Our home A/C decided to die on the hottest day of this summer, the week before the July 4th…read moreweekend. We called Summers Heating and Cooling and they sent someone out the same day. Garret, the salesperson was amazing. He assessed the situation, gave us multiple options, and explained everything very well. He was very personable, considerate of our property and respectful. Because of how he dealt with us, we decided to replace our 13 y/o furnace as well and get the whole package. Summers was able to install our whole new heating and A/C system on Wednesday, just two days later. Ethan and Emmet were amazing. They were here right on time, they worked in the heat and WOW, the care and concern for us and our property was amazing. They were very friendly, very professional, answered any questions we had - and never made us feel like we were interrupting them. They cleaned up everything, took away all the old "stuff", and made sure we were happy with the install before they left. I cannot say enough good things about the two of them. Another HUGE feather in the cap for Summers. We did encounter a problem with the new system a couple of days later, and unfortunately, Summers' "on-call" system must not have been working. HOWEVER, once we got hold of them the Monday after the 4th, they sent someone right away to check out the system. Once again, Summers went above and beyond. Nick came and looked at the issue we were having, was SO apologetic that we had not been able to get hold of someone over the weekend and made sure he notified the management about the on-call issue. He spent over an hour reviewing everything, making some minor adjustments AND scheduled a follow-up visit for two days later just to come back and make sure everything was till working ok. We cannot be happier with our new system and the service we received. We paid a premium for the new system, and Summers staff, INCLUDING the office staff on the phone have made it worth every penny! We would 100% recommend Summers. They are the highest level of Customer Service I've seen in a LONG time. Thank you for your commitment to service and taking such good care of your customers.

I couldn't leave only half a star or I certainly would have, my horror story started on June 1st…read morewith a leak that had been going on before that maybe a couple three months long and short of it is I have a leaky leaking pipe in my one restroom and underneath the sink below the sink there was a pipe that was leaking spraying upward and after a quick assessment which included one of the guys going in my crawlspace and taking a look at the extent of any water coming down from underneath where the restroom is so they go out to their van which is so brightly painted look like it was done by a team of artists came back in and started quoting me all these prices and they basically declared the assessment of the issue to be the whole house needed to be re-piped because modular homes had basically bad piping that was used in the original house when my dad had this put in in like 1991 so anyway they go out get on their laptop computer and through Goodleap the nationwide company that loans to people to get work done they come back in and said that yes the whole house should be re-piped and that cost was going to be over $13,000 and I'm like well what I really needed is just the pipe that's leaking needed to be fixed not the which could leak later on, so they went ahead and tried to get GoodLeap to get the re-piping done and you know Im freaking out a little bit thinking that's a lot costing $100 just to come and look at it anyway they put in for the loan and I was denied because of it said not available to have that amount loaned because I'm currently on disability and only make $1440 a month so they left me with that assessment , saying that there's nothing they could do with it that's a bummer and anyway that was on June 1st and now here it is July 7 so basically 30+7 so let's just call it 40 days later and the leak has now turned into what I estimate to be a inside water park and when you go in the restroom you can hear it distinctly as when they come through the initial job you couldn't hear it you know it took a little investigation to figure out where the was happening but now you can hear it without going anywhere near the restroom so I'll accept it was my fault for not calling a different company immediately I didn't think I needed to since it wasn't making a noise like somebody hooked up a hose outside and stuck at the window because that's what it sounds like now I wouldn't recommend Summer plumbing and heating or whatever it's called to do any small amount job whatsoever I understand companies wanting to make a big job out of something that doesn't have to be but when somebody only makes x amount and that amount is not acceptable to as the amount that they like to be paid towards as a loan or whatever , So now 40 days later my flooring is dipping down well outside the restroom and pretty severely in the restroom and has damaged some valuable records that I collect and some of that is stuff is irreplaceable and this situation has me what you might call disgruntled at the whole ordeal they could've just fixed a minor leaking pipe but no they had to shoot for the whole kit & caboodle... not every job or the owner of where the job is taking place has the ability to cover such incredible amount of money. They didn't put their heads together and say hey you know let's just help this guy out and get his leaking pipe fixed they had to shoot for the moon like they were looking at the only job of the year or whatever I mean $13,000 to fix a leaking pipe under a sink is ridiculous in my eyes so I wouldn't recommend getting help with anything unless you're very put together financially which I am certainly not at 1400 a month barely , I barely make enough for plumbing tape & bubblegum. thanks Summers for letting greed override common sense. Okay I'm done y'all have a good day.

