I would highly recommend Nelson Pool company. We were in desperate need of a refinish of our dusting pool. The process from beginning to end was amazing. They gave us a free estimate, Nelson looked over our pool and told us what to expect. They chipped off our tiles, sanded down the existing bottom. We picked out the new bottom surface (mini pebbles aqua cool) and waterline tiles. They installed everything in a timely manner and answered all questions. Lien, who is the office manager, communicates effectively and promptly. We are still in the "start up" phase of balancing chemicals and haven't been able to swim in it yet, but it's been a pleasure working with this company. Highly recommend. read more

Nelson Pool Company resurfaced our pool in October 2019 and the surface is now coming apart in several places to the point where we are getting estimates to get it resurfaced in the Fall of 2026. When they first arrived they had the audacity to park their truck on our front lawn and wanted to mix the PebbleTec 'knock off' product while parked on the lawn! I told them to get the truck off of the lawn but they still ruined a large part of my front lawn when they hosed off the their buckets, wheel barrel and tarp On the grass. The cement and or chemical materials killed the lawn In one area. The crew also dumped buckets of some liquid (diluted acid?) into my flower beds and killed a few plants. The entire process was a complete f'up. They put down a few pieces of new sod in our front yard but it all died. They also put in a new plant to replace the one that they killed with diluted acid(?) that they poured in the flower bed by the pool. That plant died soon after and another one I planted there died too. When we were able to use the pool we noticed that the surface of the pool was so rough and sharp that it actually cut our feet and we ended up having to use water shoes so our feet dint get cut. Bottom line.. I would not recommend Nelson Pools to resurface your pool. read more

I contacted 5 companies and they were the only ones that followed up on the quote, given me a very fair price and the work was perfect ! Thank you guys ! read more

"Nelson pools replaced our cracked pool skimmer. Not an easy job given the amount of concrete they had to go through. They arrived on time and when they were done, everything was clean and pavers were back in place as if nothing happened. Would absolutely use again. read more

I will not recommend Tony, the Nelson pool maintenance manager, to others because he has difficulty ever admitting he is wrong nor responsible for anything having to do with the pool that we paid Nelson to maintain. Tony seems to know it all and is bold to tell everyone that, even at the expense of his Nelson colleagues, who he tells us know nothing about pool maintenance issues. For the past several months, I have had two active leaks in my system and was never informed by Tony about them. My wife and I are snow bird residents who have relied upon Tony to maintain our pool on a weekly basis. Before he showed up today, the only thing he told me on the phone was that the pool gets evaporation in the winter, the only reason presumably he gave me as to why the pool was losing water. My wife and I need a trustworthy pool maintenance contractor to keep us advised of pool issues when we are up north. We suspect that Tony never checked the unit over the past month or so since he replaced the filter. By the way, Tony initially denied changing the filter. This customer had to remind him he had done so by showing him the old filter he left on site. Tony then disavowed that his work caused any leaking to occur, even though water was everywhere and evident coming from the filtration system itself. Tony never checked his own work and then disavowed causing the leak. Since Tony replaced the filter, the filtration system has been one of those active leaks which you can see by looking at it and the ground around it. The gasket around the speed pump is the other active leak which he failed to see nor check on, or presumably would have advised us about. To add insult to injury, Tony seemed offended when I asked him today about his pricing for a new system, telling me that he doesn't negotiate his prices, for a separate company he owns called Radiant Reactions Pool Services. I legitimately asked this question of Tony without being rude to him because I explained that a local pool company, Pinch-A-Penny , could install the heat pump he quoted me for half of his installation quote. I would not recommend Nelson nor Radiant Reaction Pool Services for pool equipment installation or maintenance services if they send Tony your way to do that work. read more

Have nothing to say but good things about this company..Had several estimates from other companies but Nelson was the best price and took his time explaining the process and I was sold on the way he handled and represented his company. The workers were awesome and a happy group..My Pool is now beautiful again and don't hesitate in using these guys. Class act company. read more

Hired Nelson Pool Company to find a pool leak. The 2 men weren't here very long, never got into the pool, and just recommended a possible solution (that I would have to pay someone else to do). They then sent me and invoice charging me for diving into my pool and spa (which they never did), and charged me for parts that they did not use. I called and disputed the invoice - they were going to verify and get back to me. They then just went ahead and charged my credit card. Several attempts to dispute this did absolutely NO good. They are very fraudulent - do not use!! read more

This review is based on a bad experience with customer service offered to me when I called the office for the first time. The person who answered the phone to my point and only my opinion was very rude and rushed to let me go. I was looking for an estimate to build a pool in our home. While the company is not accepting new clients, which is understandable, the lack of customer care was unbelievable. While I showed my discontentment to a person who referred Nelson Pool in a Facebook post I made she came after me being very aggressive which I though it was very rude not to say unprofessional. Sorry for this bad review. I am sure Nelson Pool Company is a good and stablished business in the area that I wished I got to work with but I must say customer service was horrible. And coming after me on Facebook was even worst. By the way I called to get an estimate for a project that will only happen in 2021. Too bad you didn't have interest. Also I'd suggest you don't call your customers "GATA". Thank you. read more

I"ve heard good things about this company so I wanted to get a quote to have my pool resurfaced and new tile. I called today 10/12/20 and was told the next available appoint to get an estimate is 11/20/20, more than a month away. Very disappointed seems a bit unreasonable for getting just an estimate, but hey maybe they are just that busy. read more

Nelson has forgotten more about pools than most people know. He is simply the best. He is responsive and responsible. Plus he comes himself to supervise the work. Love him! Wouldn't trust my pool to anyone else. read more
