I came here to spend money on a new purse and wristlet. I was the only person of color in the store. I was on the phone with my hubby and I did have a large black tote with me on my shoulder. As I'm walking around I notice a couple of ladies moving with me trying not to be suspicious I guess. They were LITERALLY ON MY HEELS! To the point that I actually addressed them and said, "I am not a thief. There is ABSOLUTELY no reason to follow me around the store. They turned red and then wanted to ask if I needed help. ARE YOU SERIOUS?! They didn't have the Rouge 39, but Chris was very helpful and friendly at checkout. I spent almost $300 on a purse, perfume and wristlet. Chris apologized for the experience and said they don't profile. However, I beg to differ. I'm giving two stars for Chris and her customer service. I love coach outlet online but there's nothing like being able to see, touch & feel before you purchase. Plus on a nice day the premium outlets where this store is located is the best option for a little retail therapy! I love that this store has good sales although I can find deals online sometimes they have items that have sold out online. The staff are not as friendly and assistive as they used to be I feel but the help when asked to. Overall, check out the store! read more

This was a magnificent Coach outlet store, huge space, clean and organized, full inventory of men and women's clothing, shoes and accessories. They had some new seasonal collection at the store. Items were on sale up to 60%. Great price for the quality of the items. I loved the men's wallet and watch collections they had. There were so many associates on the floor, helping out customers. Multiple associates were at the register, kept the checkout line moving quickly. read more

Poor management. Wouldn't let me do online pick up at the door. I asked and the manager said I had to wait in the cold. Had to wait in line for 40 minutes outside to get an online item that was lost in the mail and then ordered by coach to go get in store. read more

Whenever I come here I typically have a decent experience. I came in today and was greeted immediately. She explained the sale that they had going on. The store is always well taken care of and the bags seem to be well stocked. Sometimes the sale area can be a bit messy but it wasn't too bad today. I don't see much a difference between this one and Concord Mills. Premium has greater square footage and tends to be brighter than the other one. The wait time here is better. Sometimes the lines are a bit longer at Concord Mills. To me the sales are the same. Both stores work hard to help you find what you want. They now have monogramming for luggage tags located at this location. You buy a bag and a tag, I believe the cost was $12, and they monogram it for you. Love this store. Everyone was so friendly and extremely helpful and not in a pushy way either. It was more of a I'm here to help but if you want to browse and do your own thing feel free. My friend and I were just checking out the sale but ended up walking out with combined 5-6 bags and accessories. The lady who helped us (I didn't get her name..darn it ) was super helpful and helped us check prices and styles. Overall great experience and I got some good deals. read more

I like stopping in here once in a while. I dont do it too often because I like there to be new items in the store each time. The store has a fair amount of men's items and there always seems to be some sort of sale going on. The prices aren't too bad after discounts, especially when you consider you are getting good quality. The sales folks aren't all over you here, but they are available to help if needed. Thats what I like. One negative, if you are a "big" dude, good luck finding a belt here. LOL read more

Today I had the worst retail customer service experience of my entire life! I purchased a Coach t-shirt for over $100 at the Coach Outlet in charlotte on New Fashion Way St. Store #05205. I liked the t-shirt that I paid over $100 for. I wore the t-shire once, but it got underarm stains from my deodorant. I attempted to return the t-shirt (with a receipt) with the assumption it's reasonable to expect that one should be able to wear deodorant with Coach Apparel. It's NOT reasonable to assume that you can't wear deodorant with Coach Apparel. This is why I came to the store just asking to exchange the t-shirt for a new one since there is no warning label on the Coach Apparel t-shirt that deodorant can damage it. I encountered Shawna - the store manager, who was extremely rude, and disrespectful when I asked for an exchange. She indicated their store policy is they can only make apparel exchanges with garment construction issues. So, then I said if that's the ONLY exchanges you accept, then you're telling me that means one should EXPECT to get deodorant stains in Coach Apparel. So, then you CAN'T wear deodorant with Coach Apparel - that's odd! That is when Shawna became rude and disrespectful and I took a picture of her. She came around the corner, confronted me very aggressively and asked me to delete the photo, and told me to leave or she'll call the police. She said Coach has a policy that photos and video are not allowed. I asked her to show me that Coach policy. Of course, she didn't or couldn't show me the alleged policy. I then asked her for their District Manager's name and number. She refused to give it to me. That was shocking to me wouldn't give me her District manager's name and number. I did delete the photo and she then did give me the customer support number and left the store. I did call the customer support number and I conveyed to horrific experience with Shawna and I'm looking forward to see how they plan on resolving this and making me whole from the crazy ride to exchanging a t-shirt the Coach Outlet. So buyers be warned, you apparently can not wear deodorant with Coach $100 t-shirts! read more

