He fixed the leaky pipe and filled back in the 4' deep hole. He worked that back hoe like it was his own second arm. Both before and after the dig, he was patient to take our calls after hours and talk us through our concerns. He explained how the pressure gauge should read. He double checked to make sure the leak was fixed and the tank was pressurizing properly. He also ensured us that there were no additional leaks with our well. The water pump would start and stop, wait a minute and then try again. It would do this 3 or 4 times before it would kick in and add the pressure needed to have the water run. My son was in the shower and the water stopped. The company we have used in the past was no longer in business. They did recommend Mansfield Well. I phoned Mansfield Well and they fit me right in. Mr Mansfield and his nephew came out, explained what was going on with the water pump and repaired it. They were friendly, professional, and affordable!

Steve explained what needed to be done and came out the next day to chlorinate the water. HIs fee was very reasonable. After completing the job, Steve then contacted me and suggested we let the chlorination sit for an additional 24 hours since Dad's system was older before flushing the system. I had a leak in the basement that I thought was coming from the well pipe saturating the ground. I…read morecalled and scheduled them out because they fixed this same issue a couple of years earlier. A guy came out, said he didn't think it was the well pipe and said it was the softener overflowing. Told me to run a cycle and let them know. I started it while he was there, he stayed about 15 minutes and said, "well I'm not going to stay for this, just let us know." It was not the softener. I got a bill for $205. $45 for trip fee and $160 for labor. After calling they told me they had to pay their people somehow even though he didn't stay the hour, do any labor at all or even get the problem solved. I asked about them coming back out and she said they would recharge for the trip and labor fees. I was never told on the initial call that there was a $160 minimum labor fee or a $45 trip fee. Now I have to find a different company because they lost my business forever. I've never had someone talk down to me like the lady did when I called to dispute the bill. So much for customer service.