The guy actually said to me, "we came out 8 times for free" when I said they were a terrible company. So I spent $15k for a non-working furnace and they want to skip out on the warranty and expect me to be thankful they came out 8 times to fix what should have worked the entire time. Now I will have to sue them to get any resolution. Flowtech is horrible. Business owner information Michelle M. Business Owner Feb 11, 2026 Mr. Garmatz. I am sorry you have had a bad experience with us but i feel its important to correct you on a couple points. You made the choice to end the Service Maintenance Agreement with us which did end your extended labor warranty. It does not void your equipment warranty so to say we are skipping out on a warranty is false. We installed your system on 6/14/2024 and do agree there were some issues. We returned 3 times in 2024 with the last time being 9/03/2024 so to say we have been there 8 times is also false. We have not heard from you until last night when you cussed out our service manager for 10 minutes on the phone. We sent a tech, per your demand, found the problem that was unrelated to our initial installation and resolved the issue at no charge to you. You belittled our service manager to the point he had to end the call and told you if you treated our tech the same way he would leave. You said in your first yelp review that if we made an effort to resolve the issues you would update your review. We held up our part of the deal, but you never updated your review. We do make mistakes and have always done our best to correct them and side with the customer. Please feel free to call and discuss this further if you would like. Customer Response Feb 11, 2026 Dear Horrible HVAC Company, I am sorry to hear you are butt-hurt about my calling out your atrocious service and refusing to continue to pay you for failed and incompetent service. Your company returned at least 6 times on my records (yes, I kept that many). I could not care less about your deceptions and lies attempting to make you look better with your well earned 1 star here. If your are deceptively stating that I only contacted once THIS YEAR (it is early February when my $15k HVAC failed yet again due to installer incompetence). I ranted at your staff after they suggested it was somehow nice of your company to come try to fix your incompetence on 8 occasions for free since the HVAC had yet to work properly. I expressed how disappointed I was with their service (damaging my ductwork during an incredibly sloppy installation where they left open wiring and a hole to the outside as well as failure to adjust any settings from factory default among other things). Your company is at best a horrible rip off for anyone using them and at worst dangerously incompetent and deceptive. You wanted to have it out here so why not share it with everyone? Your potential future suckers, er... "customers" deserve to see it. The tech also came and found that the settings were not properly adjusted for heat (seems like you problem to me, but of course you want to shirk responsibility as you have throughout). Since they were here last time during the summer they only adjusted them for AC. At this point, after all the experience with your company I can only wonder if that was not intentional to force another visit. Overcharging, excessive billing, and repeated visits to fix your company's shoddy work seem a frequent report on the internet. I wish I spent more time searching our your terrible record before hiring you at all (Flowtech in Columbia City, IN if you want to avoid them). I filed a complaint with the BBB and am also looking into reporting my experience as a complaint to the Indiana Consumer Protection Agency for HVAC service misrepresentation and failure to honor contracts. But by all means, respond again so I can share my experience with more people again.

They took 3 1/2 days at my house to try and fix my AC issue. Instead of just saying hey maybe you…read moreshould get someone who knows more about this brand of AC they kept trying to troubleshoot it. To no avail. The. On the last day thought maybe he would drain all my refrigerant and charge me 1200$ to replace it. Dont think so. I still ended up paying a total of like 700$ for the 3 1/2 days but they left and never fixed the problem. Everything was the same as when they first walked through my door. What a joke. I use to use them for plumbing and other issues at my old house but I'm done with them after this fiasco. Seems like they're doin anything to make a buck. Would not recommend ever again.