Very, very nice Coach outlet store! I felt more like I was in a stand alone upscale Coach store, rather than being in an outlet location. The store is large & the layout is very well organized. They have plenty to choose from, including clothing & accessories. The staff was very nice & not overbearing. The prices were high, even with a 50% off sale (this was on New Year's Eve). read more

I bought a leather jacket online with them, the leather jacket was falling apart in less than a year. I went to the store and the y told me there is not warranty after 30 days. Also that they didn't have the service to fix it. What a waste of money. Also I try to leave a bad review of the product in their site and guess what I didn't pass through. No wonder. read more

Who keeps gift cards after they use them. All I wanted was to return onto my Amex Card. Their return policy does not state that policy. read more

I just had the worst customer experience ever at Coach here at the Charlotte Premium Outlets, I just brought a bag on Sat night around 8:30 so not even a full 48hrs ago realized it was too small for what I needed it for, attempted to take it back to the store and exchange it for something a little bit, (Which means I would've been spending more money) now keep in mind this bag has not been used or worn until today when I took it back, also when I purchased the bag I only had my coach wristlet that evening, so I put it inside the bag it's self and left the store like that, the nice lady at the counter took the price tag off and put it inside the bag and only said that I could exchange within 30days not worn or she put it" don't put a bag of chips inside of the bag or anything that would rip the inside of the bag or we can't take it back" also she said no scraps or scratches, so ok that's understandable,I bring it home it's too small, I go to take it back right after work today a guy who identified himself as the manager whose name is Justin tells me that because the price tag was taken off and because I had just removed my wristlet from the bag it is now considered as used and I cannot exchange it, so I was like I just bought this bag Saturday night this bag has not been used except for just now when I put my wristlet in there and took it out so he says that with the type of clientele they cater to no one would want a bag that had anything in it at all, so I said to him that was not what was told to me when I purchase the bag on Saturday I explain to him what was explained to me not to have any chips in the bag and nothing that would rip the bag or scraped or scratch the bag, not by me putting my wristlet in the bag it would be considered as used and their own store associate removing the price tag would have it considered as used at this point I told him I work in banking and if one of my customers decided to purchase a product and I did not explain to them in full detail the policy and procedures and disclosed all information about the product it will be considered as deceptive business practices, I said that is pretty much what you just did, because your own associate removed the price tag and allow me to put my wristlet in that bag and walk out of the store that that bag and none of this was told to me prior to now, and the bag is now considered used and cannot be exchanged. He said they don't have time to tell their customers the full return policy in detail so I told him that night it was a few people in that store and there were four Associates and there was more than enough time for them to explain the entire policy to me if what he was saying was correct. Also to add injury to insult I do feel discriminated against because he said the type of clientele they cater to...I work in business casual attire I am in a dress, a blazer and heels so am I now not considered the type of "clientele that coach caters too" so of course I get the email address and phone number to file a complaint which is what I have done but I say all of this to say that I will not be spending any more money in Coach if this is how they treat their customers yes the nice person on the phone in the customer complaint department was very helpful, however that whole exchange in the store was completely unacceptable and Coach has forever put a bad taste in my mouth. I am going to exchange the bag online, but that's only because at this point I can't get my money back but that will be my last purchase I hope Coach learns to treat ALL of their customers with respect, also not that it matters but they just lost a customer.
