I do like this place. The smoothies are always really good and someone who is gluten free dairy free is always grateful to find somethign i can order here. Only thing is I wish this was by the riverlakes inshape fitness gym - I think they would do better business there and the location is hard to get to in the little strip mall. read more

After pilates class I wanted to get some breakfast and Nekter caught my eye. It seemed like the kind of place that would have smoothie bowls so I figured I'd check it out. The space is very clean and had a chill vibe. I noticed that the tables had games on them so it seemed like a place you could hang out. The staff was busy with stocking their drink fridge but they did greet me when I first came in. I love pretty food and I knew I wanted the dragonfruit bowl because it's pink. I ordered and they offered various payment options. I was able to use Apple Pay so that was convenient. The staff let me know they have an app and they explained how I could start getting points if I added the code from the receipt. I wasn't asked if I wanted the bowl for dine in or takeout but I noticed they had marked it down as a take out order. When the bowl was ready they asked me if I needed a bag. I was a little confused because it seemed like staying at the shop wasn't an option. I was planning to eat it at the shop since I didn't want to risk having it melt on the way home. The assumption that I wouldn't be staying kind of threw me off. I declined the bag and hurried out and rushed home so I could get back before it melted. To be honest their chairs are not comfortable so maybe it's for the best that I didn't stay. Once home I was very happy with the bowl. The fresh strawberries, pineapple, and bananas tasted great. I mixed in the granola and coconut flakes and everything else and it all turned the prettiest pink. I'll definitely be adding this to my post pilates routine. read more

Nope, I came here because my husband asked me what I wanted to do for Mother's Day. Well, Nektar opened close to my house, so I figured why not. Disarray from the moment we walked through the door. Let us start with it being over 100° outside, and it was just as hot inside. The air wasn't even blowing. It was stuffy and humid. Not exactly somewhere. I want to sit and drink something frozen in. A gentleman and his two children arrived right before we did. They were serviced quickly and promptly. My husband and I waited over 10 minutes before being greeted. The worker, Zach, behind the counter, didn't even acknowledge us or say, "I'll be right with you," or inform the other worker on the back we were waiting. NOTHING. Finally, a young lady came from the back to take our order but had to ask Zach for help. He seemed annoyed with her and us. I'm not sure what that was about. Sadly, she wasn't much better. Not friendly or customer service oriented at all. Didn't offer to explain the menu even though we told her it was our first time. I ordered the specialty drink in which Nektar teamed up with Too Faced Cosmetics. It is absolutely the most disgusting thing I have ever had the misfortune of tasting. No harm. No foul. My personal opinion. My husband got the PB Mocha. Again, he was less than impressed. I tried it as well. I wasn't impressed either. Again, our opinion. So we decided to place one more order because, well, "Why the hell not? It's my mother's day." Again, Zach was prepping another order, but what gets me is he never informed the other individual that someone was waiting either time we wanted to order. Once we were finally acknowledged by the young lady after she came out after another 5 to 8 minutes passed, we ordered an acai bowl. The young lady needed Zach's help... again. He seemed annoyed as hell. She wasn't much better. Lover's quarrel? I guess we will never know. Acai was disgusting, too. Needless to say, it was a terrible experience from the ambiance to the customer service or lack thereof. It's a fad type place. I ordered a Pink Flamingo superfood smoothie. It is dragonfruit, strawberry, pineapple, coconut water and agave nectar blended into a refreshing healthy smoothie. Also bought a Vitamin D and Zinc shot. The service is friendly and accommodating. Juices, smoothies, açaí bowls, and healthy shots are on the menu. They also have cleanse juices. I've had an extremely unprofessional experience at the coffee location a little over a month ago, with a female employee who I assume is the manager because she stated that she "brought the business from the ground up." I was simply trying to obtain the rest of my order when I came in for a pickup, when the female employee began cursing at me, calling me a bitch. She stated that I was "mistreating" her staff. This woman was extremely unprofessional, I have worked in customer service for years and have never met someone who handles situations so poorly. I have never experienced such terrible customer service, especially while trying to support a local business. I will not be returning to Nekter, because they clearly need to reevaluate their management, due to the lack empathy and compassion. read more

I ordered a smoothie from the app, they did not have the pea protein at 8:30am. one employee people waiting, insufficient seating at the coffee road location. this is a terrific product but this owner has managed to have such poor service. you need minimum of 3 employees who are friendly and engaging for the customers. my wait was 20 min. horrible service. I hope they are able to make some shifts and create a well serviced store. read more
