This place is a local gem you likely may not go to without a recommendation. The samosas are a stellar choice with about 10 different kinds to choose from. My favourite part? The selection of sauces! The food is *so* TASTY! But the prices are too high! The only food item that hasn't changed in price are their samosas. I wish they would introduce samosa flavours that don't have potatoes and would give at least a small sauce to anyone that purchases more than 3 samosas. As for the Biryani, if you want it at it's best get it during the afternoon (12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.). They now have Garlic Naan which is exceptionally good! Tandoori chicken has seriously improved but it's PRICEY! I wish they would introduce Katchumbar and give it along with the Biryani for an extra 50 cents. Pro Tips: 1) If you're ever purchasing a sauce with your samosas and you like spicy, ask for "half tamarind and half spicy yogurt sauce" but if you like mild, ask for "half tamarind and the other half mild yogurt sauce". 2) If it's your first time, tell them that "this is my first time here" and depending on who it is, they might just let you sample their curries and Biryani. read more

Reviewed: Feb, 2017, On Zomato. Dropped in at Nemat's at Sherwood forest mall for a snack after grocery shopping. We ordered the spicy beef, chicken and potato samosas and butter chicken and rice pocket. All were very good, specially the butter chicken and rice pocket. The samosas did not come with any dipping sauces, which was a bit surprising. The owner/ hosts are pleasant people and offered us tastings of various other dishes. The coconut chicken curry along with the chicken biryani is a delicious combination which I hope to sample during my next visit. read more

In my excitement of learning that this is one of the few halal Pakistani restaurants in London, i ended up ordering $100 worth of food. Unfortunately, almost the entire meal was stale and flavourless. I ordered the Spinach&Potato, Spicy Nehari, Butter Chicken, Biryani, Tandoori chicken, Garlic naan, and Samosas. Everything lacked spice, flavour, and seemed to be reheated. The naan looked days old. I ended up feeling sick shortly after. Definitely would not recommend, and i highly suggest the restaurant works on quality of their food. read more

One of the worst restaurant ever. We ordered 2 biryanis.... tandoori and boneless chicken.... the food is not at all good.... would never recommend.... when called the restaurant to complain about the taste of the dishes..they simply said they do not put salt or spice as it is not good for health..... lol.... seriously !!!! I would like to give negative rating but didn't get it.... the chicken is not cooked.... it's just like eating plain rice and unboiled chicken..... not even considering complaints of the customers. read more

I always get to this great little restaurant at least once a month. Best lentil soup in the city, hands down. Curried chicken with rice is perfect. Samosas quality and selection, combined with home made fresh keeps me coming back to try out different combos. Really tasty food that's served fresh, fast and delicious. This place is in one of the worst malls in London.. So I figured it must be good food since no one is ever in the mall and people would go there specifically for that.. it was my fault for that bad assessment. I ordered the butter chicken and it was just the worst $5 for a "large" which was 1 part chicken 1 part super watered down curry and 2 parts OIL making it definitely the worst place to get curry in London so far out of the 5 Indian places I've tried. Secondly, the rice was undercooked so sometimes you would get some crunch to the rice and the naan was just all breading and no flavor (normal Indian places will give you garlic naan which is amazing) Anyways, this place isn't really worth all the wording so straight to the point: if you live in North London and want some Indian food.. skip this place you will be MUCH happier at a place like Curry's. **Should also note.. people that were behind us ordered rice but apparently they were out but said "you can get a better rice for $1 upgrade.. I went here because I heard they have a huge selection of samosas and that they are fantastic! So I went tried a few samosas and they are nothing special, better than any samosa in any other Indian restaurant in London but what turned me off a bit was that you can taste the oil. It tasted like the oil they fried it in wasn't fresh, other than that I've never tried any of the food and I don't think I will because they don't look very appetizing. read more

We each had the tandoori chicken leg and two samosa deal for $4.99. Really tender, delicious and the perfect amount for lunch. Lots of samosa variations to choose from. I will definitely go back and check out other items on the menu. Sherwood mall doesn't add much in scenery and ambiance, but as long as the food is good I'm happy. read more

Best Pakistani / Indian restaurant in London. I bus from Western every day to Nemat's to enjoy the amazing food served there. I love the fact that they have the freshest Samosas in the whole city and have such a huge variety of them. I'm a big fan of their Butter Chicken which is half sauce (and ful of flavour) and half chicken for 5 bucks (just the way I like it) and if you ask them they'll give just chicken for only 9 bucks. There is no restaurant or any fast-food place on campus as good as Nemat's and I wish they could open up near UWO so that I and other students could eat great food. read more

I can't say enough great things about Nemat's! I always order the same thing: a large biryani rice and butter chicken and it is absolutely delicious! Every time I go there now, the owner (I presume he is the owner) remembers my order and starts dishing it up. I think that he even remembers that I like extra sauce! The establishment seems like a family run business and everyone who I have dealt with there has been extremely polite and has offered wonderful customer service. My fiance and I first tried this place after a recommendation from his coworker last summer and we are now hooked! We think they serve the best butter chicken in London! read more
