We stayed at the Dolce de Vista condo in the Meadow Ridge Complex outside of Egg Harbor. The…read morecomplex was clean and well maintained. The condo was beautiful, except for the scary clown artwork. The condo seems to be a new build, with great appliances. The beds were comfortable and the condo was clean. Communication with Simple Life was good. I received several emails with instructions for check in, garbage service, and check out. The condo is centrally located in Door County. The indoor pool is nice but they seemed to be making improvements to the outdoor pool, which was closed. It claimed to have a fitness center but it only had 4 pieces of equipment. The only negative things I can say about the condo was that is wasn't stocked with many necessities. I would suggest bringing your own towels. We were given 6 for 7 people. We couldn't find any dish towels. They had plenty of dinnerware but the coffee cups were tiny( more like espresso cups, so bring your own). There is a limited amount of serving dishes. We were given two dishwasher pods and laundry pods( once again, bring your own) and one roll of paper towels. There's no Kleenex provided. So while the place is lovely, just know that you will have to bring in some items. And the previous guests left there garbage in the garage. I communicated this to Simple Life and they responded immediately. I didn't want to be blamed for that. Overall, this is a clean, comfortable, centrally located condo. We would stay again and use Simple Life in the future.

I am writing this review to share my deeply concerning experience with this management team. I hope…read moreit serves as a warning to others, especially those with disabilities or legitimate service/support animals. When I applied for an apartment, I submitted all required documentation, including official letters from my licensed health provider for my Emotional Support Animal (ESA), as required by law. Despite providing valid documentation, the management team repeatedly denied my accommodation request. They cited a Wisconsin state law that was vetoed by the Governor in December 2025 and attempted to enforce standards that do not exist in current law. Even though my letters came from a licensed professional, they claimed the provider was not "acting within their scope" -- a vague and legally questionable excuse that appears to be a tactic to deny reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities. After days of back-and-forth, during which I reminded them of my rights under the Fair Housing Act and threatened to file a complaint with HUD, they suddenly "approved" my application -- but with a $5,397.00 security deposit. This is an exorbitant amount that far exceeds normal practice and was never mentioned until I pushed back on their illegal ESA denial. The timing strongly suggests this was retaliation for exercising my rights, which is a clear violation of both federal and Wisconsin fair housing laws. I am a responsible tenant with good rental history, and I provided everything they asked for. Yet I was treated unfairly, discriminated against, and then punished for standing up for myself. This team claims to be an equal opportunity housing provider, but their actions tell a very different story. I would strongly advise anyone with a disability or an assistance animal to think twice before renting from them. I am currently pursuing formal complaints with HUD and the Wisconsin Equal Rights Division.

I'm extremely disappointed in how this process unfolded. We were moving from Florida to Wisconsin,…read moreand after weeks of dragging your feet, you finally approved us--only to spring a nearly six-thousand-dollar down payment on us, citing our credit history and other vague factors. You even demanded proof of work in Wisconsin while we still lived in Florida, which felt completely unreasonable. This felt like a bait-and-switch rather than the equal opportunity you claim to provide. To anyone considering renting or working with them, be warned: expect delays followed by unexpected costs that could derail your plans at the last minute. And if you have a service animal, don't expect any respect for your legal rights.
