A delightful brewery place, enjoyed a flight of samples which the waiter helped selected. The nachos was perfect for 4 people, I had the fish tacos which was just enough and flavorful. The hamburgers were a hit, I was not able to take pictures cuz they went fast. Would go here again to try the burgers next time.

Beer is great and the beer options are many. As for the food... Disappointment in the food category. The salad wedge had warm tomatoes, the Mac n cheese was cold and bland, the apple sauce was delicious (except I prefer it cold, not warm) and the pulled pork was too over saturated with sauce and very fatty. Definitely not worth the prices... But hey, it's Dalton My boyfriend said he wasnt thrilled with the chicken. They do trivia on Thursdays so we were enjoying the comraderie.

I'm not sure why there were so many negative reviews of this place, this place is awesome! Sure the service is a little slow, but we didn't mind it since we weren't in a hurry and liked being left alone to enjoy the beer & company. My hubby and I came here on a Saturday night, the place is a bit hard to find because it's in The Factory Building's basement. We loved the decor and vibe of this place, very chilled and welcoming. There's a warm pellet stove fire by a couch/waiting area with board games for kids or adults which is a nice touch. The Restaurant was half filled and we were seated promptly. BEER: They had 12 beers on tap and we tried ALL of them between 3 flights (Yup, we love beer) and we were pretty impressed with most of them. I'm not an IPA fan, but their Mango Milkshake IPA (I know, it sounds totally weird & gross) was REALLY good. Just right amount of hop with a hint of mango flavor and a little creamy-ness. Not sweet. We also really liked the white stout, coffee porter, and the blond. Even They have a nice selection for every pallet. Oh and you can buy the beers to go in cans FOOD: We had the Bacon & Bourbon to start. It was a chunk of pork belly, coated with brown sugar, spice, and black pepper pan fried & drizzled with bourbon syrup. 6 pieces in an order. Each piece is not big (1 inch bite size piece), small portion, but perfect because it was rich & fatty. For main dish, we ordered the Tagliatelle - Sooo good, we LOVED this dish, everything taste so much better when you put a pouched egg on top. We also had the sausage & mushroom flatbread- portion is bigger than we expected, also very tasty. We liked that they use wild mushrooms in their dishes for more flavor. So far, this place is getting up to 5 Star status for me.... Unfortunately the dessert failed us, the homemade blackberry cheesecake was the reason for the reduced rating. Maybe they forgot to put sugar in the making, but the cheesecake had no sweetness... Mind you we don't like overly sweet desserts, this one had none. The only sweetness we got was from the crust and the blackberry syrup. It wasn't great, but it was good enough for us to we ate the whole thing. We just had so much high hope for it as our experience had been superb thus far. Anyway, this place is a solid 4-star place, we would come back again next time we are in the area.

Food and drinks are great. Drinks are typically pretty strong. Music inside can be pretty loud when there's live music. No TVs anymore :(

So happy to see this kind of pub in Dalton of all places! Living in Cummington I can drive 30 minutes either way for good food/ambiance. I noticed the sign on the corner and my boyfriend and I decided to give brunch a try. Brunch has some fun drinks especially the Bloody Mary which was speared with treats. Breakfast sandwich, omelette and French toast rounded out a menu mostly suited for drinking at a later time (nuts, olives, salads, sliders). I got the crab cake with aioli and jam which was yummy but sadly barely warm. BF got the breakfast sammy which was better. Kitchen didn't have my mixed greens so they sent out a spinach salad which I declined. Deviled eggs and bacon were tasty if not a little salty but all got eaten! We will definitely come back for dinner some time - they may not have gotten the kinks out of the brunch service yet. The best thing about this place is the tone & ambiance inside. Renovation of the old factory is top notch. The menu is ambitious but well conceived. If they can get the kitchen to step up a bit this could be something really special!

