This store is still my favorite for all fragrances. The sales staff are knowledgeable and helpful. They're always dressed professionally and give great customer service. Neiman Marcus was another store I used to frequent decades ago in Southern California. Back in those days, I could find certain brands not found in other upscale department stores. These days, I didn't care for the styles or merchandise for men's formal wear when at one time, I would frequent NM for shoes, ties, or suits. I placed an order through Neiman Marcus. It was cancelled multiple times. I finally spoke with someone who assured me it would go through. The order has been processed, unfortunately missing a suite number on the delivery address which is a business. Fed Ex states Neiman Marcus just has to call to add the suite number. Neiman Marcus states they cannot do so. They also state the item will have 2 more attempted deliveries and when it cannot be delivered, it will be returned to Neiman for refund. I came to sample Loewe perfume. Two ladies helped me very nicely. The one I liked from the sample , they did not have in stock so they ordered it to ship to me. Order arrived a week later. I was excited to start using it but after a week the perfume still didnt grow on me. I decided to return or exchange it within the days policy but when I got there the lady told me they do not accept used perfume. This perfume costed me $200 and to be told they couldn't do anything about it is disappointing. When I bought it no one told me that I couldn't return or exchange it used or not. I recently had a great experience at Neiman Marcus located at SouthPark Mall. I went looking for a new parfum for myself to add to my collection. The store is well laid out, clean and well lit. The customer service was excellent and they were very knowledgeable about all the products I asked about. I spoke with an associate named Iman who helped me picked out a great fragrance by Creed and it helped that he wasn't pushy, but engaging and made sure to ask great qualifying questions so I would be able to make the right decision. I would definitely recommend Neiman Marcus for all things related to clothing and accessories. The manager at beauty & fragrance is a rude personality and bad manner to talk with customers when you wanted to return items.

I purchased a few things online and had them shipped to my sisters. She was sure they would be good size but when she got them they just didn't fit quite right and were uncomfortable. So I had her schedule a return. Unfortunately she delayed the return a few days and Neiman Marcus did not receive them within 30 days of purchase. Now they ship them, takes 7-10 days. You return them takes 7-10 days. Add a few days and a weekend or 2 in there if you don't return them the exact day you receive them then you risk missing that 30 day window. So now I'm on the hook for $1200 because Neiman Marcus has absolutely terrible priorities. And now I'm never buying from them again. read more

I was informed that it would arrive on the 21st. The item never came. I was told to continue looking for a tracking #. Called on the 22nd. I was informed item would come on the 22nd and look out for a tracking number. Item never came. I contacted yesterday Dec 23rd. I was informed item wasn't coming until DECEMBER 26th. I placed the order on the 20th for a reason. Next thing I know, I check my email...item showed delivered. I never got the item. Now I have to wait 2 days before I can even file a claim. My mother and I spend almost 4k that afternoon on December 2023. And they told us that we were going to receive a 100 dollar gift card from Neiman Marcus for the both of us but we haven't received it.it's been five months already and we still haven't received anything. We called them a couple times but they always have different stories to tell us on why we aren't receiving the cards and to just wait for a few weeks. So my mother and I came to the conclusion that the associates stole our cards and to this point we don't give a shit about the cards anymore since we have to wait this long to get no shit and for them to continue to make excuses. So to anyone reading this, I personally recommend to not shop here they would do anything for you to spend money there and when they are done they don't give a fuck about you anymore. Compared to back at home in Chicago, the service here is impeccable. Everyone is so friendly and extremely helpful. The layout of this store is a bit different, but someone was always somewhere to direct me to the correct place. The store itself is small to me compared to others back at home. They however, have a great selection of handbags +++ perfume and makeup. What I like about this store is that people are not crazy annoying shoppers (soccer moms) with kids that don't know how to act!! It is a very calm and laid back setting. I'm at neimens at the South Park mall at 7:15pm Friday sept 10th and I came in wanting to buy some Versace underwear. I looked at the options online before coming in to familiarize myself with the possible selection. I got to the section and began to look thru the messily arranged Versace underwear section for me. I found a few size mediums and this one box was marked lower than the others. As I noticed this a salesman approached me asking if I needed help. I told him I was going to ask but then I found exactly what I wanted, AND the price was marked lower. The salesman quickly says oh well, someone must have stuffed extra pairs in that box. I said, I don't think so, it's labeled "bi-pack" and there are only 2 in there. He made it very obvious that he was not going to honor the price and I ain't got time to play games. I didn't get his name but was disappointed that he wouldn't honor the price that a Neiman Marcus employee placed on the box. Love NM! They finally accept Visa & MC. Thank goodness.. I am sure they had lots of complaints and lost a lot of customers because of that darn rule (only Amex!). Service: depends what I wear, then who I get. Luckily, the people who I have bought from were really nice - so I go to them for repeats. Goldie is super nice and goes above and beyond in the clothing line. Euvgenia is so humble and sweet in the jewelry section. Mark is wonderful and attentive in Men's section. Leonara is an expert in all skincare lines! These are my fave people and are nice, and will say hi to anyone! Price: it's Neiman's, it is expensive :( Place: I am so happy there is a NM here, but it is smaller than the ones I have been to. Thus, meaning less selection of purses, jewelry, skincare lines, shoes, and no restaurant. But the sales people here will go above and beyond to get what you need. Four? Well, it is a smaller store. We went in there looking for two dresses - one for a black tie wedding and another for a casual day wedding. We walked every women's department and exactly zero employees even acknowledged our existence and instead continued working and/or talking amongst themselves. In fact, a female employee in dresses walked right by us without making eye contact to speak to another woman and her daughter. The other woman had a classic brown "look at me" LV bag. They have a new policy that if you open their makeup you cannot return it. If I knew this I would've never bought my elderly mother makeup for her bday. She lives several states away so going with her to Neimans was out of the question. Their makeup is not cheap. This review is strictly for the perfume counter and the woman staffing it at the front of the store. My experience with her is not the level I am used to at Neiman Marcus. I really like this one perfume brand. I just wanted a few minutes to try some on and make my decision without her talking to me. I've tried to be polite to the salesperson. I listened to what she had to say and I've asked her to give me a few minutes, but she just won't shut up, won't let me just figure it out for myself which one I like the best without yapping at me and telling me this that and the other... I've tried 3 different times to try out this brand and she's always there and she will never let me be. I've flat out walked away while she's talking because she just won't stop. I know she's doing her job, but good grief!!! Let me make the decision and I'll buy some instead of being irritated to the point of walking away and deciding to purchase it online. read more

