I hired them for a pest inspection of a house I wanted to buy. They missed obvious termite damage in the garage. We found the damage when we moved in and called them for an explanation. They have since done nothing but try to avoid any responsibility for their mistake. Today I spoke with Keith Nolan and his excuses morphed over the conversation but all were preposterous: "There was clutter in the garage so we couldn't see the damage" - untrue, the pictures I took that day show the damage was clearly visible when they inspected, they just missed it. "I have been doing this 32 years and can assure you that we bear no responsibility under North Carolina law for this" - surely they have a duty of care? "We saw the damage but we couldn't get close enough to determine the species causing it so we couldn't mention it in the report" - is there anyone that believes that can possibly be true? "We saw the damage but despite our many years of experience we couldn't be sure it was caused by insects - it might have been nail holes" - nails impersonating termites? Obviously up to you, but if they make a mistake, and everyone makes mistakes, this company will do everything to avoid taking any responsibility for its mistake. You can judge whether the excuses above are incompetent or dishonest. If you don't feel lucky, consider using another company. read more

The gentle man came out to give a quote about treating for termites and bettles. He was rude and talked down to me. I felt that he got irriated when talking about insulation and vapor barriers. Which was not what he was out there to disguise with me. I don't feel like he would talked to my husband that way if he had been here. read more

I initially had Nelon Cole come out and spray for black ants around in my kitchen and in my bathroom. They came and completed the service, couple days later and I still have ants, I call them back and they say ok well we have a 30 day warranty on our service so they come come back and service again. Couple days later I still had ants, i kept calling and they kept coming around every other week probably probably for 6 or 7 times just to spray for black ants. The last time they came out they said they sprayed the strongest stuff they had, they said it was potent enough for termites. The technician said that was the last time I would see him, well a week later and I still got ants. I call nelon cole and speak with a manager. They inform me that the stuff they used is slow kill and I should give it a couple weeks to work. So I do, after having ants in my dishwasher and around in my kitchen for another week I call them back and speak to a manager and she says that the last time they had come that they used the strongest stuff they have and she says that there is always gonna be ants and they they can never get rid of ants, just control the ants. I don't know what that means, I've been in several houses that didn't have ants. She said if they come out again that I would have to pay again. I asked the manager why would I pay to have them service again when they have serviced 6 times already and have failed to get rid of the ants. She said I was lucky to have the service for free for 6 times. I explained that I wouldn't call it being serviced 6 times, I've been serviced 1 time, they just been out here 6 times in attempt to fulfill my initial service of ridding my home of black ants. I even tried to get them to send me a different tech out here and even asked for a certain tech specifically and was told he doesn't service my area and they the original tech had to care take of the problem. And my house is a pretty clean and clutter free home, I could understand me still having ants if I had trash and food cluttered up. After 6 or 7 attempts the best most awarded pest control company in the Carolinas failed at killing some ants. read more