The onion bites were a fantastic alternative to onion rings and dangerously easy to keep eating. The beer list reads like a who's who of great choices, and the wings were excellent, possibly the best I've had in recent memory. The buffalo sauce was especially well done, with just enough heat to know it is there, but still approachable even for someone who does not usually go for spice. The real highlight, though, was Joyce. She absolutely personified great customer service. Friendly, attentive, thoughtful, and on top of everything without ever overdoing it. Honestly, the level of care she gave rivaled service at a five-star resort. I wish Joyce could follow me around to every meal I have. She was that good. Great food, great atmosphere, and truly standout service. We will definitely be back.

We are ordered the double dip, Buffalo chicken and spinach artichoke. It took over twenty minutes for the dips, even tho the place was half empty. We had a feeling the entrees would arrive shortly and we were right. Halfway thru the dips the entrees arrived. Chicken piccata was bland, and the pasta was overcooked. The sauce was watery and there was only a slight taste of lemon. Not at all what it should have been. Haddock was obviously fresh, but again, bland. Served in a bath of butter, but no herbs, no discernible seasoning. Services was attentive, beers were cold, if somewhat overpriced. Don't know that I'll be back.

Tourists, keep in mind that this is not fancy with music and artwork for sale on the wall. This is a real diner with counter stools and booths. I had the Greek Eggs for breakfast, which is a delicious combination of Greek spices, potatoes, sausage and other yummy treats. Toast comes with it (sadly not gluten-free), but you need to order and home fries, etc. I like that. You pay for what you want, not some inflated plate of extras. Note: you won't see the Greek Eggs on the printed menu. Ask for the specials. Greek Eggs are always there. My wife loved the raisin French toast. She said that it did not need syrup. I am told to try the Goulash for lunch by several people. It sounds great. If you are looking for a fancy or romantic meal, look elsewhere. Want a fancy vibe to impress, look elsewhere. We decided to try this place one day for dinner since it changed hands into a 'Jamaican'…read morerestaurant a couple years ago. Formerly The Lantern, still a bar vibe/a bit dark inside. We both got the jerk chicken with greens. While we finished our dinner and it tasted good; I have several specific impressions and suggestions for improvement. First of all, both of our dinners could have arrived much hotter. They were more like "well warmed" in a microwave than truly hot- so I assume that's how they typically do it there. We were hungry enough not to send it back to be 'heated up' more -but they should be aware of how hot their food should be when presented to customers. Second, we love Jamaican food- goat curry/jerk chicken/oxtails, greens, etc. This chicken was seasoned + tasty; but the chicken honestly tasted like BBQ chicken much more than the jerk chicken I've had in any other restaurants. Finally- and in the end this was the worst issue, the gal who was our waitress either had never done a waitress job before, or was so poorly trained at this establishment that she literally had no idea what she should be doing/noticing/taking care of. At various points, this was frustrating (she didn't check on us at all), didn't seem to know if we needed more water/napkin,etc. mainly because she just didn't walk by the table/or stand back keeping a watchful eye on her table. At certain points, I heard her boss talking to her and telling her what to do next- but clearly she didn't even have a basic concept of what she was supposed to be doing. I waited tables a lot thru college and eventually I felt sorry for her lack of training in a job where you clearly represent the business. But, we were the only people in there for dinner, only 1 person drinking in the bar besides us. It was just unacceptable. We won't return-but would love to find good Jamaican food somewhere in the region. PS It was several months ago when we ate there, hopefully staff is consistently better trained now.

Walking through the restaurant it was very dark - I understand wanting a romantic ambience but this was too dark. We opted to sit outdoors which was lovely - a beautiful evening. Our server was very nice but there was some confusion about our beer order. My husband told her what he wanted, but then told her he wanted it with his meal. She said it was ordered already (goes directly from her portal to the bartender) so it is probably on the bar waiting for her. She brought it to us right away because she didn't want it to get warm on the bar, but then it sat outside and got warm while we waited an extraordinarily long time for our meal. I know that the website says everything is made to order and takes a while but this seemed like way too long. Then when it arrived the lasagne that my husband had was very dark on top as if it was burned - like it had been reheated under a burner. My eggplant lasagne was delicious. No complaints there. And our Siberatas salad was very good. I would like to go back and give it another try since everyone else seems to have a good experience.