To start off a review with a song...if I had a million dollars...I might shop my heart out at Neiman Marcus. Compared to Nordies, they do have some of the best fashion focused brands out there. Louboutin, YSL, Chanel, Balenciaga. However, their service prevents me from spending tons o' time and money in the store. I have to agree with Dion on this one, unless I'm dressed to the nines and on my airs, I'm routinely ignored in the store. Maybe NM subscribes to a "the customer must ask for assistance" but I'm rarely even greeted when I'm in here. The one exception - the women's beauty department. I've even been in the shoe section to exchange a pair of shoes that my sweet husband purchased for me as a gift, and the folks there weren't warm, at all. And hubs just spent a very pretty penny on these shoes. Other items to note - they take American Express, their own CC or cash. That's it. I like your merchandise, Neiman's...but the service really has to step it up to move me away from Nordstrom and your online site. read more

To my knowledge this is the only place in Charlotte that sells designer clothing such as Gucci, Fendi, Dolce and Gabbana, Roberto Cavalli, etc. Yes this place is considered by most to be extremely expensive for shopping, but for the goods they sell are actually pretty decent prices (compared to other outlets like Barney's or Sak's Fifth Ave, neither of which are located within 100 miles of Charlotte) If you are looking for designer brand clothing then this is the place to shop. It carries most big designer brands, though I was disappointed to know they don't carry my favorite designer Gianfranco Ferre. Most of the people I've talked to are somewhat knowledgeable about brands and can answer some questions about the items. read more

I went to Neiman Marcus excitedly today to buy a fragrance for my wedding. In my other visit is I have had service that went above and beyond. Today, I worked with a woman who clearly wasn't listening as I told her I was looking for an oriental fragrance and hated florals. She handed me a number of rose fragrances. That's not the only reason for the low stars. At six pm, the manager closed the door and turned off the lights. This is one of the major edits to the mall, which means she is more concerned with going home than ensuring her paying customers can safely exit the store. Poor showing. read more

A great store carrying brands you just don't see in most parts of the Carolinas. Can always find something I like here, though I may not like it enough at their prices. The problem with this NM is that they don't carry a lot of the things you can order from NM online, should you so desire. But ordering clothes online doesnt work, not unless you are buying a backup of something you already have and know fits you. You are still going to have to go elswhere (NY, Atlanta) to see some things that they just dont carry. read more

They get one star for the selection of high end luxury goods (Chanel, YSL, Gucci, etc). Unfortunately, that is the only redeeming characteristic of this store. The customer service here is atrocious at best. Not a single person greeted us at the store. My wife picked up a pair of shoes to try on and we sat there for 10 minutes waiting to be acknowledged. And of course we were not greeted. The salesperson even passed by us, made eye contact and proceeded to help someone else. We chalked that up to possibly the salesperson catering to a loyal client of the store. Headed over to the men's section and the same thing happened to me when I picked up a pair of shoes to try on.
