We're always on the look out for Hobby Stores on our travels and this one popped up in a random…read moresearch. Its hard to miss it, there's a HUGE train outside with the store name on it. It reminded me of the old school train shops my dad, uncle, and grandad always took me too as a kid. There's a HUGE variety of model trains, scenery, paints, parts, you'd be hard pressed to not find something you need here. The owner greeted us warmly, mentioned a sale they had going on and said to ask him if we needed anything. Besides trains he also had a decent stock of model planes and cars, a few Star Trek models from the 80s but again, the bulk of his stock is trains. We were in the market for Gunpla models and sadly he didn't stock those but I will be telling my uncle about this place when he needs supplies for his trains. A great small business to stop in if you're looking for model trains and parts and want to support local businesses. Owner is very knowledgeable and friendly, willing to go that extra mile to help find what you need.

I came back four hours after ordering/paying for it, and Anthony was very gracious about letting me cancel my order, even though his supplier was not so gracious to him. I recommend those big candles because they have the nicest scents and are perfectly made to last a long time. Also, the caps are made with great fabric, not cheaply made. I'm a cap collector, so the fabric and how caps stay on me make a difference. There are other items that I was thinking of getting, but that's next time. I understand their concern of not wanting things broken or stolen, but falsely accusing me and my sister of stealing a $7 item we were looking at for 30 seconds goes too far. My dad went back in to talk to them about it and all that they gave him was sarcasm and childish remarks. Just beware when you go in. They will not take their eyes off of you once. Learn how to run a business, THEN open one.
