Cindy was great the whole time. During my time looking at homes, she listened to what I wanted and we customized what houses we would be looking at or not looking at from our list as we went along and I could see more of what I wanted and what I didn't. Cindy flexed and flowed the whole time, listening and making suggestions based on my various requests. This was a learning process for me too since it was my first home-buying experience. She then set up regular e-mails through the MLS for us to look at and let her know our thoughts so she could help narrow our search for the right home. When a house suddenly came available for us to get in on quickly, she was very quick with communication both on our end and with the builder. She made sure that we were the first in on this home because she knew it wouldn't last. Plus her standing positive relationship with the builder helped us out immensely to get in on it before the house even hit the market! Additionally, she celebrated the victories throughout the process including when out offer was accepted on this house and when we accepted an offer on the house we we selling, even though we were working with another realtor in another city for that sale. Lastly, Carmen did everything she could to help take the stress off of us. I was 6 months pregnant during the time we found a house and were closing. She did what she could to take things off of my to-do list to help make my life less stressful. She went above and beyond in this area. When we realized the house we were buying didn't come with blinds, Carmen called a blind company on our behalf, set up the appointment for the windows to be measured and managed all the communication with the company. I initially met Sondra through a friend and, long story short, went on what felt like 300 viewings. Sondra never made me feel bad about how obnoxiously picky I am. I lost my nerve after an offer I put in fell through, and I took a break. I met a great guy, who lived too far out of Austin and convinced him to move to Austin to date me (we're married now so it was worth it his time). I hooked him up with Sondra, and boy, I did not make it an easy sale for her. I think I vetoed somewhere in the neighborhood of 10 houses my at the time boyfriend liked (really, they had awful floor plans) and when we finally found the one, we both just knew. Sondra kicked butt during the sale. She asked for things we didn't think about asking that benefited us, and was firm with the seller. There was a lot of fight to put up to get the house but we didn't feel like we had to do any of it ourselves as Sondra was always on it. We never felt neglected, she was always prompt, honest, and excited to help. My now husband enjoyed working with her so much he used her services to sell the property he moved from. The very first application they received they sent to me - the guy declared his income to be $0, and when I questioned it, they said that they talked with him and that he was a web developer that just sold his company. I reluctantly agreed, since I wanted the place rented ASAP. Big mistake - the guy had warrants out for his arrest, and his "emergency contact" was his estranged wife who had a restraining order against him and was not legally able to sign a contract. Roman never called her or did any sort of thorough background check. The guy is now in jail, and his girlfriend is renting my house out on Airbnb without my permission - they haven't paid rent in 2 months, and while they're making $263/night on Airbnb, I'm stuck paying the bills while waiting for the eviction process to proceed. My mistake - I trusted that Roman was a professional and knew his business - he just wanted to make a quick buck.
