicy and flavorful. The mini golf course is one of the best in town offering high quality unique holes that are well maintained and they offer real dart boards and darts that seemed to be in good condition and had electronic programs with various games you could play. The games were a little difficult to get going as they do take a bit to process each party, sign waivers, and get people started, so that is the only thing you really have to wait for. A friend had her birthday at birdeez on a Friday and from 9 PM till close, it's happy hour so the drinks were discounted, $6 dollars for a shot. The food was also discounted. Please note, this review is speicifc to the bar service and the dart games at Birdeez. Went here to play darts on Sunday. Such a fun place. We were warmly greeted at the front entrance desk by Darion. He has assisted us before and he is friendly, helpful and efficient. The dart boards are on cork so you are using actual darts, but everything is electronically recorded to make scoring a no-brianer. All the game stats and player info is all displayed on a monitor above the dart board. You may also bring your own darts if you have a set. Birdeez offers traditional games but also some fun different takes on the game, including turning the board into a soccer field or a miniature golf course. There are also cameras linked up to each lane so you can take photos of yourself and teammates to use as your player profile (or use an avatar if you prefer). The cameras can also take video and will generally show you video of the winner making that final play. The reactions of the other players are often caught and can be quite funny! Based on each round of play, a meme will show up critiquing your skills, many in a comical gesture. The bar service is prompt and friendly. They have a full bar and several good beers on tap or by the bottle/can. Lots of fun, upbeat music to keep the energy going. Great place for families or just an adult night out with friends. Service started out well but then it became very slow, had to wait a while for silverware, and just weren't checked on very often when we needed more drinks. The food was pretty good. The good, the bad, the ugly... Okay great concept in a big space. There are three 9 hole courses, an area downstairs for larger reservations, a full bar and food available. Upstairs are more tables and a room with a ping-pong table. The courses are well designed. The decor is also pretty cool. Bar selections are very good and there is food available. We did not have food but the drinks are decent. The bad....well most of the staff is barely old enough to sell Alchohol even the bartender looks really young. There was no management present. The staff was nice just were not real energetic and somewhat lax. The ugly... okay with no management presence things fall short. Like facility maintenance. The place is dirty, dusty and dingy if you look around. We paid for an hour with ping-pong and went to the room. There were 4 paddles that were in disrepair at best and no balls. We asked it took twenty minutes and three people to figure out they had none? Yes we were refunded but really...also the televisions were not working and there were lights out around the facility. Etc.other things like the condiments and ketchup and mustard were "ancient, greasy and just gross" If you don't have management to oversee this stuff it will destroy your business. This is a great data night idea or just a fun activity for the whole family. My wife and I came in on a Friday night around 10pm to play some mini golf. They have 3 different levels of courses, beginner, intermediate and advanced. We started with intermediate and I'm glad we did because the beginner course looked a little too easy. They provide a wristband that you use throughout the course to keep score, which is really convenient. We ordered some drinks at the bar before we started and throughout the game, the service was quick and friendly. After playing the Intermediate course, we paid for the advanced course downstairs. The courses all have a fun Nevada Casino theme and the holes are creative and fun. They also have a full bar and a variety of food options for eating. I came with a group of adults from our building on a week night and pretty much had the place to ourselves. We sampled some drinks - Chocolate Martini, Cosmo - and decided they were good. Not great, but good. I would definitely have the Chocolate Martini again over the Cosmo. We decided on darts. A lot of fun and a lot of extra holes but into everything except the target. We had a large order of fries to share and HUGE BLTA. The sandwich was good, needed a little more B and T and a bit less L. Otherwise it was just done right. Staff were friendly and were very welcoming. What a fun place! Located off of Sierra Street, between West 2nd and West 1st street. There is limited street parking. Mini golf and darts. There are 27 holes. You pay for 9 holes at a time. For my husband and I, it cost $30 for 9 holes. It was such a fun time. We went to the bar after gold and hung out for a little. This is a great spot for large and small groups! Great for parties. I'll start off by saying that all employees were very nice. I know this is a fairly new place but simple things made our experience a 3 star. We scheduled a time to play darts and arrived at the scheduled time. We had to wait about 20 Minutes before our area was ready. It wasn't a big deal at the time because we wanted to order some cocktails from the bar. Received our cocktails and moved over to our area once it was ready. The table at our area was full of birthday party gifts from another party. That was odd. During our game, we had to have several darts replaced. That was irritating. We were a group of 6 and had no where to sit our belongings, drinks or to sit until they stole an unused smaller table and carried it over. Come to find out... they double booked us. That birthday party had actually booked several areas and we were the intruders. It was super awkward and I felt bad for them. I absolutely do NOT want to be posting this... the golf was fun and everyone seemed nice but this is a hygiene issue that absolutely someone needs to know about. The public needs to know until it's addressed and fixed. When we went on Saturday, April 11th, there was a blonde guy with long hair getting us set up for mini golf. He was really nice but the dude was having an eczema flare from hell all over his arms and hands. Nothing wrong with that, I have eczema too... BUT... he