Too bad it doesn't show up when searching for gift shops in Gettysburg. I happened upon it after enjoying dinner at General Pickett's buffet downstairs. I wish I had found this place before I wasted my money at another gift shop. I could have purchased the same items here for a lot less money. But I DID buy some cool t-shirts here anyway. I will be back with my relatives from W.Va next Sept. and this will be where we will buy the souvenirs.

I will keep her memory in the little wooden cat. The store carries a lot of exciting handcrafts and candles. I recommend those big candles because they have the nicest scents and are perfectly made to last a long time. Also, the caps are made with great fabric, not cheaply made. I'm a cap collector, so the fabric and how caps stay on me make a difference. There are other items that I was thinking of getting, but that's next time. I'll ask Hubby to take me back here when we return to Gettysburg. The store was also very clean. I loved the store! Recommended.

I understand their concern of not wanting things broken or stolen, but falsely accusing me and my sister of stealing a $7 item we were looking at for 30 seconds goes too far. My dad went back in to talk to them about it and all that they gave him was sarcasm and childish remarks. Just beware when you go in. They will not take their eyes off of you once. (Hey, it's right in the name.) All the stuff you've seen on late night television, there's no need to call the operators who are standing by, it's all right here. A pair of things you wear on your hands to scoop leaves. A thing you clip to your shoes so that you can aerate your lawn. Battery chargers. Lights. Grilling widgets. Bungie cords. And lots of books for the DIY person.
