He listened to everything we said and helped us work thru this first part. He worked up a computer picture so we could see exactly how the pool would look and we never felt pressured! He did an amazing job!! Next came Eric who was with us during the dig out and build of the pool. If we had ideas or thought that we wanted something changed he and Ian would walk us thru the pros and cons so that we could make the final decision. Eric was so easy to talk with and made things easy to understand. He was here every day and was always available for questions. If he said he was going to do something, HE DID IT! This is such a rare find in todays' world. Thanks, Eric, for all of your help!! Then came the final process of the "punch out list". That is where Andrew came in. He was also so easy to talk to and helped us understand how our pool works and what we needed to do to keep it clean as well as how to use the program on our phones. Once again, so nice and made sure we understood what he was saying about each step. Again, such a wonderful team!!! So glad we went with Trusted Pool & Spa!

It took awhile to identify the first which they fixed, but second leak is going down on week 3 and they are slow to respond. While the pool looks good it's not worth the frustration of having a pool company that uses sloppy contractors and doesn't adequately oversee them.

They gave us a free estimate, Nelson looked over our pool and told us what to expect. They chipped off our tiles, sanded down the existing bottom. We picked out the new bottom surface (mini pebbles aqua cool) and waterline tiles. They installed everything in a timely manner and answered all questions. Lien, who is the office manager, communicates effectively and promptly. We are still in the "start up" phase of balancing chemicals and haven't been able to swim in it yet, but it's been a pleasure working with this company. Highly recommend.

Nelson Pool Company resurfaced our pool in October 2019 and the surface is now coming apart in…read moreseveral places to the point where we are getting estimates to get it resurfaced in the Fall of 2026. When they first arrived they had the audacity to park their truck on our front lawn and wanted to mix the PebbleTec 'knock off' product while parked on the lawn! I told them to get the truck off of the lawn but they still ruined a large part of my front lawn when they hosed off the their buckets, wheel barrel and tarp On the grass. The cement and or chemical materials killed the lawn In one area. The crew also dumped buckets of some liquid (diluted acid?) into my flower beds and killed a few plants. The entire process was a complete f'up. They put down a few pieces of new sod in our front yard but it all died. They also put in a new plant to replace the one that they killed with diluted acid(?) that they poured in the flower bed by the pool. That plant died soon after and another one I planted there died too. When we were able to use the pool we noticed that the surface of the pool was so rough and sharp that it actually cut our feet and we ended up having to use water shoes so our feet dint get cut. Bottom line.. I would not recommend Nelson Pools to resurface your pool.

Did mutter about "not liking" the piece of equipment I upfront specifically arranged for them to look at and then did nothing with it. I spent a few minutes myself looking at one of them and determined that a check valve was stuck closed. I spent another few minutes looking at the piece of equipment I asked them to and then the manual online and then solved that problem - actually it also solved the third problem as well. They did refund the majority of the cost. Agree it is rare equipment but it was specifically mentioned up front. Also, still no idea why the acid feeder wasn't worked on.

However later we found out that it doesn't worth the money we paid. The guys who took care of our pool are new, don't have any experience or knowledge about what they are doing. Couple times they forgot to turn the valves back on after they were done with "cleaning". The guy just left 3 minutes ago and here is my pool, didn't even bother to brush it. It is my last day of service with that pool company!