actively scratching them while working. Like he was handling peoples cards, giving people balls and also handling putt putt clubs in between scratching bright red, nearly bleeding wounds and then touching immediately after. His fingers were cracked and bleeding on top of it. And bro had an active coldsore/or terrible zit he was picking at at the top of his lip too. Dude was just itching EVERYTHING and touching everything. He was also grabbing other things and going behind bar in between working the front desk. He seemed like a nice guy, just zero awareness that what he was doing was a massive health violation. We were planning on eating there before arriving but if that was allowed I didn't want to eat there. I hope someone in management addresses this. What a great new gem in downtown Reno!!! Met up with 9 other friends to celebrate one of their birthday's and had a blast. They have a great array of beers and cocktails, some were old favorites and others with some interesting twists. Their food menu was loaded with what you would expect from a game and bar place. We had their loaded nachos and wow was that a meal for three. Great flavors and layered so that you get something all the way down to the bottom. The place is fresh and clean considering what it was in the past, an antique store. Three levels with things to do on each. We decided to play nine holes of mini-golf. We all had loads of fun as it was challenging but not impossible. As for the service, our waitress was over loaded with customers. They need at least one or two more staff members. This review is only for food/drinks. Upon arrival, this place looks really cute! They were playing a lot of throwback music and the setup itself was cute with tons of games to play. My friend & I had came here just for a bite to eat since we were pretty hungry. We went to the bar area for seating and there were menus ready at the table. Our server came by after a few minutes and I ordered the bacon cheeseburger & he ordered the cheese pizza. For drinks I ordered a sidecar & he got an old fashioned. When our drinks arrived, they were not the best. My sidecar was too sweet & his old fashioned didn't taste good either. That was fine, as we were just hoping for our food to be good. However, both of our dishes were pretty bland. We got ranch for the pizza & fries and it tasted like it came out of a bottle. The food was filled with so much grease that it would drip onto plate after every bite. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place for their food/drinks, but our amazing server is what got them an extra star. Came in around 1pm on a Friday. We were the first ones to show up for the day. They have a couple courses upstairs with a bar and one course downstairs and also another bar. So just be aware there's a few choices. We got greeted and set up a game for the downstairs because the employee preferred that course. We grabbed a beer and the bartender was very nice. We started playing and I noticed for some holes, the ball would get stuck in the actual course itself. Idk if there's just not enough tilt or what but...it would get stuck and you have to hit it out of the pocket. Another thing I noticed, the carpet or whatever turf they use for the course already seems to be getting a little old for a place that so new. The course it self was just okay. We have been to other ones in other states and they were way more creative and fun. Also their golf balls here do not keep score for you. You have to do it on your own. The best thing we really enjoyed was the darts! You can pay for a half hour or whole hour. We did 30 min and was able to get in 3 full games, easy. They had so many games to play with darts and the best part was it kept your score!! SUPER CONVENIENT. I think we will come back with a group and just get drinks and play darts. Not a huge fan of the golf courses themselves. Drinks are pricey. We had one Guiness and one mixed drink. Cost about $24, a few dollars away from strip club prices lol. read more

It was fun especially when you were considered the "joker" you could make some rules or move pieces to mess with other players. It was a pretty quick play/small course but was fun. I have to mention a server named Camila . She was so respectful, accommodating, and just a pleasure to be served by. Definitely one of the best servers we've had in a very long time. What a fun addition to downtown Reno! There's plenty to do downtown in the warmer months but we need more activities for colder weather (besides gambling at the nearby casinos). I love mini golf, so I've been excited to come to Birdeez! It's a little pricey at $15 for 9 holes or $30 for 18. However, I think it's worth paying more because you're getting an elevated experience! There are three 9-hole courses to choose from and they are all brand new and very creative (2 upstairs, 1 downstairs). The one we did was actually quite challenging too! You get a bracelet at the start of the course and you scan that at each hole to input the scores for the previous hole. Long gone are the days of carrying around a paper score card and pencil! It even tells you if you were above or under par. There are also hooks at each hole to hang your purse or jacket which is nice. We didn't venture downstairs for long but saw they have a nice setup for darts down there! There is a beautiful expansive bar both upstairs and downstairs. We hung out at the one upstairs to grab some drinks! They have a food menu as well. Most of the apps didn't seem like good ones to split, but we got the spinach artichoke dip and it was very tasty! They had a lot of fun cocktails to choose from, I went with a Swedish fish one. Drinks and food were a little pricey ($15 for each) but again, I feel like it is justified for how nice everything is here. They are also kid friendly which is a plus, we were so happy we could have a little date night and bring the baby with us! Guys I really wanted to like this place. I feel like this could be an awesome addition to downtown Reno giving people more things to do and places to go that aren't gambling. I came here with my family a week or so ago - just to play mini golf - we had eaten lunch earlier and just wanted to do an activity for an hour or so. The gal at the front was friendly and walked us through the games to choose from. We chose a course after looking around at all of them. The mini golf was quite hard - made it frustrating for my kids. Perhaps we aren't the target crowd and this appeals more to 20's/30's drinking crowd.
