They came to cut down a VERY large Evergreen pine tree--72 years old and about 100 ft tall. They worked with the power company because our electrical connection to the power lines prohibited chopping it down easily. When the power company missed appointments set to address the issue, it threw a monkey wrench into their ability to take care of us as they wanted. But they weren't thwarted. Though it took a more circuitous route, they effectively took huge branches off, then felled the main trunk. Finally, they cleaned up all the leavings. They were excellent at what they did. They exhibited creativity in crafting solutions for such a daunting problem in a small space. They were very respectful in all their communication. We would highly recommend this team. They do a lot of advertising so I guess that's where a lot of it goes. Also there's extra cost of having a person just for giving estimates. Downsides could be details not conveyed to the crew or having to explain it again. On the plus side, they were available fairly quickly. Or is that a bad thing? I guess if you have an emergency and need tree work done right away and money is not a priority, give them a call. But if you have time, always get multiple quotes and check their insurance and licenses, don't just trust their word.

Needless to say, I was overwhelmed. Happily, I left the worry to Arbor Services and not only did they trim my tree, but also found the pesky insects nest and disposed of it, drilled 50 holes in my ground to add needed supplements, and even called the city to add some insight on how to cut the tree in the future since it's near some power lines. They did all of this and for that amount of work, I was thinking they would say a cost that would make even Scrooge's mouth water, but it ended up being fair and was a great value! Aaron at Arbor Services was by far the most knowledgeable person we spoke with. He let us know what we were dealing with, what the city needed to take care of and what he could do for us. He got us scheduled right away and our trees look great. He was easy to communicate with and very friendly. He even told us about his time working with the city and trimming the Sycamores along the side of our house. He really understand trees and how to best care for and maintain them. Aaron's price was very reasonable and much less than most of the other quotes we received. We are happy with the service he offered and he left our yard looking great.
