Excellent selection of new pull comics, which at some shops these days is hard to find. Back of the store is mostly comprised of longboxes on tables, with a large selection. Better longboxes are on the tables with some budget longboxes located on the floor. The good selection of toys and collectables just makes Comics World even more well-rounded. This might be the best kept secret in the southern Pennsylvania comic book shop scene and I would absolutely return here.

It has very good pricing and a great selection of games and consoles. Consoles generally range from the Atari VCS (2600) to seventh generation (360, DS, Wii, PS3). Consoles come with one controller and the attachments needed to hook the system up to a TV. The console software is pretty extensive, starting with the NES and running up through 7th gen. Most of the handheld is Gameboy and DS. Once again, their selection is rather well rounded. Some of the more premium titles are located in the display case back by the register. There are also some rare curiosities in the collection that were pleasant surprises ( I never expected to see a full catalog of Virtual Boy software on display anywhere ). Something to be aware of is that any retro purchases can sometimes not work out. We have had one GBA cart and an XBOX cd fail to start when trying out the software at home. The store has a very generous return policy. I believe as long as you bring back the title within 10, they will accept returns and exchanges. The staff is very friendly and will always try to help out. In our cases, the store gave us a direct exchange on the scratched XBOX disc after trying to repair it instore, and a full refund for the GBA game. The store also has other typical collections (Trading Card Games, Funko Pops and other figurines). These are not my area of expertise, so I can't comment on the selection or prices. Several arcade machines are set on free-to-play mode at the store entrance to round out the experience. If vintage video games are your thing, then Retro Loot is definitely worth checking out.

They have a great repair service too and fixed a machine that was not "fixable" according to the last service tech to whom I took it before I moved here. They offer classes for beginner to advanced enthusiasts and I have taken several classes. Wonderful classes. Impressive and kind customer service. Cheerful, patient, and kind teaching and suggestions. They all listen carefully to me and help me. What nice people! You won't go wrong buying a machine from them. They do back up their sales with education and repairs, no hassles. The store itself is lovely and refreshing. Quilts cover the walls, fabric displayed beautifully, notions, threads, patterns. I was a Dream Machine owner and was sold immediately on the Luminaire when I was shown a few features. I went back the next weekend (2 hour trip from home) and traded in my Dream Machine for the Luminaire. While I was there all the staff was congenial and very helpful. I was never pushed, pressured or made to feel stupid or unimportant. Time was spent teaching me the Luminaire and again never felt that I was wasting or taking up valuable time. She was willing to answer any questions I had and show me anything that I wished to see. Many places once the sale is made you struggle to get service. That is NOT the case with this shop. I was there for almost 3 hours and loved every minute of it. I only wish the shop was closer to me, but maybe it is good that it isn't they would get tired of seeing me! LOL I love that if the need should arise maintenance can be done on a machine while you shop. I cannot say enough about the shop and the family that operates it. They take pride in what they do.
