I echo the previous poster's sentiment. Mr Williams, the director at Nelson' s Funeral Home, was extremely rude over the phone. I called on behalf of a cousin to get her mother transferred and he was very dismissive and was basically holding her hostage until Mr Richard Robinson intervened. The family received excellent support and service from Richard Robinson Funeral Home. read more

Deeply disappointed in the services we received. The funeral director, Mr Williams was dismissive and lacked compassion. My brother's name was wrong on the visitation display and in initial paperwork until I pointed it out. He appeared confused during the service, mixed up who he gave memorial items to, and failed to organize our family for the processional therefore, immediate family members were seated 4 - 5 rows back. It appeared that they had never done a funeral before. Afterward, neither he nor his staff returned my calls. I would not recommend them to any grieving family. I recently attended a funeral at this funeral home. It was a very nice service. But we were very…read moreupset about the handling of the flowers. They were very expensive flowers. Usually the flowers are set up with the grave but our flowers (and all the others) were set on the ground over to the side in the 90 plus degree heat. We went off to lunch and came back a couple of hours later. The flowers were still laying on the ground down the hill from the grave. They should have, at least, been put up by the grave.

When they found that the vault had been paid for twice (once with them and again with McCulloughs), we were refunded the money and were able to use it for other services that were not planned or available 25 years ago. Everyone we spoke to was very kind and compassionate and I HIGHLY recommend. I feel that they went above and beyond to work with us and the funeral home to take care of everything, even things we had not thought of. I'm very grateful to them.

I dropped off my Maid of Honor dress for my cousin's wedding about a week ago and picked it up today and in total, I paid double what the dress originally cost me I don't have time to get it fixed by someone else before the wedding because it's in eight days and it nearly looks the same as when I dropped it off She kept insisting that I should loosen the bodice, but I'm a heavy chested girl who is not wearing a bra to the wedding so that could result in catastrophe. She wasn't happy that the bodice was a bit tight and on the other end she didn't really loosen the skirt as I asked her to and didn't take in Too much above the bum so the dress still looks a little boxy on me. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement, and I am bothered that I paid $200+ for an Alteration that was subpar is even worse. She legit charged me $15 for an eyelet hook that is $3 for a pack of 10 at Michael's. Not planning to go back-- I find better prices and quality work in the tri state anyway and was just pressed for time. Will update with my now $330 dress

One pair definitely needed attention, so it was easy for me to hand those over. But I hesitated a little bit with the other 2 pairs because they weren't really all that badly scuffed. They said they could make them look even better, so I handed them over as well. All three pair came back to me looking like I'd just taken them out of the box! They looked brand new!!! And they did it on a rush because I procrastinated. Rabbitman Footwear saved me!! Thank you very much, gentlemen! I'll be back the next time I am in Albany with shoes/boots that need some love. I had three pair of shoes that needed to be resurrected... the taps on two of my favorite heels needed to be replaced and the straps on another pair needed to be repaired. Elijah replaces the taps on both pair while I waited (done in twenty minutes or less) and the repair was easy next day. They were all shined too before I walked out! Excellent service and SUPER AFFORDABLE!! I almost threw them away!!

He has a lot of vehicles from wrecks or cars for sale depends on what he has. The salvage yard is spread out in different areas the owner has his staff go out in the yard with you just in case you can not take the part out of the car, truck, vehicle your needing the part out of. Martin's Auto Salvage has been open for a very long time he also has a wrecker service as well just in case your car is damage in a car wreck or something bad happen to it. He has some of the beautiful automobile classics in his collection.
