The location is small, with a couple of tables to eat inside, but I always opt to take it to-go. The girls behind the counter are working hard and seem to stay busy with a steady flow of customers. I've tried their bowls, smoothies and protein waffles. When made correctly, they are great. Consistency is a little bit of a problem, but overall I would recommend Nekter. read more

I usually come to Nekter whenever I'm craving an acai bowl. I get the acai banana berry bowl with cacao nibs. I feel like I barely got any cacao nibs in my bowl. However, I believe there was a good ratio of other toppings to the acai itself. Did wait about 10ish minutes for my bowl, but that's the typical wait time here from my experience. Have some seating options if you wanted to catch up with friends here. But it can get loud from the sound of the blenders. Lots of parking in a parking lot. read more

Delicious bowls! I got a build your own bowl with açaí banana berry base, peanut butter drizzle, banana and strawberries. They were very friendly and the indoor and outdoor seating are was very clean. We got our bowls very quickly even though there was a short line. read more

I do like this place but the consistency with their smoothies is pretty upsetting. I'm typically getting the blueberry almond butter smoothie due to its large amounts of protein and sometimes it's perfect and other times it's watery and really just a juice. The food here is great but you better have an hour to kill waiting for it. Recently the customer service here has significantly declined. Customers are not even greeted when they come in. There's a line of disgruntled customers waiting for orders. You have to yell at them to get their attention and they rudely tell you it's going to be a while, after already waiting 30 minutes. So I am updating my review! Per the manager I was able to try other things on the menu and had a way better experience. FYI you should definitely download the nectar app so that you can get a free 16 ounce drink instantly! No purchase necessary, and when I tell you that free drink will be sent to your phone instantly on the app, it will be instantly! So I got the orange crush which let me tell you, I was really afraid that it was going to be really really acidic, but it was so delicious. It was made super fast even though they looked busy. I was greeted right when I came in. When you walk in it smells of fresh greens and fresh juices, I absolutely loved it. The workers were really sweet, really nice! I recommend also making your own 16 ounce drink or whatever size you get, the workers are there to help you make your own drink, just keep in mind the more you at the pricier it gets. Overall I really enjoyed my visit this time I highly recommend you come here to get your juices in your fruit bowls, and definitely try the menu out. read more

I must be a glutton for punishment by thinking I could get a juice today. Me: ordered a juice with celery and green apple and ice. Small Server: charges me for two juices - one green apple and one celery. Me: I corrected server and she charged me for one juice. Server: gives me a juice with no ice. Me: can you please add ice? I've gotten smoothies here before and were not impressed. They're fine but always end up watery and underwhelming, however, today I got the acai banana berry bowl and I was impressed! The acai smoothie was absolutely delicious with oats, fresh bananas, strawberries, and blueberries. The portion size was huge and filled me up with some leftover for a snack. It did take 5-10 minutes to make, but I was in no hurry and didn't mind waiting. It was $14 with tip, but it was a full meal and snack with fresh ingredients! I will definitely be back for another bowl when I need a vitamin C boost, a sweet breakfast, or just an afternoon pick me up. Ordering on the app is 100% better than in the store. When I order in person, it takes awhile to get my drinks even when there isn't anyone. For my online order, I got there about 10 min early and it was already done which can be good and bad depending on how you look at it, but my açaí bowl was still cold and none of the fruit looked discolored. On the app, there are also options to add extra toppings to the bowls/ extra add-in to juices for free. In terms of the staff, there's always only been 1 person working at the front and making things at the same time so I can't imagine what the wait would be like if there was a long line. I come to this location or the West Freeway location (by Central Market) almost weekly. I downloaded the Nekter app, and would recommend doing so if you plan to be a regular here. I got a free drink just for downloading the app, and I believe I got a free turmeric shot on my birthday. When you order from the app, you get the options of adding certain toppings or add-ons for free! I took off one-star because service and quality varies. Sometimes the portion size of the acai or dragon fruit bowls are smaller. Sometimes I'll have a lot blueberries on my acai berry bowl, and other times I'll have less than 5. Once it took me over 15 minutes to get my Greenie drink even though I ordered online and I let them know I was there to pick it up. There seemed to be a breakdown in communication between the staff because someone stuck my drink in the fridge instead of letting me know it was ready. They did apologize when they realize the error and gave me a coupon to lessen my wrath of hangry, so I have since forgiven them :) Will still be a regular here despite their shortcomings, but hopefully they can iron out their kinks soon! read more

I've looked for a way to leave a complaint without having to leave a bad review because I really love this place but after being unable to find one I've resorted to leaving a review. I come in on a pretty regular basis and last night was the first time I've had a bad experience. And get the same thing almost everytime a small PB Mocha with pea protein, and last night it was just awful it was super runny and tasted like peanut butter water. The ladies Working tried to fix it and I even watched one text the manager about the issue which didn't help fix it. They offered to remake it but I ended up just getting a refund instead. I'm not mad at the girls working because they tried to fix it and they're always so nice but one thing any type of food establishment needs to consistency. Most of the times I come in they're out of something, usually strawberries but air has never been to the extreme that things don't come out the way they're supposed to taste. read more

I left drinking happily till I pulled a hair out of my mouth that was clearly not of my own! Called them immediately after the disgusting discovery and no answer! Nice little smoothie shop, not very crowded for a Saturday morning. Moderately priced, and the small 6 Oz Health Nut (w almond butter) fills me right up. Doesn't have a lot of sugar like other smoothie places. BONUS - they have Vegan ice cream!! read more
