The most wonderful piercing experience! Kelly was so patient and helpful with picking out jewelry and recommending inner versus outer conch placement. I barely felt my conch or helix piercings, and they look absolutely beautiful! read more

HAD TO GET MY SEPTUM PIERCED TWICE IN ONE SESSION. After waiting 40 minutes for a septum piercing, my piercer Sienna Marie called me in and sat me down. After making sure I had the right anatomy for the piercing, she proceeded by making markings to my face and disinfecting the area. After preparing everything and piercing me, she handed me the mirror and it came out extremely crooked. She redid it and the whole process was extremely painful due to the preexisting pierce she just did. What bothered me the most is that if you were going to take all the time to check if I had the proper anatomy for the piercing I wanted, wouldn't you have been a little more thorough and pierced properly the first time?! Honestly the whole thing was super uncomfortable and the vibes she gave off were unpleasant. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. read more

10/10 and hands down the best, and cleanest shop with the kindest and most knowledgeable staff and artists. I've had 3 tattoos done in this shop and 10 done by the owner herself and I couldn't recommend a shop more! read more

My tattoo consult was amazing! Very professional, artistic, and clean. This is a great place to get a first tattoo and piercing. They have a very inviting waiting area with refreshments and comfortable seating. The music slaps too. All of the jewelry is beautiful and the aesthetic made for a great experience. 10/10 highly recommended! I can't wait to take my daughter here for a piercing and scheduling my next tattoo. A+ staff! read more

Nephilim Studios was founded for tattoo artists to cultivate their skills. We aspire to provide the best artwork for our clients, while supplying insight on tattoos and aftercare. History

Established in 2023.

Nephilim Studios was founded by Tina Brenda in 2021. Upon finding property in Highland, Tina put an offer down on this property with the contingency of the town’s approval of the business. Little did she know that Highland had a 20 y/o ordinance banning tattooing. On 10/27/21, Tina met with the Board of Zoning Appeals to present the opening of Nephilim Studios. The BZA gave an unfavorable recommendation to the town council. Tina then started a petition to change their legislation which got 2299 signatures and was presented to the town council on 11/22/21. We received a unanimous vote to amend Ordinance 1758-Chapter 5.40 to allow tattooing in Highland! On 12/13/21, Highland’s town council granted Nephilim Studios the zoning variance needed to purchase the property! Upon hearing the news, it was full sails ahead to close on the building and remodel. Nephilim Studios had a ribbon cutting ceremony hosted by the HighlandGriffith Chamber of Commerce on 3/17/23, and the rest is history!

My only complaint is that the website and the door say that walk in's were welcomed but on a weekday afternoon there were only 2 nail techs and they both had clients. I waited about an hour and a half, which I had no problem with. A woman came after me and they suggested she come in tomorrow. It was 3 pm on a Wednesday but the door says they're open until 8 pm. I know now that an appointment is necessary. The walk in thing is what make the chop shops appealing especially for women like me with up and down schedules. Overall, it was a good experience and I will be back.
